Position Description
Job Summary
Responsible for ensuring that aircraft operated are maintained within required specifications and are airworthy before operation.

Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assist in the monitoring and evaluation of maintenance personnel and maintenance actions performed, inspects aircraft equipment condition for safety, and ensures compliance with technical directives.
2. Reviews aircraft historical records, log book entries, test measurement and diagnostic equipment, Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP) Air Wing Information System (AWIS) and weight and balance for accuracy and compliance.
3. Advises maintenance personnel in the use of technical data to troubleshoot, repair, or replace malfunctioning systems.
4. Verifies proper procedures, tools and technical data are used while conducting maintenance.
5. Conducts audits/surveillance of maintenance programs to ensure compliance with the Quality Control and Maintenance Plans.
OTHER or ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. May be required to work night shifts on a quarterly basis.
2. Oversees and trains Host Nation personnel in the accomplishment of the duties as outlined in the approved quality control plan.
3. Also acts as the Safety Management Representative (SMR).

Knowledge & Skills
1. Knowledge of The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS), Aviation unit level and Intermediate level maintenance processes and procedures.
2. Extensive knowledge of component time before overhaul, records keeping, historical records, and associated equipment, and applicable technical orders required.
3. Working Knowledge of all Department of Defense, and Federal Aviation Administration maintenance management programs, historical records, and system of component tracking and air worthiness directive tracking.
4. Exceptional ability to comprehend all aspects of TAMMS, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and generally accepted maintenance practices is required
5. Working knowledge of Quality Control, Quality Assurance and related programs and Department of State regulations.
6. Exceptional knowledge of and application of AWIS data management systems.
7. Effective interpersonal skills for complex system inspection relating to safety of flight and on the job maintenance activities.
8. Ability to analyze inspection findings, and determine best case analysis.
9. Must be fully knowledgeable of all requirements within the complex aviation maintenance repair, overhaul and functional use as they apply.
10. Must be able to interpret technical data, and determine best case path forward to correct deficiencies.
11. Travel and supervision of large groups of maintenance personnel may be required on a periodic basis
12. Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) through Department of State Background Investigation is a condition of continued employment.
13. Must possess a current U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one before the assignment.

Experience & Education
5 years experience in Quality Control with expertise in one or more aircraft systems as a senior aircraft mechanic. Must be able to read, write and interpret technical data. Must be familiar with aircraft sub-systems, components, associated equipment and technical documentation systems. An FAA Airframe and Power plant (A&P) Certificate is required. CMF 15 Aviation MOS series or other military/commercial equivalent.

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Physical Requirements/Working Environment
1. Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
2. Must be able to type using a standard keyboard to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.
3. Must be able to crouch, crawl, grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbow/knee and reach above/below shoulders.
4. Must be able to communicate by voice and ear over telephone.
5. Must be able to distinguish color and judge three-dimensional depths.
6. May be required to lift objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds.

The work conditions are normally those of a standard office environment where there is little physical discomfort. During the performance of duties outside the office environment, the diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to changes in temperature and weather. May be exposed to areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles; may be exposed to electrical shock hazards or work near moving mechanical parts.

Travel
Travel to and between CONUS and OCONUS locations is required.

This training will provide individuals with the ability to fuse operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process in order to increase their analysis and targeting of enemy networks that employ Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

Detailed Responsibilities:

The Training Developer will provide hands-on and web-based lessons to training cadre who will assist in internal training of JIEDDO personnel as well as training members of deploying units and selected Interagency/International partners. Training and lessons will focus on the use of a broad range of tools, methodologies and datasets in order to develop greater fidelity of enemy networks employing IEDs based on several DOD and IC secret and top secret networks. The successful training developer should be able to:

- Utilize the Army Systems approach to training in order:

- Conduct a needs analysis to determine training requirements.

- Conduct a critical task analysis on the identified training need and develop a critical task list from that analysis.

- Design specific training based on the resulting analysis.

- Develop, design and produce specific training support products.

- Develop specific training products and courseware on both SIPRNET and JWICs DOD networks.

- Develop multi-media courseware exportable to remote locations.

- Demonstrate familiarity with intelligence applications such as Analyst Notebook, Palantir, Google Earth, ARCGis, and other applications

This position may require some domestic and international travel, some of which may include short deployments to combat zones.

This position requires the ability to obtain and hold a TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility. (Resume must show that proposed employee currently holds a TS clearance with previous access to SCI level of information.)

Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, assembles, and reinstalls GSE malfunctioning components. Stencils and marks GSE in accordance with technical references. Stores, handles, labels, uses, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste according to environmental standards. Operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles. Provides pick-up and delivery service for GSE, including positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flying operations.

When required, coordinates all maintenance actions with the lead personnel. Trains Host Nation and/or contractor personnel as needed. Provides Subject Matter Expert (SME) services as required.

Job Description
The DRS Field Rehabilitation Services Division assists individuals with disabilities to make informed choices that will maximize their employment through coordinated service delivery. In collaboration with the Workforce Network, we deliver quality workforce services to individuals with disabilities who want to work and employers seeking to hire them.

This position is Responsible for coordinating a statewide business development and marketing program in the Hampton Roads area for employers, customers, referral sources, and the community. The incumbent will enhance understanding and promote awareness of the Department and assist people with disabilities in reaching career objectives. This position provides a direct linkage between services and employment opportunities with the business community, agency staff and consumers.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in establishing effective working relationships among diverse professionals, constituents, and advocates. Demonstrated knowledge of marketing concepts and promotional techniques. Experience writing for professional and public audiences and conducting training. Experience working with software programs such as spreadsheet, word processing, desktop publishing, and database management as applicable to marketing program. Experience using the Internet for the purpose of employment outcomes. Considerable experience developing prospects and implementing marketing strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience. Some knowledge of human service delivery systems and the vocational rehabilitation process preferred.
