JSOC Strategic Planner
Serves as a senior subject matter expert on national and Department of
Defense (DOD) policy, strategy, and joint strategic and operational
planning within Joint Special Operations Command J5 Directorate. Leads
JSOC policy efforts within DOD, including US Special Operations Command
(USSOCOM), Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense, other
U.S. Government departments and agencies, and the National Security
Council, collaborating in the development of directives as part of the
National Security process, Guidance for Employment of the Force, etc.
Develops JSOC strategic guidance for the commander and subordinate units
to provide focus for development and employment of the force and ensure
compliance with the existing policies and strategies. Army 59A MOS,
service equivalents are desirable.
Assists the J-5 and commander in planning and preparation of joint
operation plans, orders, and associated estimates of the situation and
assessments, leading Joint Planning Teams in the development of
deliberate and crisis response plans. Prepares strategic estimates.
Reviews and analyzes OPLANS and CONPLANS for suitability, feasibility,
acceptability, technical accuracy, consistency with current interagency
plans and guidelines, and integration of special operations content.
Formulates politico-military assessments at the strategic level,
develops and evaluates military strategy and objectives, formulates
concepts and strategic military options, and develop planning guidance
leading to the preparation of courses of action. Influences all matters
of special operations plans, policy and strategy as they relate to the
synchronization of interagency efforts and plans.
EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree required with desired degree in Military or Political
Science or other related field of study. Masters Degree highly desired.
Graduate of Intermediate and/or Senior Service College highly desired.
SAMS Graduate highly desired. Equivalence of 20 years of experience
and/or recent JSOC experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Requires: Recent (last 3 years) experience within the SOF or Interagency
community in a leadership or staff position within plans, operations,
policy or exercises with preference to recent assignments and experience
within JSOC. Knowledge/credibility within the interagency is a plus as
well as operational experience with and a comprehensive and complete
understanding of USSOCOM, its components, TSOCs, the Geographical
Combatant Commands and the authorities and approvals processes. Best
candidate will have a comprehensive awareness of operational plans,
contingency operations, crisis action planning and National and
Operational level SOF related policies impacting JSOC. Experience with
strategic and operational decision making, combatant command level
operations and JOPES is desired. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
CONUS/OCONUS travel is required.

Vibration analyst shall be capable of:

gas turbine engines, gearboxes, pumps, generators, alternators,
flight controls, etc.
Able to provide assistance to all USCG maintenance entities
without regard to aircraft type.
Experience locating, monitoring, and evaluating other services
and OEM technical change directives within maintenance, engineering,
and logistics disciplines for applicability to aircraft for support
systems for direct or indirect applicable to the applicable aircraft
program and provide justified recommended action.
Demonstrated experience developing and writing complex technical
orders independently including schematics, drawing and figures.
Experience developing and writing MPCs including schematics and
figures.
Experience writing engineering specifications including schematics
and figures for the express purpose of documenting approved depot
level repairs and processes.
Experience reading and interpreting manufacturer and blue prints
and technical drawings and understand engineering specifications to
resolve engineering technical questions.
Experience working on complex engineering projects that require
thorough research and coordination with engineering personnel.
Experience providing aircraft technical specifications and support
to aircraft dynamic test equipment purchases of new equipment or

*Position Summary:*
The Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for oversight for the
Recovering Service Member (RSM) and family through the continuum of
care. Responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of care, services,

1. Serve as focal point to assist the RSM in his/her course through the

2. Communicate with the RSM and his/her family or other individuals

3. In accordance with current DoD and VA Interagency Care Coordination,
serve as the lead coordinator responsible for the development and
delivery of services/resources through the Comprehensive Recovery Plan
(CRP) to ensure quality care and accountability as soon as the RSM
transitions to outpatient status.
4. Conduct a needs assessment for the RSM and family to identify goals
and ensure needs are met. Based on RSMs needs, develop, implement, and
provide oversight of the CRP as defined in DODI 1300.24.
5. Conduct CRP briefings with RSMs unit leadership and/or unit
immersion briefings for newly assigned unit commanders within 60-days of
assignment as directed by Site Lead (SL) or Regional Lead (RL.)
6. Investigate, assess, and reassess when necessary; all client cases
involving multiple variables to determine both tangible and intangible
needs across the spectrum of DoD care domains within the CRP.
7. Seek the best possible outcome for the RSM through conventional and
unconventional processes per governing regulatory guidance. Utilize all
available sources, e.g. the National Research Directory lists, SOF
specific information and benefits, VA benefits, programs, and Family
Readiness Centers to develop comprehensive solutions within the DoD care
domains of the RCP.
8. Establish trust and build rapport with stakeholders in the warrior
care process to effectively influence COA execution.
9. Facilitate expeditious and timely delivery of treatment and service.
Identify gaps in medical/non-medical services, intervene as necessary to
expedite outcomes and assist with coordination of resources to develop
and improve outcomes for enhanced delivery of services such as financial
counseling, spouse employment assistance, respite care information, and
childcare assistance, etc. and resources available through the National
Resource Directory and other sources.
10. Ensure detailed updates are made to the CRP as defined in applicable
guidance and USSOCOM operational requirements.
11. Coordinate/communicate to ensure successful transfer of RSMs CRP
should he/she be moved to a different location for care.
12. Inactivate the CRP when the RSM has met all goals or declines
further support and maintain all documents according to applicable
USSOCOM policies.
13. Consult and collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams during initial
treatment phase and continuing throughout the continuum of care,
including support during the disability evaluation system process.
14. Ensure the RSM, family, and/or caregivers have access to all medical
and non-medical care management services including, but not limited to
medical care, rehabilitation, education, employment-related programs,
and disability benefits.
15. Manage the CRP, anticipating future challenges during phases of
recovery, rehabilitation, and reintegration. Review and make
modifications in conjunction with the Recovery Team supporting the RSM,
family and/or caregiver.
16. Maintain communications and coordinate with agencies, in
coordination with and under the direction of the WCP to ensure delivery
of assistance and to resolve conflicts.
17. Assist in coordinating local and state resources, including referral
to Governmental and non-Governmental agencies, state and local services
and agencies, as appropriate, where the RSM and family reside.
18. Maintain detailed records of the RSM to document delivery of
benefits and medical and non-medical care.
19. Collaborate as needed with community partners such as veteran
organizations, Family Readiness Centers, training and employment
resources both on and off the installation to form a pool of resources
to support the care of RSMs, their families, and caregivers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Move (transport) and use explosive training devices and other
similar devices as required in and around the installation and to
and from its associated range/training areas.
* Attend AF training classes provided by the USAF EOS and receive a
certificate of competency for use and movement of explosive training
devices at the completion of training.
* Transport students to and from training areas.
* Attend and complete the USAF EOS instructional methods course,
Academic Instructors Course, or appropriate substitute course. The
course consists of approximately two weeks of institutional skills
training designed to indoctrinate new military instructors as well
as a one-year instructor upgrade certification period. Sister
Service instructor courses generally meet the Academic Instructor
Course requirement.
* Receive a Ft Dix range card and act/function in the capacity of
Range Safety Officer (RSO) carrying out all of the associated duties
identified in Ft Dix Pamphlet (PAM) 350-3. Training attendance and
passing a written examination is required.
* Be able to work on complex, combat problems in the field, assessing
dynamic situations, conveying experience, and main points as
outlined in lesson plans to the students.
* Be responsible to setup, use, issue, sign for and inventory training
devices/equipment used during the course and other associated
administrative tasks as assigned.
* Record instructional hours and comply with all rules associated with
the Community College of the Air Force accreditation
policies/procedures, such as evaluations and continuing
educational/developmental requirements (e.g., In-Service Training
briefings except student/facility support, vehicle, and supply
support personnel).
* Complete and document one hundred eighty (180) hours of instruction
within one year of assignment to a USAF EOS course. All instructors
will receive periodic instructor evaluations by USAF EOS staff
pursuant to Community College of the Air Force accreditation policies.
* Go through an initial, customized training course within 60 days of
a new hire at the Expeditionary Center that consists of the
aforementioned, Academic Instructors Course, Ft Dix range control
class, pyrotechnic training, vehicle training, lane of training
practical certification, demonstration/performance exercises,
practice evaluations, shadowing and assisting experienced
instructors prior to assuming primary instructor duties.
* Perform Medical instruction/demonstration and student evaluations as
required by the syllabi and Plan of Instruction (POI).
* Ensure the most current student education and training materials are
used and are provided to each student at the beginning of each
lesson, as required.
* Produce, assemble, and manage student materials as required to
include paper and/or electronic (DVDs, etc.) based training
materials provided by the Government.
* Prepare classroom for instruction and ensure academic equipment,
projectors, televisions, computer learning stations, etc., including
uploading of computer-based training, if applicable, are functional.
* Begin each lesson on time and teach for the prescribed amount of
time IAW the student schedule unless there is an authorized schedule
deviation.
* Provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, and
expert advice to establish, maintain, and improve their respective
areas instruction.
* Perform support/logistics functions arising from preparation for,
execution of, and reconstitution following instruction such as, but
not limited to; transport of instructional materials, setup of
training ranges, in-processing of students, monitor student weapons
cleaning, issue, and turn in training gear, etc.
* Comply with USAF EOS, Community College of the Air Force (CCAF), and
USAF policies, regulations, and instructions as they relate to
instruction and instructor requirements.
Requirements:
* Have a minimum of four (4) years of military experience in a
military career field that is responsible for providing medical
services to deployed forces, such as Independent Duty Medical
Technician (USAF IDMT), Combat Medic, or U.S.N Corpsman (HM) with
deployed experience supporting combat forces.
* Have either prior, military deployed experience in environment
ranging from uncertain or hostile environments or federal and/or
state agency relevant experience in skills required to operate and
survive in multiple environments.
* Meet one of the below qualifications:
1. licensed paramedic (state or national)
2. Medical Doctor (MD)
3. Physicians Assistant (PA)
4. Registered Nurse (RN)
* Current (within the last 12 months) Army Military Occupational
Specialty 68W, Health Care Specialist; or 18D, Special Operations
Medical Sergeant.
* Maintain a certificate from the National Registry of Emergency
Medical Technicians or equivalent credentialing agency. The
certificate shall be current and in good standing. This type of
certification is recognized for individuals who have completed EMT
or advanced medical training. Instructors may be required to show
evidence of National Registry certificate, and/or proof of current
medical certification.
* Have the capability to possess a firearm(s) pursuant to Title 18
U.S.C. 922 and shall annually submit a Department of Defense (DD)
Form 2760, Qualification to Possess Firearms or Ammunition.
* Have the mental and physical capacity to instruct, qualify on, and
maintain currency in the Air Force small arms qualification course
of fire for handgun and rifle for arming group A, B, or C as
outlined in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 36-2655. Select individuals may
qualify on Air Force crew served weapons depending on availability
and need for the qualification.
* Have currentcertifications from the American Heart Association or
equivalent and shall have the capability to recognize the signs and
symptoms requiring first aid and perform basic first aid,
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and use an automated external
defibrillator (AED) as well as show proof of current training on AED.
* Have a valid state drivers license and be capable of driving
government furnished vehicles in day and night conditions, vehicles
including but not limited to; 15 passenger vans, trucks, High
Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV/ M998-M1114), 44
passenger bus, 2.5-ton Light Medium Tactical Vehicle (LMTV) military
truck, and Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP). The USAF will
provide specific training and government licensing once qualified on
vehicles.
* Have proficiency in use of the following computer programs: MS
Office Suite (e.g., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) Adobe
Acrobat
