37. Estimator / Project Manager – Electrical Construction - San Jose, CA
A growing electrical construction contractor in the Bay Area is seeking an Estimator / Project Manager to join its team in a unique hybrid role that blends preconstruction estimating responsibilities with hands-on project execution and client management.
Unlike traditional roles that separate estimating from operations, this opportunity offers direct involvement throughout the full lifecycle of electrical construction projects — from bid and budgeting through execution, closeout, and customer relationship management.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bid proposals for electrical construction projects
Review plans, specifications, and bid documents to identify project scope and risk
Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing for labor, materials, and equipment

Contribute to process improvements and operational best practices
Support business growth through responsiveness, accountability, and customer service

What Makes This Opportunity Different
This position offers significantly more involvement and ownership across the full project lifecycle than is typical within many electrical contractors. Rather than being siloed into a single function, this role provides the opportunity to stay engaged from initial client conversations and estimating through project execution and final delivery.
