Responsibilities:


Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs to ensure that each facility is properly maintained.


10+ years of experience in Maintenance Field.

Required to lift a minimum of 75LBS when necessary. 

Must be able to crawl into access ports and around fixed machinery

Must be able to pass background check, no criminal history.

Must provide references.

4+ year of experience in carpentry; including but not limited to replacing doors, counter tops, and drywall.

Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems. HVAC universal license 5+ years of experience preferred.

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and extend the working life of each component.

Proven use of estimating skills to calculate sizes, distances and quantities of material, and labor hours.

4+ years of experience in plumbing; diagnosing, repairing and/or replacement of plumbing fixtures.

4+ years of experience in electrical; replacing electrical sockets, installing ceiling fans, replacing parts on appliances.

Scope of Work:


The purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operation of the Engineering Design team, which has responsibility for the engineering design and project management of the US Air Force Academy’s (USAFA) facility and infrastructure construction program.  This construction program exceeds $80 million in annual renovation, sustainment, maintenance, repair, and new construction projects.  These projects require collaboration with other sections/divisions/organizations including, Portfolio Optimization (planning & programming), Construction Management, CADD/GIS, Installation Management, Operations & Maintenance, Base Contracting, and other stakeholders. Includes a wide variety of duties related to both managing personnel (7 engineers, 2 architects, 1 interior designer, and 1 cost estimator) within the organization, ensuring completion of planned design projects, meeting monthly/annual performance standards, and design management as outlined in the USAFA Performance Work Statement (PWS).


Responsibilities:


 Must maintain a strong and productive relationship with the USAFA’s contracting office and government engineering counterparts to ensure smooth execution of projects.  

 Provides management oversight of projects to include, managing the design program, solving construction related problems, and performing complete reviews of design packages and contract modifications prior to submittal to Contracting for execution. 

 Ensures projects are identified, validated, approved, designed, and if funded, constructed.  

Works with Portfolio Optimization department to ensure designs meet USAFA’s, cultural, environmental, and historic district requirements.  

 Ensures short- and long-term project plans are developed and follow agreed upon strategies to meet the needs of USAFA.  Ensures that project designs meet energy conservation, sustainability and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements.  

 Oversees Architect-Engineer (AE) design program and the preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) for the AE designs and construction projects.  

 Ensures all work is performed in accordance with local Project Management Plans (PMPs), Quality Management Plans (QMPs), Standard Operating procedures (SOPs), and US Air Force requirements.

 Managing department personnel ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with PWS requirements.  Ensures project execution in accordance with the government’s budget and timelines.  

 Responsible for updating base leadership on design progress, construction execution and project modifications. Responsible for design/construction quality. 

 Coordinates support with other Civil Engineering divisions/sections.  

 Signs off on engineering project plans.  

 Ensures that all staff follow the latest documents and templates. 

 Manages, develops, and revises SOPs, project design templates, PMPs, QMPs, etc., as needed for the Engineering Design Department. 

 Provides the Civil Engineering Manager with reports on project status upon request.  

 Works with civil engineering personnel to create process improvements.  

 Promotes improvements in customer service and satisfaction.  

 Completes additional duties in direct support of departmental mission requirements as directed by the Civil Engineering Manager. 

Minimum Requirements:


Must be vaccinated in accordance with all Executive Orders, Government mandates or requirements, contractual requirements, and company policy

Minimum of 10 years’ experience with facilities/infrastructure design and construction with experience as an engineering manager or engineering supervisor.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).  Understand, read, write, and speak fluent English.

Bachelor of Science degree Engineering or Architecture from an accredited institution. 

Master of Science in Engineering Management preferred.

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licensed in the State of Colorado, or if registered in another state, able to obtain reciprocity registration for Colorado within six months.

Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License. 

Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check. 

Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check. 

Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.

The Electronic Warfare Electronic Technician I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. This person works under close supervision receiving technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technician. Work is checked frequently for accuracy.

Applies technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following relevant Work Instructions and direction from higher-level technicians.

Operates systems IAW applicable Work Instructions under supervision.

Receives technical guidance, as required, from section lead, supervisor, or higher-level technician.

Assists in organizational and intermediate-level trouble shooting and repair of equipment under supervision.

Performs corrosion control on equipment.

When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Must cease work and notify lead, supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions.

Must successfully complete all assigned training and ensure its entry into their training jacket, to include but not limited to monthly CTTR training assigned in SharePoint, government assigned training in TWMS, and all other non-recurring training as assigned.

Must accurately document work performed in IEMS.

Work is scheduled by a section lead, a supervisor, or a manager based on mission schedule and fleet requirements.

Mission support may require shifting of schedules to accommodate fleet readiness and to ensure proper crew rest.

The primary purpose of the position is to assist in the leadership/training of Dining Facility (DFAC) personnel in their daily functions of a dining facility, ensuring all standards are met or exceeded in order to provide quality service to the SOUTHCOM LOGCAP V contract in Soto Cano, Honduras.


Responsibilities:


Independently prepare in large quantities, by various methods of cooking, meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, seasons and cooks all cuts of various meats, fish and poultry, boils, steams or fry’s vegetables, makes gravies, soups, sauces, roasts, meat pies, fricassees, casseroles, and stews. 

Participates in Hot and Cold Food Production, Recipe Compliance and assures adherence to Food Production, Service, Sanitation Standards. 

Assist in providing oversight, supervision, leadership training, and direction to all company food service employees.

Assist in the preparation of menu items according to recipes and other tasks for the kitchen and dining room operations in the DFAC on their assigned shift, immediately correcting deficiencies as noted. 

Review Preventive Medicine and QA/QC Inspections with DFAC Manager, correcting all documented deficiencies. 

Assure compliance with Military & Company Policies and Procedures.

Display good customer relation skills and take initiative to greet guests in a friendly manner.

Display good leadership skills and successfully lead the team during shifts.

Ensure proper receipt, storage, inventory, and security of all subsistence delivered to DFAC.

Maintains all equipment and cooking utensils at maximum efficiency. 

Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:


This position must have three (3) years of experience working in a commercial or military kitchen.

Successful completion of training on the safe use of chemicals, understanding of manufacturer’s product labels, and information contained on material safety data sheets (MSDSs) IAW Title 29, Code of Federal Regulation Part 1910.1200 is required. Must demonstrate the ability to prepare food that is compliant with DoD 1338.10-M. 

Must possess the ability to clean food preparation areas IAW MIL-STB-3006C. Licenses/Certifications: Must be capable of completing the certification training IAW the TB Med 530–Tri Service Food Code. Possess and maintain ServSafe certification. Manager Certification preferred.

Proficient computer skills to include the use of office automation software (MS Windows, MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) required. 

Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License as required by the position. 

Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.

Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening to include Motor Vehicle Record check.

Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.

The worker must be able to endure the conditions of and be able to work in a commercial kitchen environment (extreme heat/cold etc.). Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, crawling, reaching, and balancing. Scope of Work:


The Electronic Warfare Electronic Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.


 


Responsibilities:


Performs systems maintenance and operations as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.  

Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents following relevant Work Instructions and direction from higher-level technicians.

As a technician/Operator, applies technical knowledge in troubleshooting, isolating malfunctions, repairing to the component level, and incorporating engineering changes.

Work typically requires some understanding of the interrelationships of analog, digital, mechanical, network, and RF operating system diagnostics and circuits.

Makes circuit analyses, calculating waveforms, and tracing relationships in signal flow.

Uses complex test instruments such as pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, distortion analyzers, and computer analytical equipment.

Provides technical guidance to lower level technicians.

Operates and maintains systems IAW applicable Work Instructions.

Receives technical guidance in performance of assigned tasks, as required, from section lead, supervisor, or higher-level technician.

Provides technical guidance and directs lower-level technicians to complete assigned tasks.

Performs organizational and intermediate-level trouble shooting and repair of equipment.

Performs corrosion control on equipment.

Work may be reviewed by section lead, supervisor, or manager for compliance with accepted practices.

When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Must cease work and notify lead, supervisor, or manager of all unsafe conditions.

Must successfully complete all assigned training and ensure its entry into their training jacket, to include but not limited to monthly CTTR training assigned in SharePoint, government assigned training in TWMS, and all other non-recurring training as assigned.

Must accurately document work performed in IEMS.

May be required to travel up to 50% in performance of work, government Joint Travel Regulations (JTR) are applicable to all travel.

Work is scheduled by a section lead, a supervisor, or a manager based on mission schedule and fleet requirements.

Mission support may require shifting of schedules to accommodate fleet readiness and to ensure proper crew rest.

Other duties may be assigned by a section lead, a manager, or supervisor.

 


Minimum Requirements:


High School Diploma 

Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Four years’ related experience involved in four (4) or more of the following electronic systems:

Digital/analog signal processing;

Synchro-servo circuits;

Radar and radar theory;

High voltage power supplies;

Test Equipment;

Optical equipment;

RF signal processing;

The Communications Technician III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering; changes. Develops wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and engineering specifications for system or equipment modifications or expansion.

Recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.

Plans, directs, and records periodic testing.

Sets up standard test apparatus or devises test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability.

Analyzes and interprets test data.

Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.

Writes technical reports and develops charts, graphs, and schematics to describe and illustrate system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations for consideration by engineers in broader determinations affecting systems design and laboratory procedures.

Diagnoses cause of electronic or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and performs preventative and corrective maintenance.

May assemble experimental circuitry or complete prototype model according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronic systems and components.

May operate bench lathes, drills, or other machine tools to fabricate parts, such as coils, terminal boards, and chassis.

Scope of Work:


The purpose of this position is to apply theory and principles of engineering in overseeing construction and maintenance of structures and facilities under construction, repair, or renovation at the United States Air Force Academy.


Responsibilities:


Incumbent is responsible for all phases of construction oversight and inspection, reporting, review of design documents, as-built drawings and contractor submittals.

Inspect and oversee construction work to ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.

Observe work in progress to ensure that procedures followed, and materials used conform to specifications.

Examine quality of finished installations for conformity to standard and approve installation.

Minimum Requirements:

May be responsible for the preparation and serving of any aspect of the meals.

Minimum Requirements:


This position must have three (3) years of experience working in a commercial or military kitchen. 

Knowledge of Military (Tri – Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and policies governing, at a minimum, food storage, preparation, and serving.

Knowledge of AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TM 4-41.11 and TM 4-41.12

Must possess the ability to clean food preparation areas IAW MIL-STB-3006C. Licenses/Certifications: Must be capable of completing the certification training IAW the TB Med 530–Tri Service Food Code. Possess or be able to obtain ServSafe certification.

Successful completion of training on the safe use of chemicals, understanding of manufacturer’s product labels, and information contained on material safety data sheets (MSDSs) IAW Title 29, Code of Federal Regulation Part 1910.1200 is required. Must demonstrate the ability to prepare food that is compliant with DoD 1338.10-M. 

Must satisfactorily complete medical clearance requirements.

The worker must be able to endure the conditions of and be able to work in a commercial kitchen environment (extreme heat/cold etc.). Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, crawling, reaching, and balancing. Physically fit to bend, stoop, and lift in awkward positions and able to lift up to 60 lbs.

Minimum Requirements:


This position must have 3 years of experience working in a commercial or military kitchen. 

Previous leadership experience preferred. 

Previously held leadership role in DFAC style food service operation preferred.

Knowledge of Military (Tri – Service Food Code/TB Med 530) regulations and policies governing, at a minimum, food storage, preparation, and serving.

Knowledge of AR 30-22, DA PAM 30-22, TM 4-41.11 and TM 4-41.12

Must possess the ability to clean food preparation areas IAW MIL-STB-3006C. Licenses/Certifications: Must be capable of completing the certification training IAW the TB Med 530–Tri Service Food Code. Possess or be able to obtain ServSafe certification. Manager Certification preferred.

Successful completion of training on the safe use of chemicals, understanding of manufacturer’s product labels, and information contained on material safety data sheets (MSDSs) IAW Title 29, Code of Federal Regulation Part 1910.1200 is required. Must demonstrate the ability to prepare food that is compliant with DoD 1338.10-M. 

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. 

Must satisfactorily complete medical clearance requirements.

The worker must be able to endure the conditions of and be able to work in a commercial kitchen environment (extreme heat/cold etc.). Duties will require frequent periods of sitting, standing, kneeling, walking, crouching, crawling, reaching, and balancing. Scope of Work:


As part of the THTBC/KIRA Compliance Team, the Corporate EHS Manager is responsible for partnering with site level operations teams to execute corporate health and safety policies and ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities:


Standardize environmental, health, and safety (EHS) programs across all programs and sites using THTBC/KIRA’s established policies and procedures.

Train operations leaders and site safety professionals in company health and safety policies.

Assist and give direction to teams in incorporating appropriate EHS standards at their site.

Identify best practices and incorporate them into company standards to continuously improve company policies.

Update policies and procedures as needed.

Communicate safety team expectations and give frequent and appropriate guidance and feedback.

Audit site EHS performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, THTBC/KIRA practices, and EHS standards and regulations, and identify a plan to address deficiencies.

Analyze safety metrics. Review incidents weekly and monthly to discover trends and propose action plans.

Engage site Project Managers and Safety Managers to drive actions to achieve incident reduction.

Oversee and manage all OSHA and incident reporting.

Compiles and works with Compliance to analyze incident data to identify root causes and trends that can adversely impact workers compensation costs; and assists with formulating Corrective Action Plans in conjunction with appropriate management to help reduce incident rates and lower insurance related costs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 




Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of increasing responsibilities in safety and/or environmental programs in manufacturing, production, or service operations. Government contracting a plus.

Ability to make independent, fact-based decisions in a quick and responsive manner with little to no supervision. Proven knowledge in all aspects of safety, environmental and ergonomics.

Effective communication skills with the ability to send clear, concise and consistent messages both verbally and written.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook 365, SharePoint, and Maximo is required.



 


Preferred Requirements:

BS/BA in Safety, Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferred.

Experience in ISO certification and training.

Under the direction of the Heavy Equipment Supervisor, this position will assemble rigging to lift and move equipment or material in a manufacturing plan or aerospace facility that is highly secure yet user friendly and versatile; able to adapt with the evolving needs of the organization. 


 


Responsibilities:


Operate mobile hydraulic cranes and related heavy equipment (e.g. Aerial lifts, boom and articulating, forklifts larger than 16,000 lbs., and tractor trailers).

Perform crane operations in proximity to or lifting flight hardware.

Operate proof load test equipment in the testing of shackles and slings. 

Proof load cranes from 8.5 ton to 450 ton, and forklifts from 3,000 lbs. to 50,000 lbs. capacity.

Proof load aerial lifts, boom and articulating.

Assemble rigging to lift and move equipment / material.

Selects cables, ropes, pulley, winches, blocks and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved, attach pulley and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings and gin pole booms with bolts / clamps.

Attach load with grappling device such as loops, wires, ropes and chains to crane hook.

Provide direction to Crane operator or hoisting engineer engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and material handling.

Familiar with using hand signals, handheld radios, or telephone.

Manages set up, braces and rigs hoisting equipment using power tools and hand wrenches, splices rope and wire cables.

Must maintain security clearance, area permit(s), licenses, certifications, etc. required for performance of assigned tasks.

Ability to interface with various levels of personnel in a multi-cultural, team- oriented environment.

Scope of Work:


The Electronic Technician Journeyman will provide support to NASA’s sounding rocket experiments.


 


Responsibilities:


Responsible for performing routine, non‐routine, and complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project

May train and be assisted by lower level technicians

Work on various types of electronic equipment and related devices by performing one or a combination of the following: installing, maintaining, repairing, overhauling, troubleshooting, modifying, constructing, and testing

Work requires practical application of technical knowledge of electronic principles, ability to determine malfunctions, and skill to put equipment in required operating condition.

Work closely with telemetry engineers building up airborne telemetry system, including payload construction, wire harnesses, test cables for component, circuit card assembly, and deck testing

Direct and oversee packing and unpacking of payloads and required equipment for field operations and escort payloads to the field for testing, build‐up, and launch

Tasks will involve acceptance and qualification testing of all types of telemetry components

Operate and perform preventative maintenance on telemetry ground station equipment during component and payload checks both at Building F–10 and remote stations

Perform other related duties as assigned or required

 


Minimum Requirements:


Minimum 8 years of general experience, 6 years as an electronic technician or a total of 10 years of general electronic experience 

Associate Degree in Electronic Technology or equivalent military/trade school training. 

Technical knowledge of electronic principles and ability to use schematics in such areas as drafting, designing, equipment construction, and troubleshooting

Knowledge and understanding of airborne telemetry systems including wiring, installation of payload components, performance of initial payload checks, and ground station pre‐launch testing and launch support

Operational knowledge of a wide variety of electronic test equipment to support component / payload testing and checkout of prototype electronic instrumentation

Training or certification in the following may be required:

Crimp, Cable, and Harness Certification per NASA‐STD‐8739.4 w/Change 6

Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Control per GPR 8730.6A

Mate / Demate per NASA‐STD‐8739.4 w/Change 6

General Safety Awareness, IT Security, Environmental Compliance, and Personnel Safety and Health

Hazardous Materials Handlers (see Safety and Health Plan)

Ordnance / Pyrotechnics Certification per GSFC / WFF 800‐PG‐8715.0.2C

The Electronics Warfare Electronic Technician II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician.

Performs systems maintenance and operations as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.  

Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents following relevant Work Instructions and direction from higher-level technicians.

As a technician/Operator, applies technical knowledge in troubleshooting, isolating malfunctions, repairing to the component level, and incorporating engineering changes.

Work typically requires some understanding of the interrelationships of analog, digital, mechanical, network, and RF operating system diagnostics and circuits.

Makes circuit analyses, calculating waveforms, and tracing relationships in signal flow.

Uses complex test instruments such as pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, distortion analyzers, and computer analytical equipment.

Provides technical guidance to lower level technicians.

The Electronics Technician Maintenance III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering, changes. Work typically requires an understanding of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.


 


Responsibilities:


Performs systems maintenance and operations as assigned by Lead, Supervisor, or Manager IAW all applicable Work Instructions and SOP.

Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved, by interpreting manufacturer’s manuals or similar documents.

Initiates and or assists in implementing Engineering Changes, Configuration Management, Job Qualification Standards (JQS), Work Instructions (WI), and procedures.

As a senior technician/Operator, applies advanced technical knowledge in complex troubleshooting, isolating malfunctions, repairing to the component level, and incorporating engineering changes.

Work typically requires detailed understanding of the interrelationships of analog, digital, mechanical, network, and RF operating system diagnostics and circuits.

Exercises independent judgment on tasks such as making circuit analyses, calculating waveforms, and tracing relationships in signal flow.

Uses complex test instruments such as pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, distortion analyzers, computer analytical equipment, time domain reflectometers, bit error rate testers, network analyzers.

Trains lower-level technicians on the use of new and complex test equipment.

Provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians.

Contacts outside agencies and companies in cases were advance technical difficulties require additional information or assistance, adhering to security protocols.

The senior Technician III at BT-11 will perform site supervisory function, such as liaison with military personnel, safety issues, and directing work of all contractor site personnel.

Responsibilities:


Primary duties are to independently and with minimal direction operate conventional and CNC equipment and machine tools. This will include producing precision complex prototype pieces that meet precise specifications from drawings and flight hardware per project requirements.

Must be able to accurately use measuring equipment; geometric dimensioning and tolerancing using precision equipment, and read, interpret and follow written procedures and simple technical drawings and other routine tasks as directed by lead personnel or supervision. May also be requested to train entry level technicians as directed and support fabrication.

Predominantly experienced in Mastercam and Vericut.

Responsibilities:


The incumbent assists in weighing, pricing and wrapping selected foods on plates, trays and in bags, prepares food displays in counter cases and other display units, greets customers as they arrive at service counter, takes special orders, and answers basic customer questions about specialty foods.

Stores cleaned items and cleaning material. Collects soiled dishes, scrapes, and soaks items. Disposes of food wastes in garbage disposal or trash receptacle. Perform routine scheduled maintenance

Scope of Work:


Provides housing information to an organization’s employees moving to a new location.    


 


Responsibilities:


Contacts individuals or organizations such as landlords, real estate agents, mobile home dealers, trailer court managers and Chamber of Commerce by phone and correspondence to obtain listings of rental or sale properties, possible future prospects of housing, and to develop a working relationship with the housing referral service.   

Compiles listings of houses, apartments and mobile homes which may be rented and properties which may be purchased.  Periodically, communicates with contacts to update listings.  

Ensures that property owners are in compliance with nondiscrimination policy.  

Counsels applicants with regard to special circumstances, e.g. medical or financial hardships, and availability of housing that will meet applicants’ needs.  

Maintains daily records of office activities (including number of applicants, number of applicants placed, and agents solicited or listed; schedules appointments for housing inspectors; prepares reports as required; and replies to complaints, investigations and letters of inquiry.

Performs other duties as assigned.

 


Minimum Requirements:

Three  (3) years experience in real estate office and/or military housing office.

Real estate license preferred

Responsibilities:


Handling refrigerant, working with natural/propane gas, basic pipe-fitting, soldering/brazing, chillers (scroll, screw, reciprocating and centrifugal), walk-ins, reach-ins, package and split-system A/C’s, ice-machines, air handlers, cooling towers, exhaust fans, make-up air (MUA) units, return fans, variable air volume (VAV’s), re-heat coils, ductwork, heat-pumps, furnaces, boilers (hot water and steam), converters – high temp hot water (HTHW), medium temp hot water (MTHW), domestic hot water (DMHW), unit heaters (electric, gas fired, and hydronic) pumps, motors, motor starters, variable frequency drives (VFD’s) motor control centers (MCC’s), electrical disconnects, air compressors, air driers, electronic/pneumatic controllers , etc. 

Work from verbal or written instructions, sketches, diagrams, schematics, blueprints, vendor manuals and must comply with all federal, Air Force, and county facility codes and specifications. 

Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to real property equipment, to include replacement. 

Properly fill out all necessary paperwork related to work performed. Perform cleaning and housekeeping required in performance of normal maintenance and repair activities.

The Instrumentation Technician III applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems that

Scope of Work:


A Lineman performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment vital to the Electrical Distribution System on Fort Carson. The Lineman will perform maintenance and repair on the High Voltage distribution overhead and underground systems. Work involves most of the following: testing of electrical systems for the integrity and proper function, repair and maintenance of Transformers, Electrical Switches, Cables, Wires and Electrical Vaults. Troubleshooting and making repairs when large power interruptions occur as well as preventing such outages from occurring. Working from blueprints, drawings and maps; locate and diagnose trouble in the electrical systems or equipment using a variety of electricians hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. The Lineman works with high voltage electricity and must thoroughly understand OSHA regulations and have an in-depth knowledge of electrical safety. Depending on the location and source of the problems they have to deal with, Lineman may be required to work not only indoors but outdoors as well as and in extreme conditions, confined spaces and at excessive heights. This position requires being on a rotating on call schedule for 24/7 emergency repairs.


Minimum Requirements:


Successful candidate must have completed a formal journey lineman apprenticeship and carry a Journeyman Lineman Certification. Be able to demonstrate proficiency and expertise in the field and be able to troubleshoot problems in the field during power outages, to limit the time of the power outage.

Successful candidate must be capable of working safely on all high voltage systems, 600 volts and up, both above ground and underground. This is accomplished either by equipment such as a Bucket Lift or may be required to use Pole Climbing Equipment.

Successful candidate must be capable of and proficient at using and working from Pole Climbing Equipment.

Be capable of working on overhead lighting and lighting circuits.

Must have a Valid CO Commercial Driver’s License Class B or higher.

Mission Coordinator – The Mission Coordinator has been delegated the direct authority of the Contract Site Manager for the accomplishment of Fallon Tactical Training Range (FTTR) Tactical Combat Training System (TCTS)/Electronic Warfare (EW) supported missions/operations and is the final   authority for configuration changes/deviations from planned support, resolving conflicts, and deciding priorities in the absence of the  Operations Director.  


The Mission Coordinator is the single point of contact providing the interface between the Fallon Site Manager/Operations Director, and the War Fighter customer during missions in progress and during the absence of the government Operations Director.   The Mission Coordinator is responsible for the generation and dissemination of the TCTS Mission Participants Lineup Form (with Communications Plan attached).    The Mission Coordinator also conducts Pre-op/post-op briefings when required.   The Mission Coordinator may support many operations at various stages concurrently.  Mission Coordinators provide   decision-making authority for local requirements.


Responsibilities:


Supports planning and coordination for agencies participating in or supporting training operations

The Mission Coordinator ensures that each objective of every TCTS scheduled mission is achieved to the satisfaction of customers including military aviators, other military units, squadron commanders, and stakeholders of Inter Deployment Training Cycle.

Primary responsibilities are to coordinate range resources, monitor mission progress, reconstruct debriefs, and document range utilization.

Coordinate all actions with the government Operations Director and/or designated military personnel in support of fleet readiness and Testing and Evaluation (T & E).  Mission coordination/liaison functions include, but are not limited to, aircrew liaison, mission data preparation and dissemination, ensuring mission support personnel and systems are ready to support the daily range schedule (DRS), monitoring and resolving problems that may occur to minimize impact to training, managing debrief assets to ensure expeditious aircrew debriefings, and responding to other aircrew requests for support.Maintain daily contact with various military, government civilian personnel, and contractors for the purpose of identifying mission requirements, disseminating critical range information, resolving scheduling conflicts, prioritizing user requests, solving daily user problems associated with scheduling changes, and resolving detailed issues regarding Special Use Airspace boundaries and altitudes.

Coordinate with the Operations Director, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) and visiting squadrons, to identify TCTS/EW systems Rules of Engagement (ROE).

Coordinate and identify all requirements necessary to support scheduled TCTS/EW missions such as, scheduling down time for system sites, radiate times, schedule lunch breaks for range personnel, directing efforts of operations/maintenance times of systems, radio frequencies on the FTTR and provide liaison for testing and training events.

Ensure that all planning and coordination have been completed with each unit requesting range resources.

Conduct mission check-ins of participating aircraft and verify mission essential information to ensure accurate live representation and reconstruction of training event.  Acknowledge and process all applicable mission check-in/check-out calls and/or airborne communications when government/military personnel are not present.

Coordinate with contract watch station personnel during missions.

Assist with communications and coordination in the event of an aircraft or other emergency.

Coordinate the collection and dissemination of discrepancy/malfunction reports and submit them to the Joint Control Facility (JCF) Operations Manager and NSWC for review and appropriate follow-up action.

Perform pre-exercise/mission liaison with Navy Air Traffic Control Agency, the Range Operations Department, and other agencies IAW NAVSTKAIRWARCENINST 3752.1 (series).

Perform system checks on all radio equipment prior to the first scheduled mission of the day.

Provide real-time coordination for Long Range Strikes originating from Sea Based Aircraft Carriers.   

Schedule and coordinate the use of debriefing facilities.

Provide debrief data to the Naval Aviation Warfighting Development Center (NAWDC) overall instructor or squadron representative, and solicit input for debrief/replay to squadrons and support agencies.

Provide the EW Operator with the specific requirements of the scheduled mission.   Following each event, prepare the Scheduled Debrief room consoles for returning aircrews and instructors.

Ensure closure of every training mission by archiving data, supporting debriefs, delivering reports and securing mission equipment.

Coordinate with appropriate maintenance technicians to affect repair of TCTS Instrumentation Systems, consoles, radios, video recorders and other equipment.

Interact with Desert Control on all TCTS supported missions concerning airspace restrictions, spill-outs, spill-ins, and Visual Flight Rules (VFR) traffic to ensure that aircrews in the Joint Control Facility (JCF) and in the working areas are aware of possible conflicts with those aircraft, which is essential to safety of flight.

Assist in mission planning/coordination with Top Gun, NAWDC, E-2 Deployable Readiness Trainer (EDRT) and EP-3 Mission Avionic System Trainer (MAST).

Verify and input radio frequencies using the Maintenance Application Terminals (MAT).

Configure each Joint Display System (JDS) console to correct background map using UNIX commands.

Provide technical guidance and training to fellow Mission Coordinators and/or technicians as needed.

Understand and observe all safety practices.

Follow all applicable FTTR Plans, Range Operating Instructions (ROIs) and Standard Operating Procedures.

Maintain a positive workplace environment and promote increased customer satisfaction.

Minimum Requirements:


Six years’ experience as Air Intercept Controller or Tactical Aircraft Aircrew member

Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited college or university.  Experience may be used in lieu of education requirement. 

General knowledge of and ability to perform user functions of Windows based applications such as Windows Office Suite to include basic functionality of Microsoft (MS) Word and MS Excel Ability to work well in a team.

Scope of Work:


Plan, organize, direct and perform Pest Control Program.  Planning includes a five year pest control plan for the entire Rock Island Arsenal.   


Responsibilities:


Determine approaches, methods and courses such as whether to utilize Integrated Pest Management or Chemical Control Plan and maintain a complete Mosquito Abatement Program.

Prepare a schedule and make specifications, graphs for outside contractors and oversee work performed and ensure conformance of all regulations.  

Supervise temporary employees hired for pest control or lawn care and prepare schedules and specifications.  

Estimate labor hours and material for major jobs.        

Conform to Federal Game Reserve regulations for preserving wildlife (deer, birds of prey, raccoons, etc.) and endangered species (two species of mussels, Plains Hognose snake, bald eagle).  

Trap and relocate wild animals (skunks, raccoons, groundhogs, etc.).  

Trap or snare and dispose of diseased animals (distemper, rabies) using snares and nets and transporting to proper authorities for humane disposal.  

Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on all escape capsules and other self contained breathing apparatus used by employees.  

Sanitize negative pressure respirators and life lines equipment.  

Clean up hazardous material spills and properly dispose of such materials.

Keep all records of disposal of hazardous material.  

Operate standard pest control equipment, including calibration.  

Operate JLG lift, tractors and 1 ½ ton truck.

 Make all inspections of general pests and treat.  

Inspect, graph and draw up specifications for treating all buildings for termites.  

Inspect all trees and shrubs for insects and disease.

Inspect dikes and grounds for groundhog and mole damage and treat same.  

Inspect all buildings for rodent and animal damage.  

Inspect ditches, ponds, and New Jersey light traps for mosquito larvae and count adults from traps to determine treating.        

Order all chemicals and equipment for effective program.  

Keep inventory of chemicals and equipment and label all chemicals and MSDSs with hazardous material identification sticker.  

Conduct liaison with Army Medical department for disease vectors.  

Work with state and federal officials on quarantine problems and treat.  

Maintain records of all inspections.  

Spray and apply herbicides for lawns, grounds and unimproved areas.  

Operate independently and provide technical guidance to lower level workers.

Performs other related duties as required.

 


Minimum Requirements:


Must be vaccinated in accordance with all Executive Orders, Government mandates or requirements, contractual requirements, and company policy.

Requires minimum eight years certified state and federal, experience in pest and herbicide control and management.

Must be State of Illinois certified in the following pest control categories/subcategories:

Turf (Illinois Department of Agriculture, DOD Category 3)

Scope of Work: 


Perform a variety of plumber trade functions at the Rock Island Arsenal property.  


Responsibilities:


Perform repairs and preventive maintenance to facilities and equipment, to include replacement.  

Repair and maintain plumbing systems according to specifications and plumbing codes, studies building plans and working drawings to determine work aids required, and sequence of installations.   

Replace washers, mend broken pipes, and open clogged drains.   

Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvent, and caulking.   

Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and fixtures, such as sinks, toilets and tubs, using hand and power tools.   

Study building plan and inspect structure to determine required materials and equipment and sequence of pipe installations.   

Cut opening in structures to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.   

Locate and mark position of pipe installations and passage holes in structures, using measuring instruments, such as ruler and level.   

Cut, threads, and bends pipe to required angle, using pipe cutters, pipe-threading machine, and pipe bending machine.   

Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.   

Join pipe by use of screws, bolts, fittings, solder, plastic solvent, and caulks joints, fills pipe system with water or air and reads pressure gauges to determine whether system is leaking, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners. 

Perform cleaning and housekeeping required in the performance of normal maintenance activities.  

Maintains accountability of all issued tools. 

Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Minimum Requirements:


In general, the work of the plumber requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.

Four (4) years’ experience as a journeyman. 

Must possess a plumber’s license 

Backflow certification preferred.
