Scope of Work:


The purpose of this position is to oversee the overall operation of the Engineering Design team, which has responsibility for the engineering design and project management of the US Air Force Academy’s (USAFA) facility and infrastructure construction program.  This construction program exceeds $80 million in annual renovation, sustainment, maintenance, repair, and new construction projects.  These projects require collaboration with other sections/divisions/organizations including, Portfolio Optimization (planning & programming), Construction Management, CADD/GIS, Installation Management, Operations & Maintenance, Base Contracting, and other stakeholders. Includes a wide variety of duties related to both managing personnel (7 engineers, 2 architects, 1 interior designer, and 1 cost estimator) within the organization, ensuring completion of planned design projects, meeting monthly/annual performance standards, and design management as outlined in the USAFA Performance Work Statement (PWS).


Responsibilities:


 Must maintain a strong and productive relationship with the USAFA’s contracting office and government engineering counterparts to ensure smooth execution of projects.  

 Provides management oversight of projects to include, managing the design program, solving construction related problems, and performing complete reviews of design packages and contract modifications prior to submittal to Contracting for execution. 

 Ensures projects are identified, validated, approved, designed, and if funded, constructed.  

Works with Portfolio Optimization department to ensure designs meet USAFA’s, cultural, environmental, and historic district requirements.  

 Ensures short- and long-term project plans are developed and follow agreed upon strategies to meet the needs of USAFA.  Ensures that project designs meet energy conservation, sustainability and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) requirements.  

 Oversees Architect-Engineer (AE) design program and the preparation of Statements of Work (SOWs) for the AE designs and construction projects.  

 Ensures all work is performed in accordance with local Project Management Plans (PMPs), Quality Management Plans (QMPs), Standard Operating procedures (SOPs), and US Air Force requirements.

 Managing department personnel ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with PWS requirements.  Ensures project execution in accordance with the government’s budget and timelines.  

 Responsible for updating base leadership on design progress, construction execution and project modifications. Responsible for design/construction quality. 

 Coordinates support with other Civil Engineering divisions/sections.  

 Signs off on engineering project plans.  

 Ensures that all staff follow the latest documents and templates. 

 Manages, develops, and revises SOPs, project design templates, PMPs, QMPs, etc., as needed for the Engineering Design Department. 

 Provides the Civil Engineering Manager with reports on project status upon request.  

 Works with civil engineering personnel to create process improvements.  

 Promotes improvements in customer service and satisfaction.  

 Completes additional duties in direct support of departmental mission requirements as directed by the Civil Engineering Manager. 

Minimum Requirements:


Must be vaccinated in accordance with all Executive Orders, Government mandates or requirements, contractual requirements, and company policy

Minimum of 10 years’ experience with facilities/infrastructure design and construction with experience as an engineering manager or engineering supervisor.

Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.).  Understand, read, write, and speak fluent English.

Bachelor of Science degree Engineering or Architecture from an accredited institution. 

Master of Science in Engineering Management preferred.

Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) licensed in the State of Colorado, or if registered in another state, able to obtain reciprocity registration for Colorado within six months.

Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License. 

Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check. 

Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check. 

Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle.  

Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards and standard safety practices.  

Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.

Must be able to serve on the base’s Emergency Operations Center as a representative for civil engineering.

Scope of Work:  


The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a journeyman electrician at the Rock Island Arsenal property.  


  Responsibilities: 


Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, inspection, calibration, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. 

Install or repair any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment 

Perform preventive maintenance of the electrical system and associated components, e.g., transformers (oil and dry), capacitors, switchgear, breakers, relays, bus ducts, panelboards, power conditioners, emergency power supply units, motor control centers, emergency fixtures and Building Power Systems. 

Shall maintain all electrical equipment IAW, Electrical System Maintenance Procedures. 

Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications. 

Locate and troubleshoot electrical system or equipment, working standard computations 

Use a variety of electrician's hand tools, power tools, measuring, and testing instruments.  

Perform other related duties as assigned.  

Minimum Requirements: 


4 years of experience as a journeyman electrician.  

Must possess a journeyman license or be a certified manufacturer craftsperson. 

Must possess a thorough knowledge of electrical principles, codes, tools, equipment, and the composition, operation, and installation of a variety of electrical systems.    

Must possess the ability to plan, layout and coordinate work details and installations.    

Must possess the ability to use aerial bucket truck, man lifts, and climb ladders.   

May be required to handle or transport hazardous waste and chemicals.  

Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License as required by the position.  

Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy, to operate a company vehicle. 

Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening to include Motor Vehicle Record check.

Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.).  Outside work in winter, summer, rain, sleet, and snow and on uneven terrain – side hills and slopes. 

Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer to include weekends and holidays.  

Physically fit to bend, stoop, and lift in awkward positions and able to lift up to 60 lbs. 

Duties will require frequent periods of bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, and reaching above shoulder level, and kneeling.  Occasionally require periods of crawling and climbing.   

Must possess the ability to work in confined spaces such as manholes, steam tunnels and pump stations.  Must be able to perform On-call duties when and report to work within the required timeframe from notification.

Studies accident hazards and health risks and recommends the necessary preventive or corrective measures and safety equipment.

Minimum Requirements:

BS degree in Occupational Safety and Health or any related discipline (chemistry/biology).

Five to eight years of HSE related experience.

Scope of Work:


The security guard is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and security of assets and others assigned to the site. Duties will include guiding and controlling traffic, provide safe crossing for pedestrians and assist visitors to the facility.  This position is part-time and will have a rotating schedule.  Patrol is performed at various work sites and include patrol inside and outside of the facility.  


Responsibilities:


Performs routine patrol of assigned site to deter, detect, and report security or safety problems, preserve order, and protect property. Patrols may be performed on foot or by vehicle.

Performs patrol duties according to security policies and procedures and the client’s specific instructions.

Corrects unsafe conditions which may pose risk of injury or death to people at the site.

Completes forms and reports which may include Incident Reports, Citizen Arrest Forms, and Criminal Trespass Forms.

Notifies local Emergency response agency in the event of an emergency. Maintains order at the site until their arrival and renders basic first aid or CPR as needed.

Protects the interests and property of client.

Approaches unauthorized persons on site to determine their intentions. Warns persons of rule infractions or violations and follows security policies and procedures.

Monitor traffic flow at assigned location to locate safe gaps through which pedestrians can cross streets, then guide or control the vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Directs actions of pedestrians and traffic at intersections.

Directs movement of traffic through site, using signs, flags, and hand signals.

Assist visitors to the facility.

Performs other incidental and related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:


High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

Six (6) months of experience dealing with the public.

Ability to obtain a Security Guard license issued by the State of Alaska.

Ability to obtain basic first aid and CPR certification within three (3) months of hire.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Ability to use good judgment when making decisions within the scope of authority. 

Establish and maintain working relationships with others on the site.

Ability to work directly with the public, convey information, and assist visitors to the facility.

Knowledge of safety and security issues related to pedestrian and vehicular traffic.  

Ability to meet physical requirements of the position such as walk, stand, step up and down from the curb, run and climb stairs as required.

The Computer Operator V resolves a variety of difficult operating problems (e.g. making unusual equipment connections and rarely used equipment and channel configurations to direct processing through or around problems in equipment, circuits, or channels or reviewing test run requirements and developing unusual system configurations that will allow test programs to process without interfering with ongoing job requirements). 


Responsibilities:


Operates and maintains the Navy Tactical Combat Training System (TCTS) and associated equipment. 

Receives pre-mission data from participating squadrons and inputs into Mission Line Up computer prior to scheduled mission. 

Interacts with Mission Coordinator and/or squadron operations personnel when data is not received in a timely manner. 

Verifies all information received from the squadron is correct and is accurately input into the mission display system. 

Ensures all aircraft are tracking during the mission. 

Assists Range Training Officers with operating mission system computers as needed. 

Sets up mission replays for the aircrew to use for debriefing.  

Performs mission systems and network administration tasks. 

Verifies system operability after maintenance actions. 

Cross-trained and qualified to operate multiple TCTS systems. 

Provides technical guidance to lower-level technicians. 

Will be operationally qualified at designated tech level within 180 days and maintenance qualified within 1 year of hiring.

Must speak, read, and write English.

Must be a USA citizen.

Must have or be eligible to get a Secret security clearance

Must possess a valid state Driver’s License.

Must maintain current CPR/First Aid certification. (Within 6 months of hire date)

Minimum Requirements:


High school diploma or equivalent.

College level or formal training in computer systems is preferred.

Knowledge of military tactical aircraft training systems.

Two years’ experience in computer systems operation and maintenance.

Overview


Provide senior level support for a broad user base across multiple Government agencies and a variety of missions. The primary focus of this requirement is to support the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) services utilized by the majority of the approximately 10,000 users across the country and around the world. The contractor shall provide senior support to design, implement, maintain, and resolve issues related to the Agency’s WLAN and other emerging wireless technologies. SLDCADA is a highly protected yet unclassified, web-based, customizable time and attendance (T&A) and labor reporting system providing a single input screen via a single sign on capability utilizing Common Access Card/Public Key Infrastructure (CAC/PKI)-based login functionality. SLDCADA currently provides T&A capabilities and labor reporting services to more than 60,000 users. SLDCADA is a Java-based application running on an Oracle 19c database platform with production, development, and test environments located in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment.  The Data Center and Cloud Hosting Services (DC2HS) acts as the Navy Cloud Broker, providing an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment to the SLDCADA Program.

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: 


Qualified candidates must possess advanced management and organizational skills and demonstrate extensive experience overseeing, producing, and leading development of all-source predictive, intelligence community/interagency counter terrorism (IC/IA CT) related intelligence products for JSOC exercises.  Minimum 10 years DOD or IA intelligence experience. Senior Project Manager - Integrated Resource Planning

Our Energy Planning and Innovation team is hiring a Senior Project Manager to provide advanced-level project management leadership in the evaluation, planning, and delivery of integrated resource plans for electric, distributed energy resources, and gas supply and generation.   Your role will be pivotal in directing, facilitating, and/or managing these projects (some spanning over the next 30 years).


Responsibilities may include:


Leads the Electric Integrated Resource Planning project team by assembling appropriate technical personnel and assigning roles and responsibilities.

Lead the project team’s delivery of integrated master and resource plans on a twenty to thirty-year planning horizon for multiple energy disciplines including gas and electric supply and generation.

Participate in long-term, strategic Gas and Electric Integrated Resource Planning processes in order to support system plans, system resource adequacy, and delivery.

Collaborates with project sponsors and operating departments to identify project objectives, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables.

Guides and performs strategic analysis for projects with stakeholders including our Electric strategic initiatives around Energy Markets and Transmission, Grid Modernization, Integrated Asset Management, Grid-Scale Distributed Energy and Storage, Sustainable Energy Plan, and Comprehensive Integrated Resources Plan.

Initiates, plans, develops and implements system resource adequacy by participating in the long-term, strategic Gas and Electric Integrated Resource Planning processes.

Directs project meetings and resolves conflicts while gaining team member commitment to project assignments including operations, demand-side management, energy supply, fuel supply, transmission, and finance to develop modeling assumptions and analytical methodology.

Initiates procurement of materials, resources, equipment, and services (i.e., consultant and construction contracts, permitting, inspections, etc.).

Develops, negotiates, and manages contracts with outside consultants to develop necessary studies that will advance the transition toward cleaner energy.

Tracks, monitors, analyzes, and reports projects’ costs, schedule, and scope status (PPTS).

Establishes and monitors project budgets; approves expenditures within limits of budgets.

Drives timely project activities, as well as efficient and cost-effective use of time, materials, and resources.

Identifies, assesses, and resolves critical and potential problems to meet project objectives/deliverables.

Supports and educates internal stakeholders including management, Compliance, Operations, and other departments on resource planning aspects and challenges.

Determines necessary changes or deviations to the project plan.

Prepares formal and informal project communications.

Coordinates close-out activities at project completion.

Who you are…


A bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, business, or related field is highly preferred. 

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly beneficial

Qualified candidates will offer 9+ years of demonstrated experience managing high-level, advanced projects, utilities preferred. Knowledge of electric and natural gas infrastructure resource planning is highly preferred.

Understanding of Energy Markets and Resources.

Previous experience with the development and delivery of Energy Resource Plans.

Must have a sound understanding of the principles of electricity generation, transmission, distribution, and infrastructure.

Must be a strong team player who recognizes how their decisions may impact others and seeks input from other stakeholders across the organization.
