USASOC's Special Operations Mission Training Center (SOMTC) is a state-of-the-art training center designed to train and educate U.S. Army Special Forces, Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Soldiers, provide training on Digital Battle Command Systems, fielded digital simulations and digital simulators to enhance Soldiers' capability to successfully operate in service, joint and USSOCOM digitized environments when deployed and during training.
The Publicly Available Information/Social Media (PAI/SM) Content Developer is responsible for content development and maintenance of the synthetic internet environment used for SOMTC exercises. The PAI/SM Content Developer reports to the PAI/SM Team Lead. Work is reviewed in terms of fulfillment of contract deliverables. This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located at Fort Bragg in North Carolina.
Responsibilities:
Direct and manage team responsible for creating content in a SOMTC provided synthetic internet environment capability that replicates key aspects of the Internet in order to provide training exercise designers, planners and participants with the ability to realistically replicate the unique impacts of online publicly available information (PAI) and other social media into training scenarios.
Maintain any content developed for the synthetic internet environment for re-use in future SOMTC exercise.
Develop social media accounts, news articles and content in the synthetic internet environment aligned with exercise vignettes developed by SOMTC Mission Command Exercise Division.
Use Government provided software tools (Babel X) for collection and analysis of information scraped from the Internet.
Incorporate commanders training objectives and tailor content to the appropriate exercise scenarios.
Participate in exercise In-Progress Reviews (IPRs).
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree in Computer Engineering or a related field. Four (4) years of related military experience may substitute for academic degree.
Graduate from one of the following U.S. military Noncommissioned Officer Education System course: Advanced Noncommissioned Officer course or First Sergeant Course of Sergeants Major Course.
Assignment to Special Operations Forces (Special Forces, Military Information Support Operations, Civil Affairs, Ranger Regiment, Special Operations Aviation, Special Mission units), or assignment to Military Intelligence.
Minimum of three (3) years corporate experience and specific expertise working in the digital domain, using open source, social media and the internet for research, influence, operations, targeting, and analysis. Shall be technology agnostic and have detailed expertise and experience with different technologies.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least one (1) year(s) experience researching, planning, preparing, coordinating, and executing Mission Rehearsal and Command Post Exercises (MRX/CPX).
Experience with Adobe Dreamweaver.
Experience with Babel X.
Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. MK VI Patrol Boat Training shall be conducted in ranges, classroom, and onboard Patrol Boats. Training, length, and number of students will vary based on the current knowledge and experience of the MK VI Patrol Boats Crews assigned to the CORIVFOR. Location of the training will vary based on the CORIVFOR needs. Most of the MK VI Patrol Boat training will be conducted in the Southern California (San Diego, Seal Beach) areas and on the island of Guam.
Training To Be Conducted:

This position is located at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, 2d Reconnaissance Battalion. 2d Reconnaissance Battalion falls under the cooperative command of 2d Marine Division (2d MARDIV), and II Marine Expeditionary Force (II MEF).

• Develop daily operational briefings/reports/information documents pertaining to jump and maintenance operations for approximately 1100 pieces of equipment to include the Cybernetic Parachute Release Systems (CYPRES), Parachutist High Altitude Oxygen System (PHAOS) masks and bottles, Parachutist Oxygen Consoles, pressure gauges/hoses/cylinders, altimeters, parachute harnesses, main and reserve canopies, sewing machines, Helicopter Rope Suspension Training (HRST) equipment, Global Combat Support System (GCSS), and ancillary equipment associated with the Parachutist Individual Equipment Kits (PIEK).
• Shall be capable of basic analytical skills pertaining to airborne and maintenance operations.
• Be able to maintain the Parachutist’s High-Altitude Oxygen System (PHAOS).
• Must be certified to pack and inspect the packing of the following parachute systems in accordance with MCO 3120; MC-7 Parachute System, Multi Mission Parachute Systems (MMPS) (All Configurations), Hand Deployed Pilot Chute, Self-Set Drogue, Static Line Drogue, Double Bag Static Line, Coach Ram Air Parachute Systems, Tandem Offset Resupply Delivery Systems (TORDS), G 12 Cargo Parachute Systems, Low Cost Ariel Delivery Systems (LCADs), JPADS 2K, JPADS ULW, MC-6 Personnel Parachute System, USMC PS2 Parachute System.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and material management. This includes assisting in the scheduling and execution of preventative maintenance, calibrations, and inventory in accordance with MCO 3500.20B and MCO 3120.11 series. This also includes weekly, quarterly and annual formal/informal
• classroom maintenance training on organic equipment in accordance with the Marine Corps Order 3120.11 – Marine Corps Parachuting and Diving Policy and Program Administration.
• Aide in the maintenance of the Paraloft publications library in accordance with Naval Safety Center, US Army and US Marine Corps orders and directives.
• Support drop zone operations for the purpose of assisting in the re-packing of parachutes, and operational duties such as Low-Level Static Line Jump Master, and Military Freefall Jumpmaster
• Be able to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, specifications, drawings, technical data packages, parts breakdowns etc. for the purpose of including this information in briefings, reports or required documents.
Education and Experience:
• Eight (8+) years of experience in US Military parachute rigging, maintenance, training and instruction experience is required. Experience shall include oxygen equipment associated with the high altitude - low opening ((HAHO)/ high altitude - high opening (HALO) operations.
• Must possess current FAA Master Rigger Certification in accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations, Part 65, Subpart F. This certification shall remain current throughout the life of the contract.
• Capable of communicating (oral and written) fluently in English.
• Possess at least a high school or equivalent level degree.
• Capable of operating all Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
• One (1) year minimum experience working with the basic maintenance user functions of the Oracle software based Global Combat Support Systems (GCSS).

the Global Hawk platform, which provides user interfaces for aircraft command and control, as well as imagery product
dissemination functionality.
We are looking for an experienced systems/software professional to join our team at the Global Hawk System Center in San
Diego, California. We provide domain knowledge and support for integration and test activities here in the GHSC, and act as the
first line of defense for issues found during field operations. Supporting the GHSC requires a thorough understanding not only the
components we support, but also the “big picture” – how Raytheon’s contributions to the program ultimately interact with the
rest of a large, sophisticated platform.
Successful candidates will have excellent software and technical skills, and will put those skills to use providing integration test
support and root-cause analysis of issues found during test. Tasking of concurrent projects happens frequently, so the ability to
balance priorities and see projects through to completion is a necessity. As we are often interfacing with end users, engineers, and
other field personnel, strong written and verbal communication skills are key.
Typical activities can include: GH Ground Segment software installation, Unix and Linux system configuration, network
