CACI seeking TASS Field Electrician/Technicians in Doha Qatar

 

What You’ll Get to Do:

 

Electrician shall also support the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and hardware., inspection, adjustments, reconfiguration, and introduction of new or advanced technology, update, testing, and the related technical support for these systems by providing on-site technical assistance

Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical blue prints and drawings. Ability to update or create as built and redline drawing packages.

The installation of electrical system components as assigned (e.g. panels, pull stations, pulling conduit, wire, etc.) for providing enhanced and/or upgraded system capabilities.

The installation, upgrade of and disassembly and reconfiguration of systems, operator and maintenance training, service, repair and maintenance of electronic and mechanical security systems.

Diagnose electrical problems or failures in assigned systems or individual equipment using a half split troubleshooting method and perform systems repair using line replaceable units.

Provide technical expertise for electronic control systems, install equipment upgrades and perform reconfigurations at designated bases in Southwest Asia.

Works closely with the site’s Force Protection (FP) personnel on all security systems issues.

Understanding of low voltage electronic control systems, high voltage transfer functions and normally open/normally closed resistive circuits using Ohms Law.

Duties include manual labor, the lifting of heavy equipment unaided, digging, laying cable, power generation, solar panel installation, fiber splicing, and working long hours in harsh environmental conditions.

Required Skills:

 

Experience/certification as an apprentice or Journeyman electrician.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blue prints and drawings.

Tower climbing and fall prevention training. Outdoor/outside plant experience.

Experience performing installation or fault isolation testing using equipment such as: ohmmeters, megohm-meters, diagnostic test stations and other specialized test equipment.

Experience running PVC, EMT, Rigid, and Flexible conduit with 90' bends, offsets, kicks & saddles.

Measures, cuts, bends, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit, using such tools as band saw, pipe threaders, and conduit bender.

Identify cable paths using installation drawing packages and pull multiple cables through conduit and terminate cable at both ends.

Installation of Interior and exterior signal and power distribution panels. Backplane assembly including power distribution units, network appliances and internal wiring harnesses.

Battery backup installation and testing. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) installation, integration and testing.

Fabrication of both coper and fiber optic cables including terminations and testing connections. These include RJ45, Coaxial/BNC, ST/SC/LC, multi-pair coper, single and multi-mode fiber.

A successful candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of technical experience relating to electrical, electronic and power generation including Solar Panel installation and maintenance.

Minimum of 3 years working in electronics, basic electric circuit troubleshooting.

Candidates should have a strong background in installation of electronic control and power subsystems including generator, battery and solar power. Recent experience with electronic security systems, access control, CCTV, Wide Surveillance Thermal Imager, Long Range Thermal Imager, Ground-based Radars (MSTAR) and other security systems.

Ability to write detailed trip reports to include sensor recommendations and placement derived from site surveys.

Possesses a minimum of a high school diploma. Trade certifications, Associates and Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.

Must be able to climb towers and carry a backpack of 50+ pounds unassisted.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

This position will directly interface with the Government customer while supporting various contract required meetings.  You will be responsible for performing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information.  Perform, support, and sustain logistics functions including: system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support of major systems.  Duties may include managing the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistic processes.  Plans, scheduled and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer services, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance.  Assess and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulation governing the shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products.

5. Manage badge renewal process for PM Fort Belvoir offices.

 

6. Manage IN/OUT Processing of personnel at Fort Belvoir with the PM Human Resource (HR) Team. Ensure all incoming and outgoing Government/ Military (Contractors are Optional) personnel see the PM/DPM for an entry/exit interview.

 

7. Brief PM/DPM on all staff changes. Update PM Task Organization with PM OPS Lead as needed and provide a digital/hardcopy to the PM/DPM.

What You’ll Get to Do:

 

Design, develop, integrate, and test software to acquire and process signal data from various sensors.

Recommend technical process improvements for the A&A process. Implement risk management framework (RMF) processes and document the system capabilities. Assess, verify, and support the implementation of security controls (physical and logical). Manage POA&Ms for the system and ensure that milestones are met. The applicant must be a subject matter expert in the employment and operation of the Patriot system; march order and emplacement drills to include missile reload; and will have served as one or more of the following:

 

-  Launcher Operator/Maintainer (14T 40/30) in a U.S. Patriot Battery and must have certified as a crew member of a Patriot launcher, march order and emplacement as well as guided missile transporter (GMT) and forklift reload.

Title: Component Lessons Learned Specialist (27th SOW)

JOB PURPOSE: The USSOCOM J-59-L Strategy, Plans and Policy Lessons Learned (LL) Branch is responsible for implementing USSOCOM Directive 11-3 SOF Lessons Learned Program to enhance joint capabilities through discovery, knowledge development, implementation, and sharing of observations, issues/insights, lessons, and best practices from operation, training events, exercises, and other activities involving Special Operations Forces (SOF) assets. The SOF LLP applies lessons learned to the full range of joint operations to develop policy and for gathering, developing, and disseminating joint lessons learned across the J59 LL Network.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

·         Plans, synchronizes and coordinates the Component Command’s Annual LL Campaign Plans; includes coordination/information sharing with other commands (i.e. Joint Staff, Services, other Component Commands).

 

·         Coordinates Command driven Before Action Review (BAR) for each specific event to identify objectives outlined by the Command and facilitate achievement of command goals and objectives.

 

·         Collects, reviews and presents LL material for compliance with policy, attainment of objectives, overall effectiveness, and quality to supported Component Command and USSOCOM.

 

·         Conducts comprehensive post event analysis to identify immediate SOF capability impacts as well as long-range effect on training, employing, and organizing SOF support.

 

·         Incorporates observations, insights, and lessons learned into the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) for their respective commands to ensure data is synchronized, current, and available.

 

·         Coordinates LL material prior to release from the Component Command addressing non-controversial and potentially controversial matters.

 

·         Regularly meets with numerous military personnel on the advancement of lessons learned information sharing on collection, analysis concepts, principles and applications.

 

·         Compile Before Action Reports, After Action Reports, Executive Summaries, Post Activity Bulletins and Requests for Information. Documentation shall be complete and include substantiated findings and recommendations, consistent with a high level of quality control and distribution ready. The documentation shall also be audience-specific and captured at the appropriate security level.

 

·         Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.

 

Education/Experience:

·         7 years of prior service experience, including 2 years of experience working with a Component Command

 

·         1 year experience using classified collaborative communications systems, for example DCO

 

·         Graduate from Component specific SOF qualified course or additional service requirement for the supported unit

The Signature Reduction Technician will provide operational support, subject matter expertise, interagency coordination, administrative support, and training management in support of programs for DoD customer. This position will be the focal point for all coordination traffic within the section. The Signature Reduction Technician will work with the military customer to provide support for developing, managing, and employing plans and best practices. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

Identify, establish, and maintain liaison contacts and communications within Service and DoD Program channels for formal and informal coordination to effectively leverage and expedite support to the development, staffing, activation, execution, and termination of plans as well as other required actions and communications

Establish and implement processes for requests pertaining to development and its processes to include requests for mechanisms, requests for sponsorship and systems support

Creating, drafting, coordinating, implementing and executing plans, amendments, annexes and associated documentation in direct support to SR programs 

Create annexes to plans as mission requirements evolve

Assist the government in creating mechanisms as detailed

Create, manage, maintain, and implement plans, annexes, mechanisms, and assessments

Develop and deliver required products IAW policies/regulations. Conduct analysis and deliver plans or assessments as recommended by mission parameters within each contract year in support of client efforts

Conduct due diligence assessments

Conduct compliance reviews to include periodic inspections, audits, and inventories IAWs with governing DOD guidance and applicable client regulations

Draft and maintain policies and procedures for the command and support the review of plans and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other regulatory documents to ensure compliance

Familiarity working within the Joint Community (processes, structure, C2, etc.)

Report significant events/incidents

Support tasks associated with training including formal instruction and/or culmination exercises to enhance SR competencies

Assist in the management of training for incoming and current members
