Requirements


Basic Qualifications


Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in tactical and operational planning, operations, and training.

Preferred Qualifications


SOF intelligence experience.

Minimum of 4 years of recent experience serving in an operations assignment coordinating exercises and training.

We are presently identifying candidates for the following position: Corrections Advisor – Specialist Advisor IV (CARSI – Honduras). This candidate will work with Dept. of State, International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (DOS-INL) in Tegucigalpa, Honduras on the Central America Regional Security Initiative (CARSI) contract.


 


Minimum Qualifications—


U.S. Citizen, Third Country National (TCN), Local National (LN)

Pre-Employment investigation may include criminal/background check; fingerprint checks; employment verification; verification of education (relevant to employment); credit checks; and may include other requested checks by DoS: INL.

Bachelor’s or higher degree from an accredited college or university in any field with preference given to degrees in criminal justice, social sciences, accounting, or communications.

Graduate of a U.S. federal or state corrections or probation officer academy certified by a POST commission or equivalent, and of at least 120 hours in length.

A minimum of ten (10) years of corrections experience in a prison facility accredited by the American Corrections Association (ACA), two (2) years of which must have been in corrections management position equivalent to a deputy/assistant warden or higher.

At least two (2) years’ experience in senior management roles that include strategic planning, resource management, budgeting, oversight and evaluation and active management of maximum-security operations, including incentive-based prisoner management programs, community corrections, probation/parole, and medical services.

At least (3) years of experience working on international corrections issues in an overseas environment in Latin America.

Experience in the development and implementation of corrections programs.

Experience in evaluating prisons against ACA standards and achieving ACA accreditation at a prison.

Experience providing training and/or mentoring on corrections related issues.

Experience in developing information from prison security threat groups to improve prison operations, law enforcement and prevention.

Experience working with personnel at all levels of prison operations from guards working the prison grounds, to squad and section leaders, to outside leaders and community figures.

Strong verbal and written skills, with ability to present, defend complex analyses and proposals concisely.

Superior English and Spanish (at the FSI level 3/3) language communications skills both oral and written.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications—


Knowledge of corrections development and technical assistance programs in an international environment.

At least (5) years of experience working on international corrections related issues overseas, preferably in Central America, including experience working or coordinating with other relevant U.S. government agencies (e.g., Departments of Justice, FBI, Defense, DEA and/or USAID).

Experience providing training or capacity-building support to correctional authorities overseas, with a view towards achieving ACA accreditation.

Knowledge of transnational criminal gangs and the nexus to prison-related violence, especially those prevalent in Central America.

Knowledge of prison design, facilities, policy development, security prison operations, and systems management.

 


Responsibilities—


Under the general guidance of the INL Honduras Director, INL Honduras Deputy Director, INL Honduras Justice Sector Program Officer and INL Honduras Justice Sector Advisor serve as the INL Honduras Corrections Advisor, providing subject matter expertise on corrections and coordinate with all agencies that represent prison administration and management throughout the country.

Provide assistance to the Government of Honduras (GOH) with assessing the facility, procedures, management and operations capabilities of each prison.

Advise the GOH on developing a prison reform program that addresses prison policy, training, and inter-ministerial coordination, including identifying potential components appropriate for USG/INL support.

Based on prison assessments, provide recommendations to the GOH and USG/INL on required measures to be taken to achieve ACA accreditation, including recommendation on which prison(s) to begin with, and provide support and mentoring in that process.

Provide mentoring and training on all aspects of corrections management to personnel of the GOH prisons system and other officials from the GOH as required.

Responsible for keeping INL Honduras leadership informed and briefed on all matters relating to corrections advisory assistance in the Honduran Prison System.

Coordinate with INL corrections experts on assessments, reform initiatives, advising, training initiatives, procurements, contract issues, visas, country clearances, and funding issues.  Prepare documents as necessary.

Prepare regular reports for the INL Honduras leadership including drafting sections of various program requests and briefings as requested.

In consultation with the INL/KM/TAD Corrections Advisors design and provide prison operations and technical assistance recommendations to corrections officials in Honduras.

Review and make recommendations to INL program staff regarding corrections proposals, process and policy improvements, and training curricula.

Provide advisory and procedure assistance to the GOH in order to establish a safe, secure, humane, and transparent correctional system and assist with identifying the equipment, associated policies, procedures, curricula, programs, and systems required to operate a modern correctional department.

Prepare documents for grant or contract solicitations, including independent government cost estimates.

Assist in developing corrections programs which are coordinated with the police and other law enforcement, and judicial system.

Serve as the Honduras subject matter expert on corrections; to include policy analysis and program guidance on issues such as program progress, budgeting, development of host country correctional capacities and limitations of institutions, refurbishment of correctional facilities and training plans.

Keep abreast of local news and developments as it pertains to the Honduras prison system – including but not limited to relevant events occurring at correctional facilities and changes in local policies or laws related to the prison system – and brief INL leadership as appropriate. 

Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts in the Honduran corrections system, relevant officials at other GOH institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.  Coordinate and communicate with relevant U.S. agencies and sections across the Embassy on corrections-related issues as appropriate.

Manage and carry out all necessary logistics to facilitate training programs in support of these programs, including coordination with other INL advisors.

Conduct periodic site visits to project locations, jails and prisons located in the region to perform onsite inspections and assessments of INL projects and programs, and other duties as assigned.

Develop curricula for training on various topics as required.

Provide classroom and field instruction on corrections topics as required.

Other duties as assigned.

Hours for this full-time position will be the core hours of the U.S. Embassy in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

National and international travel may be required.

As the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threats, Operations, and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) Training Resource Analyst for the Training Development and Delivery (TDD) Functional Coordination Cell (FCC), you will coordinate directly with the Training Development and Delivery Lead, Training Development Group Lead, Training Delivery Group Lead, and the I3C providing training management input to Cross-Functional Working Groups and Project Planning. You will coordinate with the command for priorities, requirements, and state of training readiness. You will track and maintain funding, equipment, regulatory and statutory requirements. You will coordinate and track training and exercise requirements between TDD and the I3C.

You will also support the following tasks:


Coordinate funding and equipment requirements with the Government, TDD Functional Group, and within the I3C, as required, to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements

Provides training resource support and input during Project Planning and Cross-Functional Working Group sessions as required.

Coordinates with the TDD Integrator and appropriate Task Leads to meet regulatory and statutory requirements applicable to a specific event.

Coordinates with the supported command, forward-deployed SOF units, Training Delivery Group Lead, OS advisors, intelligence analysts, and the I3C to tailor training to the unit based on commander’s priorities, mission requirements, state of training readiness, unit AOR, threat, training cycle, and training time available.

 


You’ll Bring These Qualifications:


Current Secret Clearance.

Minimum of 10 years of military/DOD experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Special Operations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in training and exercise development and delivery.

Demonstrated experience analyzing current and future threats to provide Soldiers with relevant training.

Demonstrated operational or institutional training domain experience and integration across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership & Education, Personnel, and Facilities (DOTMLPF).

Demonstrated familiarization with the Army Training Management Program and large-scale, enterprise-wide training programs.

Experience integrating information, analysis, technology, and interagency collaboration, lessons learned, and best practices for training support to enable effective and efficient dissemination of threat training.

Demonstrated experience focused on the collection, analysis, and dissemination of lessons learned and best practices to ensure the Service has current information on emerging threat environments, trends, TTPs, and information on effective countermeasures.

Proven understanding of and experience with readiness resource requirements and CTEs at CTCs, regional collective training centers, Mobilization Force Generation Installations, major mission command, and home-station training events.

 


These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:


Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree.

Experience with Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS).

CAPM or PMP, or related certificates in project management.

Demonstrated, recent (within the last five years) experience with or knowledge of the SOF training environment.

Experience assessing training and preparing units for deployment into conflict zones. Experience planning, directing, and synchronizing intelligence collection, analysis, and production in support of training, deployment, and contingency operations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Develop and revise Tactical through Strategic SIGINT equipment TSPs and familiarization and sustainment training, including individual to collective training materials


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum of 8 years as an Army MOS 35P or 35N or other service equivalent

Current TS/SCI clearance with poly Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) certificates to operate on NSAnet databases

Must have experience with Large Scale Combat Operations (LSCO) or Multi- Domain Operations 

Current Oversight training (VUport classes OVSC1000, 1100, and 1800), Intelligence Oversight Officer training (VUport training TOOL1200 and OVSC 2201), Trusted Agent Training (Receive training and certification from a current Trusted Agent), and Unit Auditor Training (VUport training OVSC3101)

Working knowledge of the SIGINT Enterprise and NGA

Electric Construction Operations is hiring an Electric Construction Quality Control Specialist.  In this job, you will be responsible for the operational needs and inspecting contractor crews and electrician installations on our distribution & transmission system. In this position, you will work in Planning and Engineering, Construction & Maintenance, and Distribution Control. Starting pay for this classification is $54.10.  Once you have successfully completed probation your pay will increase to $56.81/hr. 


As an Electric Construction Quality Control Specialist, you will be:


Inspecting the construction, maintenance, installation/ removal of underground and overhead power lines and equipment. Primary & Secondary

Ensuring quality of work performed in compliance with standard operating policies

Performing Distribution Switching to accommodate repairs and clearances for external customers/contractors

Setting up & receiving Clearances and Hotline holds for Contractors to perform their required work

Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and work procedures for both internal & external customers

Reviewing technical documents and designs for accuracy

Ensuring the major projects are being built up to our transmission and distribution specifications

Qualified applicants must have completed a Line Technician Apprenticeship program and have at least five years of experience working as a journey-level line technician. Assist VA patient in/out of wheelchair, if requested 

Load VA patient’s wheelchair into their vehicle

Return VAMC (Veterans Affairs Medical Center) provided wheelchairs to the designated storage location

Monitor the valet parking areas to ensure that only valet vehicles are parked in the valet areas

o Direct non authorized visitors to the appropriate parking areas

Provide self-parking directions to visitors, employees, and vendors

Provide local travel directions and general information about the VAMC facilities

Provide valet parking traffic control direction to ensure vehicles entering valet staging area do not block traffic circle

Report suspicious persons, behaviors, and / or activity to the on-duty Valet Manager and if appropriate, immediately to the VA Police or local law enforcement

Remove dropped off valet vehicles from staging area withing ten (10) minutes of the vehicles arrival to the staging area

Retrieve valet parked vehicles from valet parking area withing ten (10) minutes from the time of customer request

Safely parking and retrieving valet parking eligible vehicles

•  Part three – Record the location of the valet parked vehicle’s parking space, date, and time. Attach to the vehicle keys and return in the keys to the Greeter / Valet Manager/Assistant Manager for safe, secure storage in the locking key box.

o  Part three of the claim check MUST be provided before vehicles are returned to drivers**

• Retrieve correct vehicle from valet parking area

• Remove part two from the dashboard; annotate the return date / time on the form and give it to the on-duty Valet Manager to be filed to verify parking counts and any potential damage claims

* If the vehicle driver refuses to sign the damage acknowledgement, both the Valet Attendant and on duty Valet Manager will sign the second portion of the valet parking ticket and annotate that the vehicle driver refused to sign acknowledging the identified vehicle damage. This action is to protect the VAMC, the Valet Attendant, and the Company from being responsible for car damages for which none of the above mentioned are responsible. 


**When valet parking customers request their vehicle retrieval, they must provide their claim ticket. If they cannot provide their claim ticket, the Valet Attendant will notify the VA Police to resolve the release of their vehicle. All vehicles released by VA Police directive without a claim ticket will be noticed in a weekly valet parking services report.

We are looking for an individual to serve the community as the Environmental Specialist for water quality standards and permits within Colorado Springs Utilities.  In this role, you will lead and implement Colorado Discharge Permit System (CDPS) to fulfill permitting and strategic planning to meet future stream standards and protect water quality for generations.  The person filling this job will be the CDPS expert for all Utilities’ operations with a focus on wastewater utilities.  Also, will work collaboratively with regulators, regional water quality stakeholders, industry partners, and Utilities staff to develop and implement water quality plans.

Prepare permit applications & permit implementation plans

Manage water quality information and databases to support permitting and rulemaking

Lead teams to prepare, submit and negotiate CDPS permits and site applications for two major wastewater facilities; a biosolids facility and a drinking water treatment facility 

Support and possibly represent Utilities through the Colorado Water Quality Control Commission hearing process; track and influence proposed changes to stream standards and permit regulations

Develop and maintain partnerships to support regulatory strategies 

In conjunction with legal counsel and watershed staff, represent Utilities in regional water quality planning processes including Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments Water Quality Management Committee and Site Application Review Committee and Arkansas Fountain Coalition for Urban and River Evaluation

Support and guide staff on Industrial Pretreatment permit applications and compliance for Utilities’ electric generation facilities

Duties and Responsibilities


·         Plans, synchronizes and coordinates the Component Command’s Annual LL Campaign Plans; includes coordination/information sharing with other commands (i.e. Joint Staff, Services, other Component Commands).


·         Coordinates Command driven Before Action Review (BAR) for each specific event to identify objectives outlined by the Command and facilitate achievement of command goals and objectives.


·         Collects, reviews and presents LL material for compliance with policy, attainment of objectives, overall effectiveness, and quality to supported Component Command and USSOCOM.


·         Conducts comprehensive post event analysis to identify immediate SOF capability impacts as well as long-range effect on training, employing, and organizing SOF support.


·         Incorporates observations, insights, and lessons learned into the Joint Lessons Learned Information System (JLLIS) for their respective commands to ensure data is synchronized, current, and available.


·         Coordinates LL material prior to release from the Component Command addressing non-controversial and potentially controversial matters.


·         Regularly meets with numerous military personnel on the advancement of lessons learned information sharing on collection, analysis concepts, principles and applications.


·         Compile Before Action Reports, After Action Reports, Executive Summaries, Post Activity Bulletins and Requests for Information. Documentation shall be complete and include substantiated findings and recommendations, consistent with a high level of quality control and distribution ready. The documentation shall also be audience-specific and captured at the appropriate security level.


·         Develop and maintain an electronic resource, to include key points of contact, to be used for mission continuity that may be accessed by all stakeholders.


Education/Experience:

·         7 years of prior service experience, including 2 years of experience working with a Component Command

The Signals Intelligence Electronic Warfare (SI/EW) Systems Engineer will be responsible for applying practical knowledge to communication technologies, navigation, and sensor systems in support of Tactical Training Exercise Control Group (TTECG), Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Center (MAGTF-TC) operations, by producing a realistic signal environment and providing technological support. The SI/EW Systems Engineer will assist in the development, operation, and supervision of Signal Environment solutions to support TTECG exercises. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for improving and managing a realistic Radio Frequency Signal Environment that is dynamic and scalable tailored to SLTE events. The signals solutions will include: a wide variety of signals from wireless communications signals, RADAR, and military communications signals. SI/EW Systems Engineer will be required to network commercial-off-the-shelf/government-off-the-shelf systems.
