Corrosion Technician
As a Corrosion Technician at Colorado Springs Utilities, you will ensure the tasks that our water crews perform adhere to Colorado Springs Utilities and NACE standards for installing and maintaining corrosion protection devices. You will have the opportunity to install, test, measure data, and collect information for the WMRP, Design Engineering, and Corrosion programs of work. If you are interested in continuing to advance your career and professional development in corrosion (we will even help you obtain your NACE Cathodic Protection Tester-CP1 certification!), we want to hear from you!
A day in the life of a Corrosion Technician may include:
Designing corrosion control systems for standard projects
Reviewing cathodic protection designs prior to project installation
Maintaining cathodic protection rectifiers (120V/240V/480V AC)
Inspecting pipeline coatings, internal tank coating systems, and external tank coating systems
Troubleshooting corrosion system anomalies
Conducting corrosion surveys to include annual, 10 percent, and soil resistivity testing
Installing galvanic and impressed current cathodic protection systems
Inspecting the installation of cathodic protection appurtenances and systems of contract and Colorado Springs Utilities crews
Testing cathodic protection systems using a wide variety of test methods, including current requirements, “on/off surveys” (requires installation of interrupting device at rectifier), current output tests on galvanic and impressed current anodes, depolarization tests, isolation/insulator tests, and system continuity tests
Helping to oversee the quality control of cathodic protection installations and ensure that work meets Federal, State, and Colorado Springs Utilities guidelines
Who You Are
Demonstrated experience in corrosion assessment and cathodic protection
Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver's license AND a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required, or the ability to obtain a CDL within one year of hire
Water and/or gas pipeline construction experience is valued
NACE Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1) Certification is required within one year of hire

Land Surveyor
This job is eligible for relocation assistance to aid with the costs of relocating to the Colorado Springs area.
This job will be filled at the Intermediate ($77,792 to $97,240) or Senior ($85,488 to $106,870) level depending upon the knowledge, expertise, and licensure of the successful candidate.
As a Land Surveyor at Colorado Springs Utilities, you will provide expertise and support in the areas of land surveying, cadastral mapping, survey control, easement preparation and review, topographic mapping, engineering surveys, and land survey plat and subdivision review. This job offers the opportunity to leverage your knowledge of and experience with plane surveying, field data collection methodologies, and survey technologies.
At the Intermediate level, your responsibilities may include:
Operating survey equipment, including total stations, digital levels, GPS equipment, and data collectors (Trimble and Leica)
Performing field surveying tasks, transporting and setting up equipment, and loading survey vehicles with equipment and tools
Reviewing plats, easement documents, researching survey documents, and conducting land records research
Creating subdivision or lot data using Coordinate Geometry (COGO) techniques
Performing heads-up digitizing from aerial orthophotography using ArcGIS

SOF Targeting Analyst (Fort Moore ,GA)(TS_SCI required)
SOF Targeting Analyst
*What Youll Get to Do: ***
As a CACI-Wexford SOF Targeting Analyst, you will provide rotational,
deployed, embedded and reach back support directly to SOF, developing
intelligence products while coordinating the support packages provided
to meet unit and subordinate element operational requirements. You will
assist in developing processes that enhance SOF situational
understanding of threat networks and enabling DoD, IA and IC efforts
focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those networks.
*More About the Role: ***
While deployed, you will embed with SOF to assist operational and
tactical commanders, their staffs and subordinate units with fusing
operations and intelligence information to enhance their effectiveness
against threat networks. You will identify and analyze problems, and
generate recommended solutions based upon experience working with
elements of the DOD, interagency and international partners. Most
deployments are 120 to 180 days in length.
While providing reach back support, you will directly support embedded
teammates; answer requests for support from other SOF units; and work
closely with a wide variety of SOF units, institutions, and partners.
You will assist with pre-deployment training/preparation, conduct
professional development within the CACI-WGI SOF Support Team, and
mentor new members of the team to ensure they are ready to deploy and
succeed.
You will work closely with other members of your team to identify
capabilities and vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations;
identify trends, patterns, and key nodes; and highlight their
relationships to the targeted enemy networks.
*Youll Bring These Qualifications: ***
* Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security
Clearance.
* You must possess the ability to effectively communicate both orally
and in writing.
* You will be able to provide daily feedback to the team lead on
product development.
* Be deployable, meeting all command deployment criteria, including
medical readiness to the required theater of operations, usually
conducting periodic travel within CONUS and four-to-six-month
deployments to OCONUS locations.

Equipment Condition Specialist
We are seeking to hire an Equipment Condition Specialist; this position will be filled at the mid-level (Specialist) or senior level (Specialist Senior). Selection will be dependent on the qualifications, experience, and certification level of the successful candidate.

As an Equipment Condition Specialist, you will join our talented Operations Technical Services Department responsible for the collection and analysis of data to support the predictive maintenance of plant equipment as well as the acceptance of new installations of critical equipment. In this job, you will perform a variety of inspections, measurements, and analysis to assess the health of equipment. You will utilize data including vibration levels, oil sampling, thermography and other analytical methods. The position reports to the System Monitoring, Diagnostics and Controls (SDC) group, Condition Monitoring Supervisor.

Key Areas of Focus:
Regularly perform condition monitoring by utilizing portable vibration data collectors, infrared cameras, ultrasonic listening devices, and ultrasonic thickness gauges vibration data collection on plant equipment using a portable data collector
Utilize vibration analysis software to diagnose, troubleshoot, and recommend actions to correct issues identified
Utilize infrared digital camera to capture precise temperature readings as well as thermal images of electrical equipment and machinery to diagnose and evaluate high voltage situations
Monitors numerous assets using various real time vibration monitoring systems
Routinely collects oil samples for field testing and lab analysis, reviews analysis results, and makes recommendations for corrective actions based on findings
Makes recommendations for the selection of lubrication on new and existing equipment
Analyzes vibration data to detect machine faults and recommend corrective actions
Develop clear and concise summary reports of all findings
Active involvement in the design and execution of plant maintenance program
Design and maintain databases for the comprehensive monitoring and diagnostic evaluation of critical equipment
Consult with managers, contractors and engineers regarding the condition of equipment and necessary corrections for proper operation and/or contract compliance
Interact with vendors to investigate retrofit parts and alternative equipment for plant equipment and processes
Install, repair and perform preventative maintenance on electrical / electronic /mechanical equipment as necessary

Intelligence Management Specialists to provide support to SOF developing
products that enhance situational understanding of threat networks
employing or facilitating WMD and counter-proliferation (CP), enabling
efforts focused on dismantling, disrupting, and defeating those
networks. You will provide operational fusion and support to CWMD and CP
analysis used to inform SOF Commanders and Staff. You will teach
capabilities and tools to units. You will interact with the warfighter
during the development of intelligence products while coordinating the
support packages provided to meet unit operational requirements. You
will assist in fusing the operational and intelligence information
available to the supported unit while providing an operational
perspective to the products, which include target and network analysis.
Positions will require periodic CONUS travel and up to 6-month
deployments to OCONUS locations. Most deployments are 120 to 180 days in
length. While deployed you will embed with SOF to provide operational
advice to Commanders and Staff regarding planning CWMD, Crisis Response,
and Countering Threat Networks Ops. You will coordinate and manage
intelligence requests for support. While providing reach-back support,
you will support embedded teammates, manage requests for support and
work with a wide variety of SOF units. You will assist with
pre-deployment training, conduct professional development, and mentor
new members of the team.
Requirements:
- Active DoD TS/SCI
- Must be a recently separated/retired Special Forces, Ranger Regiment,
SMU, MARSOC, or SEAL E-8 or E-9, Warrant Officer, or Field Grade Officer
- Must be a SME at planning and executing SOF ground combat Ops
- Bachelor's Degree with 18+ years of total military/ relevant
contractor experience or 22+ years of total military/ relevant
contractor experience with no degree.? SOF experience must be recent
within the previous two years.
- 10+ years providing operational support to SOF units or commands

- 5+ years of experience with the military planning cycle and SOF

Electric Meter Specialist Apprentice
Colorado Springs Utilities offers career opportunities in the fast-paced, dynamic utility industry. We are looking for an individual who has the desire and self-motivation to join our team as an Electric Meter Specialist Apprentice. This challenging and rewarding career is responsible for the programming, calibrating, installing, disconnecting, maintaining, and repairing of all types of electric residential, commercial, and industrial instrument meters and other associated equipment. Along with metering technology, you will be immersed in Automated Meter Reading (AMR)/Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) operations.
The Meter Specialist Apprenticeship is a four-year DOL Certified Program. As such, the pay for this position will begin at $30.23/hour and will progress throughout the apprenticeship based on the pay schedule below (subject to change):

Understand meter programs and how they associate with electric meter tariffs
Know how to perform electric service inspections to ensure safety at the time of meter install

Properly operate meter test bench equipment
Test, receive, and deliver electric meters to the proper warehouse

During your time as an Electric Meter Specialist Apprentice, you will progress in your career while completing a 4 year, depending on candidate skills, Northwest Lineman College (Meter Technician Certification Program).
You will have the opportunity to use a great number of new technologies in the meter shop and field, work in a fast-paced and exciting environment, and expand your knowledge by learning about various types of meter uses and software
After completion, you will have the skills to:
Read, interpret, and utilize drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Test instrument transformers for the breakdown; ratio, polarity, phase angle, and other defects
Work on energized conductors and equipment, sometimes in close quarters. Bypass load on such energized circuits to avoid service interruptions. Performs voltage checks and grounding on all equipment per safety rules before working on metering equipment
Inspects electric meter installations before energizing equipment to make certain that the installation meets all CSU and applicable governmental requirements.
Perform all work on polyphase meters polyphase transformer-rated meters and associated devices
Investigate proposed new facilities and changeover of existing facilities for primary metering service to determine suitable location of equipment; make recommendations to management, customers, or contractors
What will it take to be successful? Most people in this position will have a completed high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (G.E.D.) and may have 1 – 2 years of general electrical or electric metering experience. The ideal candidate will know basic electrical theory and practice and may have completed an electric metering training and safety program. The individual will be a flexible and adaptable team player. In addition, this position is required to drive a Colorado Springs Utilities vehicle so a valid driver's license is required.

*What You?ll Get to Do: *
As a CACI-SOAS SOF Operations Planner, you will provide embedded support
to a SOF unit involved in Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD).
You and your team will work to identify, characterize, and counter WMD
and the networks that aim to employ these weapons. You will conduct
temporary duty (TDY) to embed with and advise National Mission Force and
Interagency Partners at all echelons of command. You will utilize
Operations, Activities, and Investments (OAIs) to identify pathways that
illuminate adversary WMD activities, intentions, and vulnerabilities.
These OAIs are executed by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA)
and its partners to identify, characterize, and counter threat use of
WMD. When providing CWMD embedded support, you will serve as an expert
in operational planning and design. You will enable DoD and interagency
partners to hold threat actors at risk in support of Integrated
Deterrence. You will support embedded teammates; answer requests for
support from other mission partners (COCOMs, Special Operations
Commands, and Interagency elements); and work closely with a wide
variety of units, institutions, and customers.

As an SOF Operations Planner, you will support three lines of effort
(LOE): A) Campaigning, B) Crisis Response, and C) Exercise Integration.
You will conduct planning and provide technical advice on CWMD
specialized tasks that include: Dissuade, deter, delay, disrupt,
destroy, deny, and assure. Planners are proficient in national level
concept plans (CONPLANs) for Crisis Response and the timelines for
employment of a National Forces response. Planner?s will deploy TDY on
behalf of DTRA in support of their embedded SOF partner?s engagements,
training, and operational CWMD requirements. They contribute to a team
that designs the concept, scripts the scenario, and writes injects that
meet DTRA objectives while supporting response to crisis and integrating
DTRA materiel solutions. The intent is to achieve interoperability with
Interagency and highlight how DTRA comes together with these
organizations to support the Combatant Command. You will assist with
community of interest engagement, conduct professional development
within the CACI-Wexford Operational Analysis Team, and mentor new
members of the team to ensure they are ready to meet client requirements.

SIGINT/EW System Engineer (Twentynine Palms, CA) (TS/SCI)
TheSignals Intelligence Electronic Warfare (SI/EW) Systems Engineer?will
be responsible for applying practical knowledge to communication
technologies, navigation, and sensor systems in supportof Tactical
TrainingExercise ControlGroup(TTECG), MarineAirGroundTaskForce Training
Center(MAGTF-TC) operations, by producing arealistic signal environment
and providing technological support. The role will enable TTECG to
employ and train on a variety of SIGINT/EW capabilities in support of
Service Level Training Exercises (SLTE) conducted on board Marine Corps
Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, CA.
The SI/EW Systems Engineer will assist in the development, operation,
and supervision ofSignal Environment solutions to support TTECG
exercises. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for improving and
managing a realistic Radio Frequency Signal Environment that is dynamic
and scalable tailored to SLTE events. The signals solutions will
include: a wide variety of signals from wireless communications signals,
RADAR, and military communications signals. SI/EW Systems Engineer will
be required to network commercial-off-the-shelf/government-off-the-shelf
systems.
*Duties & Responsibilities:*
* Develop, Deliver, and Sustain Emergent Friendly and Threat
Capability Training.
* Engineer Furnish, and Maintain On-Site Technical Systems.
* Research, and Integrate innovative training solutions to meet MAGTF
Spectrum Warfare requirements.
* Design, prototype and deliver custom Software Defined Radio (SDR)
transceiver solutions.
* Provide Project Management for SI/EW training systems to the
customer through technology and systems integration.
* Remotely Manage RF Signal Environment hardware and software.
* Provide remote support to RF Signal Environment systems on board MCAGCC.
* Conduct periodic onsite maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and repair radio frequency electrical equipment.
*Required Qualifications:*
* US Citizen.
* Valid driver's license.
* Organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
skills for working in a team environment.
* Physical ability to conduct system maintenance in the California
high desert environment.
* Must have strong development, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Current TS/SCI eligibility.
* Amateur Radio License.
*Education:*
* Bachelor of Science Degree in a STEM discipline required or
equivalent experience.
* Electrical Engineer Degree preferred.
* Information Assurance Training Level II Certification Required.
*Preferred Experience:*
* Experience troubleshooting antenna systems from transmitter/receiver
to antenna using tools like a spectrum analyzer.
* Training in data communications, digital communications, various
operating systems and applications, computer support, scripting, and
project management.
* Intelligence Community work role.
* Computer support experience, including troubleshooting PC hardware
and configurations.
* Proficient in GNU Radio.
* Familiar with computer programming language(s).
* Can code in MATLAB.
* Has an understanding of I/Q data and recording as well as stitching
files together.
