*Duties/Responsibilities: *
This position will provide SOF exercise expertise to support the
planning and execution of exercises in the SOUTHCOM AOR.
? Coordinate with external forces such as SOF, Army, Air Force, Navy,
Marine Corps, and Partner Nations for participation in the exercises.
? Work with participating units to accomplish tasks such as field
training, logistical support activities, amphibious landings, airborne
and ground maneuvers, air operations, maritime operations, and Special
Operations activities.
? Maintain currency, relevancy, and awareness of SOF and joint
enterprise training requirements through research of past and current
operations, joint exercise instructions, and SOF doctrine.
? Participate in working groups, conferences, and meetings to support
unit exercise requirements.
? Maintain cooperative relationships with operational and strategic
level planners and leaders in the USSOCOM HQs, USSOCOM Components,
USSOUTHCOM, USSOUTHCOM Components, and other organizations to facilitate
a synchronized effort in exercise design and execution across the
community of interest.
? Support exercise design, Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) planning,
scenario scripting, training, and observations where necessary.
? Create or review training events concepts, to include purpose,
objectives, broad scenario characteristics, processes, and products to
support the mission and objectives of the training event?s sponsor.
? Execute other duties as required to support the SOCSOUTH J37 team in
the accomplishment of their duties and responsibilities related to
training and exercises.
Qualifications:
? 10 years prior military experience, SOF experience required.
? Minimum of 2 years? experience serving in a command, senior enlisted
advisor, or primary staff billet in a SOF HQs (USSOCOM/TSOC/Component),
Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 2-4 Star level Service/GCC HQs
? Minimum of 2 years? experience directly interfacing with senior staff
(O6/GOFO) at the TSOC, Component, GCC, Service, Interagency level
? Excellent presentation, communication, and organization skills
? Must have Spanish language proficiency to pass annual DLPT with a

Support Cycle and provide targeting recommendations to the TSOC
Commander from a Special Operations Forces perspective to include
sensitive activities and overt operations.
? Coordinate with force providers and higher HQs (USSOCOM and
USSOUTHCOM) to ensure timely submission of effects requests for dynamic
and deliberate targeting.
? Provide targeting advice to SOCSOUTH staff relative to Special
Operations plans and capabilities as directed by the J3.
? Attend meetings as required to provide operational targeting
information/status updates to the command and staff.
? Serve as a synchronizer and lead contributor for the Joint Fires
Support Cycle operational planning in JPGs and OPTs based on SOF
knowledge, regional expertise, legal authorities, and operational
planning capacity.
? Attend all community of interest meetings and video teleconferences as
required.
? Liaise with Geographical Combatant Commands (GCCs) staffs, Theater
Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), USSOUTHCOM components, and
subordinate staffs to facilitate effects into SOCSOUTH targets and the
development of strategic & operational-level plans.
Qualifications:
? 10 years prior military experience, experience working in a SOF
headquarters required.

The Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for oversight for the
Recovering Service Member (RSM) and family through the continuum of
care. Responsibilities encompass the full spectrum of care, services,
and benefits needed for holistic recovery of the whole person and
life?long continuity of care.

1. Serve as focal point to assist the RSM in his/her course through the
entire spectrum of non-medical care, management, reintegration and
rehabilitation services available from the Federal Government, including

2. Communicate with the RSM and his/her family or other individuals

12. Inactivate the CRP when the RSM has met all goals or declines
further support and maintain all documents according to applicable
USSOCOM policies.
13. Consult and collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams during initial
treatment phase and continuing throughout the continuum of care,
including support during the disability evaluation system process.
14. Ensure the RSM, family, and/or caregivers have access to all medical
and non-medical care management services including, but not limited to
medical care, rehabilitation, education, employment-related programs,

The Recovery Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for oversight for the
Recovering Service Member (RSM) and family through the continuum of

1. Serve as focal point to assist the RSM in his/her course through the

2. Communicate with the RSM and his/her family or other individuals

3. In accordance with current DoD and VA Interagency Care Coordination,
serve as the lead coordinator responsible for the development and
delivery of services/resources through the Comprehensive Recovery Plan
(CRP) to ensure quality care and accountability as soon as the RSM
transitions to outpatient status.
4. Conduct a needs assessment for the RSM and family to identify goals
and ensure needs are met. Based on RSM?s needs, develop, implement, and
provide oversight of the CRP as defined in DODI 1300.24.
5. Conduct CRP briefings with RSM?s unit leadership and/or unit
immersion briefings for newly assigned unit commanders within 60-days of
assignment as directed by Site Lead (SL) or Regional Lead (RL.)
6. Investigate, assess, and reassess when necessary; all client cases
involving multiple variables to determine both tangible and intangible
needs across the spectrum of DoD care domains within the CRP.
7. Seek the best possible outcome for the RSM through conventional and
unconventional processes per governing regulatory guidance. Utilize all
available sources, e.g. the National Research Directory lists, SOF
specific information and benefits, VA benefits, programs, and Family
Readiness Centers to develop comprehensive solutions within the DoD care
domains of the RCP.
8. Establish trust and build rapport with stakeholders in the warrior
care process to effectively influence COA execution.
9. Facilitate expeditious and timely delivery of treatment and service.
Identify gaps in medical/non-medical services, intervene as necessary to
expedite outcomes and assist with coordination of resources to develop
and improve outcomes for enhanced delivery of services such as financial
counseling, spouse employment assistance, respite care information, and
childcare assistance, etc. and resources available through the National
Resource Directory and other sources.
10. Ensure detailed updates are made to the CRP as defined in applicable
guidance and USSOCOM operational requirements.
11. Coordinate/communicate to ensure successful transfer of RSM?s CRP
should he/she be moved to a different location for care.
12. Inactivate the CRP when the RSM has met all goals or declines
further support and maintain all documents according to applicable
USSOCOM policies.
13. Consult and collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams during initial
treatment phase and continuing throughout the continuum of care,

Qualifications:

Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 2-4 Star level Service/GCC HQs
? Minimum of 2 years? experience directly interfacing with senior staff
(O6/GOFO) at the TSOC, Component, GCC, Service, Interagency level
? Excellent presentation, communication, and organization skills
? Must have Spanish language proficiency to pass annual DLPT with a
minimum score of 2/2
? Must possess and maintain a current Secret clearance.

Good afternoon.
Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. (SSU) is currently recruiting for *a
Global Force Management (GFM) Technician* to support United States
Special Operation Command ? Korea (SOCKOR). This opportunity is an
on-site / office position for an active contract.
*Location:*? USAG - Humphreys, ROK
*Security Clearance:*? TS, SCI eligible
*Duties and Responsibilities*
* The GFM Technician shall serve as a duty specialist for global force
management working semi-independently and in coordination with the
SOCKOR future operations division chief, the USFK, US Indo-Pacific
Command (USINDOPACOM) and USSOCOM global force management action
officers to accomplish a broad range of force management duties.
* Management of SOCKOR records in joint force management databases.
* Drafting and presenting of briefs to General Officer / Flag Officers.
* Performs the duties as a command lead action officer liaising with
the GFM community.
* When required, shall attend GFM workshops, sourcing conferences, and
planning meetings.
* Coordinates with exercise planners to ensure force management
procedures and functions are performed during SOCKOR and USFK
exercises.
* Analyze and conduct assessments on operational, force, or future
risks to SOCKOR?s 5 rotational, emergent, and contingency force
requirements which are sourced and unsourced by the JFPs while
recommending alternative force sourcing solutions which will meet
mission accomplishment.
* Coordinates between SOCKOR GFM, plans, operations and logistics
action officers and planners with counterparts from the USFK J3 GFM
directorate to ensure there is synchronization between USINDOPACOM
and SOCKOR rotational, emergent, contingency, exercise, and
individual augmentee requirements.
* Participate in cross-staff efforts related to force posture.
* Coordinates between the USINDOPACOM and the JFP joint requirements
capability functional area subject matter experts to define, refine,
source, and manage force requirements in the joint force management
tools, joint capabilities requirements management (JCRM) tool, joint
event scheduling system, and logbook.
* Ensures all allocated SOCKOR forces in support of USFK operations
are accounted for and properly tracked during the identification,
sourcing, pre-deployment training, deployment, and redeployment phases.
* Knowledge and skill in the application of the various tools employed
to conduct force management operations to include the JS action
process, message preparation and retrieval using the automated
message handling system, and joint force management tools including
joint capabilities requirements management tool, joint event
scheduling system, and logbook.
* Up to 1-2 Temporary Duty (TDY) trips per quarter, to locations
outside of Korea, to include Honolulu, Hawaii, Norfolk, Virginia,
and Tampa, Florida; TDY is usually 1-2 weeks in duration.
* Provide administrative support for daily office operations to
include, but not limited to, managing office and other IT equipment,
maintaining calendars, drafting routine branch-level correspondence,
status reports on assigned projects, and internal directorate
tasks/suspenses based on information provided by the Government.
* Coordinate / process briefings, reports, and necessary written
correspondence in response to taskings to ensure the completion of
actions on schedule; collect and disseminate information in support
of taskings; and perform quality assurance checks for all
correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards,
policies, and guidance within SOCKOR.
* Live and work in an operational environment when required (e.g.,
semiannual exercises operating from CP Tango, FOS-I, USAG-Daegu).
* The work of this position is sedentary; however, light physical
effort is required.
* This position shall be designated a Mission Essential Contractor (MEC).
*Qualifications: *
* Fluently speak, read, and write English.
* One year experience in a Global Force Management at the component,
sub-unified Command, or above level
* Excellent written and expert knowledge of the missions, functions,
and interrelationships between the department of defense, JS,
combatant commands, and the interagency community to develop and
implement command wide policies, programs, procedures, and
strategies for global force management.
* Familiarity with the use of Microsoft and SharePoint products
* Thorough understanding of the Request for Forces (RFF) process
* Ability to work in a high tempo, high stress environment with
minimal oversight.
* Valid Korean or International Driver?s License
