KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES Performs a variety of technical supply management/warehousing duties in accordance with applicable standards and procedures (i.e., inventory and material handling, shipping and receiving, records handling, Defense Reutilization Marketing Office (DRMO) turn-ins, equipment and office location moves, etc.). Ensures the storage, issuance, replenishment, and surveillance of supply line items; maintaining an equipment inventory listing; purchasing office supplies; ordering forms, receiving supplies and forms, inventory count, and performing record keeping. Obtains, temporarily stores and issues all supplies. Leads and mentors assigned staff. Provides training to ensure the achievement of maximum performance. Manages, tracks, and maintains supplies in a warehouse space in support of installation tasks. Receives, inspects, processes, stores, issues, turns-in and exercises control over all incoming supplies at the warehouse. Supports warehouse/supply teams as needed in inventory tracking, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related material. Accepts, monitors, controls deliveries and obtains/maintains copies of all documentation while staying vigilant to protect physical security. Operates automated equipment, special purpose government vehicles, and material handling equipment. Coordinates across departments before disposing or removing what is considered excess material. Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies supporting maintenance requirements in accordance with established policies and procedures. Reviews and evaluates in coordination with appropriate departments all purchase requests for complete and accurate information. Tracks progress of materials/purchase requests to completion. Supports inventory control, creating, supporting implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Researches discrepancies and processes adjustments. Utilizes experience to support Warehouse planning. Performs research (predominantly online) to obtain and record information on parts and materials. Supports and guides team to obtain equipment and materials at fair and reasonable prices. Prepares material for shipment and storage. Provides guidance and assistance to team with implementation of a computerized inventory system (GEM). Enforces compliance for handling hazardous material commonly used in installations (e.g., paint, cleaning solvents, lithium batteries). Reports and maintains inventory levels for commonly used materials (e.g., #10-32 x ½” screws). Accurately completes assignments in a timely manner; monitors team as required. Obtains, temporarily stores and issues all supplies. Operates, manages and maintains all established warehouse / storage areas and temporary locations. Works closely with warehouse, supply and customer facility managers to ensure compliance with customer and contractual agreements.  Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output. Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three (3) years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
