Strategic Solutions Unlimited, Inc. (SSU) is currently recruiting for a
*Public Affairs Specialist* to support Special Operations Public Affairs
(SOPA) and Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT). This position
is also the Site Lead position.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
VISUAL STORYTELLING & PHOTOGRAPHY
•Capture professional-grade photography of command events, leadership
activities, and missions for use in internal and external communication
products.
•Edit and curate visual content to DOW standards and submit to
enterprise-level systems (e.g., DVIDS) as appropriate.
•Collaborate with layout designers and content developers to ensure
visuals support strategic messaging goals.
ARTICLE WRITING & EDITORIAL CONTENT
•Develop and write a variety of engaging content, including news
articles, human-interest features, and command updates, for
dissemination across internal and external communication channels. This
role ensures all written materials are clear, compelling, and maintain a
high standard of quality while consistently reflecting the
organization's mission and strategic messaging.
•Work with subject matter experts (SMEs), personnel from various SOCOM
sub-organizations, and other stakeholders to gather content, conduct
interviews and research to develop accurate and engaging content that
reflects the command’s mission and values.
•Ensure compliance with DOW and command editorial policies and review
processes.
DESIGN AND LAYOUT OF PUBLICATIONS
•Responsible for the graphic design and layout of various print and
digital communication materials. This involves creating visually
appealing and effective designs for publications, informational
products, and other collateral to ensure a cohesive and professional
brand identity across all organizational communications. Maintain
consistent visual branding in line with command identity and DOW standards.
•Coordinate with print vendors or internal production resources to
ensure high-quality final products.
MEDIA MONITORING, RESEARCH & ANALYSIS
•Constantly monitor and analyze news, blogs, podcasts, and other media
sources to assess sentiment, how the command and its operations are
portrayed, and potential reputational risks.
•Conduct open-source Media Research to spot emerging issues or concerns
and assess narrative developments in media coverage related to military
operations, DOW policy, and geopolitical developments and provide
actionable insights to PA leadership.
•Generate daily, specific, and as needed media update and analysis
reports for leadership and offer actionable feedback based on the
effectiveness of key messages, tone, and command communication strategies.
*Qualifications: *
•Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism,
English, Marketing, or a related field.
•Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in public
affairs, journalism, strategic communications, or media relations
•Minimum 4 years of public affairs experience at the E-6/O-4 level
within the Department of War, federal government, or national security
environment, with demonstrated experience supporting high-level military
commands or executive communications.
•At least 3 years of experience in layout and design of print/digital
publications, Photography and visual content production.
•Proficient in DVIDS, and/or other DOW media management platforms
•Minimum 2 years of experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite
•Understanding of the Joint Information Environment (JIE), Information
Operations (IO), and Strategic Communication principles.

5. Antiterrorism-Physical Security Positions in AL and GA
Weatherford Group, Inc. is identifying qualified Antiterrorism-Physical
Security professionals in support of an emerging requirement. Selected
candidates will be considered for placement upon contract award.
Locations (3 openings): Camp Williams, UT (19th SFG(A)) - Birmingham, AL
(20th SFG(A)) - Fort Benning, GA (75th Ranger Regiment).
Clearance: Active TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility.
Schedule: Full-time, on-site. Monday–Friday, 0730–1630, not to exceed 40
hours per week. Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel.

* Support Guerrilla and OPFOR reception, post-operation activities,

land-use coordination.
* Develop and maintain continuity products and assist Cadre with
scenario briefs, training schedules, transportation requests, air
support requests, weapons requests, and supply requests.
* Assist with classroom, field, and Robin Sage training; support
safety oversight and halt training when an unsafe act is observed.
* Support the health, welfare, safety, accountability, and
administrative management of contracted role players and associated
equipment and sensitive items.
*Basic Qualifications:*
* Army qualified, in good standing, 18 series Military Occupational
Specialty (MOS) with a minimum of seven (7) years of experience.
* Current and valid SECRET security clearance.

Information Assurance Technician Level I

pack, or rucksack and water containers.
* When assigned as select OPFOR or Guerrilla personnel, travel
cross-country up to two kilometers with a 30-pound rucksack/daypack
as required by the exercise.
* When captured or killed in the scenario, comply with approved search
procedures, including the required pat-down search.
*Basic Qualifications:*
* Be able to simulate combat and perform assigned OPFOR/Guerrilla
role-player duties in accordance with the exercise scenario, Cadre
direction, and applicable safety procedures.
* Be able to perform in an austere field environment during all
weather conditions, day and night, during field duties.
* Be physically capable of performing the prescribed role-player
mission and complete the required medical/physical clearance for
participation when applicable.
* Select OPFOR and Guerrilla role players must be capable of traveling
up to two kilometers cross-country with a 30-pound rucksack or
daypack when required.
* Select OPFOR role players must be able to obtain an FAA Part 107
Remote Pilot Certificate with a Small UAS Rating when assigned to
the applicable UAS role.

The Persistent Cyber Training Environment (PCTE) supports United States
Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) by meeting a critical need for the DoD and
Joint Cyberspace Operations Forces to train at the individual, team, and
force level. PCTE is an online platform that gives Cybercom’s cyber
mission force access from anywhere in the world for individual training,
collective training, and mission rehearsal. It is one of the five
elements of the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture (JCWA) and is
managed on behalf of Cybercom and the joint cyber force by the Army’s
Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation.
The program has matured well past initial fielding. The infrastructure
team now sustains a fleet of enterprise environments in parallel —
development, test, and multiple production systems — while
simultaneously standing up new environments, executing platform-wide
version upgrades, replacing hardware in place, and integrating a growing
catalog of mission applications. This role sits at the center of that work.
*Responsibilities*
* Design, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3
infrastructure across Cisco Nexus (NX-OS) and Catalyst platforms in
spine/leaf data center fabrics — VLANs, port-channels, vPC,
trunking, BGP peering and advertisement, prefix-lists, route-maps,
VRFs, and access-lists.
* Build and maintain F5 BIG-IP configurations including virtual

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree with 10 years of related military experience //OR//
15 years of military experience in lieu of degree.
* Current, active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to
obtain SCI eligibility.
* Operational Space based experience.
* Experience in the integration of space-based effects into multi-domain
vignettes for activities to achieve training objectives during exercise
execution.

• Support deployment and operation of generative and agentic AI
capabilities using private large language models
• Integrate AI Workbench capabilities into engineering, testing, and
automation workflows, including CI/CD pipelines
• Develop and execute automated scripts and test automation to validate
AI-enabled capabilities
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security, ensuring
compliance with secure and responsible AI frameworks aligned to federal
requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, testing, and data teams to onboard and
support AI use cases
• Capture metrics and ensure quality and governance standards are met,
• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
*REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: *
• Minimum 3 years’ experience Platform administration, Test automation
frameworks, scripting, and CI/CD integration, AI/ML platforms, large
language models, or AI-enabled tooling, administering AI/ML, generative
AI platforms in secured environments, AI frameworks and federal
compliance requirements, Oracle technologies and PeopleSoft enterprise
data sources, with Agile/SAFe methodologies, on/in a US Federal
Government DoD systems.
• REQUIRED EDUCATION: BS/BA STEM Degree or Related Fields.
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s): CompTIA Security+.
• REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Active Secret.
