SpecPro Professional Services (SPS) is seeking an experienced Environmental Outreach/Planning to support the environmental division of the U.S. Army Reserve (USAR) 63rd Regional Support Command (RSC) in Mountain View, California. The 63rd manages over 200 USAR facilities located in Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, and California.
Responsibilities:
• Revise Integrated Pest Management Plan(IPMP). Select and purchase and ship individual self-help pest kits (up to 30) to each AFOS.
• Facilitate implementation of the Qualified Recycling Program as appropriate by working with the HazardousWaste PM and DPW Operations Team.
• Perform waste/recycling management tasks. This support will include, but is not limited to, establishing and/or operating waste management and/or recycling systems;and validating and signing Hazardous Waste Manifests as a specifically delegated and authorized agent(in conformance with applicable regulations) of the 63rd RSC for excess inventory, confiscated materials,Hazardous Material disposal, chemicals,solids, and cathode ray rubes(CRT). As needed, update Qualified Recycling Plan (QRP). Obtain recycling brochures and other educational pamphlets from recycling companies and distribute to facilities.
• Ensure implementation ofQRP.
• PM shall update Integrated Pest Management Plan (IPMP). IPMP was recently revised under a separate contract. The update will require minimal work because it only requires incorporating changes to the IPMP since the last revision.
• PM will write and distribute the Quarterly Environmental Newsletter. The Environmental Newsletter will be distributed quarterly to 63d RSC personnel, other RSC Environmental Division Chiefs and environmental staff, and ARIM environmental, operations,policy, and plans staff. The Newsletter shall be created using desk top publishing software. The Newsletter will be distributed in the summer,fall, winter, and spring. PM will revise the Newsletter based on comments from the Training Branch Chief, PMs,AEMs, PAO, DPW, and Environmental Division Chief. The DPW will have final approval.
• Develop EQCC slides quarterly in coordination with the DAC EPAS Program Manager. EQCC presentations will be concise and updated based on DPW and Environmental Chief comments. In general the EQCC slides will not exceed 20 slides. Final slides will be submitted to the Environmental Division Chief for approval 3 weeks prior to the EQCC date or based on the Commander’s schedule.
• Responsible for taking EQCC minutes and writing and staffing the final minutes for Chief of Staff or CGsignature. Responsible for creating and maintaining the EQCC distribution list. Responsible for drafting, finalizing, and distributing the EQCC Agenda to the EQCC distribution list. Responsible for sending EQCC attendance reminders. Responsible for distributing the final EQCC minutes. The agenda, minutes, and reminders will be finalized and distributed in accordance with the DPW and Chief of Staff schedules.
• Manage Environmental Division Awards Program. Responsible for ensuring Awards nomination forms are distributed to appropriate voting parties. Responsible for collecting the nominations and facilitating the voting process. Responsible for writing, staffing,and distributing the awards memo to be signed by the 63d RSC Commanding General. Responsible for writing,staffing, and distributing a 63d RSC Awards Program SOP.
• Assist Training PM with planning and implementing 2 environmental workshops per year. Assist Training PM with planning and implementing 20% of 2 DPW Workshops per year.
• Plan, coordinate and implement up to 4 public meetings per year in support of the environmental review process. The public meetings will be 2-3 hours in length. Provide up to 5 formal posters per meeting, comment cards, and sign-in sheets. Provide up to 4 Power Point presentations to support these meetings. Attend meetings and coordinate set-up and clean-up.Ship necessary materials to the meeting location and ship materials back to HQas required.
Education/Experience:
• Shall possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Planning or a related field from an accredited university
• Have 10 years of experience and advanced knowledge in managing outreach,integrated pest management, • EPCRA, environmental training, and noise abatement programs

The Diesel Mechanics are in direct support to EODSU and EODTEU One and report to the PM. They are responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of tactical vehicles and associated tools and equipment at the assigned shop. This posting is for several positions at two locations.
Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures; repair and maintain diesel and gasoline engines and military CESE equipment (MRAP, JERRV, HMMWV, 15 Ton truck, common commercial vehicles).
• Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and steering systems.
• Maintain and repair chassis, frames and bodies.
• Operate hoisting and jacking equipment, power tools, measuring instruments, gauges and meters; lubricating equipment; maintaining and repairing tires, batteries, brakes and valves.
• Perform shop management functions such as maintenance scheduling and spare parts inventory control.
• Operate Government Vehicles for the purpose of diagnosis and testing of equipment faults and completed repairs.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance assigned in accordance with Navy PMS standards.
Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years experience as a certified Diesel Mechanic and certified Small Engine Mechanic.
• Capable of Operating test equipment, electrical hand tools, basic hand tools.

Overview:
The Combat Skills Instructors are team members and will serve as the SMEs for all weapons systems, tactics and procedures, equipment, and essential gear. There are many opportunities in our area for outdoor recreation. Yosemite National Park, Mammoth Lakes Ski Resort, and many back-roads for for hiking, biking, fishing, ATV/UTV travel are a few of the amenities right out our back door. Hawthorne is a patriotic and peaceful town.
Duties: The Network Administrator will manage the Corporate and Government local area network and wide area network systems. The Network Administrator will exercise discretion and independent judgment to facilitate the goals and objectives of the network management plan.
Responsibilities:
• To plan and implement the content and procedures, data organization, data storage and security for all computer and network systems. • Plan and acquire resources in support of the local and wide area networks. • Plan and coordinate the utilization and implementation of all automated information systems, sub systems and their resources in the information network to support the requirements for the corporation. • Oversee computer resources and planning for computer support for the local and wide area networks, network development, administration, maintenance, enhancements and special projects related to the appropriate requirements of the network systems. • Provide System security to the local and wide area networks as required by the IT security plan. • Must be able to operate a computer connected terminal device.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Fire Chief, serves as the Fire Department Safety Officer and manages the Department Safety Program in accordance with NFPA 1500/1521. Responsible for the execution of the fire prevention program, conduct fire risk management assessment/surveys assuring hazardous conditions are rectified. Participate in the fire education of all HWAD employees and residents. Review all instruction, alteration, conversion, maintenance, and repair for life safety requirements. Maintain, inspect and test all fire protection systems on the depot. Work requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. May be assigned occasional duties of a higher level of difficulty than those listed above. Maintain high ethical standards, overall values of the business, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct to include cooperating during Company investigations; treat all individuals fairly and with respect. Acts as Incident Command during emergency situations as needed. Serves as Supervisor of secondary crew when made necessary by Operations.

• Serve as a Special Staff Officer to the Chief. Recommend changes in the Standing Operating Procedures to improve Branch functions. Assist engine companies when needed and respond to all emergencies, major
accidents, fire or explosions, oil and hazardous materials spills, and accidents occurring in confined spaces. Serves as supervisor for secondary crew when necessary. • Prepare and manage required reports, records, and schedules for building inspections, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, hot work permits, pre-plan review and fire drills. • Perform fire prevention inspections, review plans and drawings to ensure life safety on all types of buildings, structures, recreation buildings, residences, offices, shops, ordnance areas, etc. Inspections include housekeeping, fire doors, sprinklers, panic hardware, various tools, appliances, proper segregation and aisle space, and all first aid firefighting appliances. • Conduct inspection of sprinkler and other built-in fire protection systems installed in buildings. Perform pre-operational and post-operational inspections of oil, gas, and electrical equipment or any other heat-producing equipment used on Depot. • Assist engine companies when needed and responds to all emergencies that may be a result of natural forces, major accidents, fire or explosions, oil and hazardous materials spills, and/or accidents occurring in confined spaces. If first to arrive assumes Incident Command until relieved by the Senior Fire Officer. • Responsible for reporting potential real environmental concerns to the Environmental Service.
Position Requirement:
• U.S. Citizen • Fire Officer 1, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor III, HAZ-Mat IC, A.S. Degree in fire science or related field or equivalent in education and experience. • Four (4) years' experience as a Firefighter with broad knowledge of Fire Protection/Prevention. A good working knowledge of the care, operation, and maintenance of all fire equipment is essential. A thorough knowledge of the Hawthorne Army Depot (HWAD) layout is essential. • Must be able to read blueprints and drawings and interpret fire code. Must be able to obtain and maintain certification through the Private Investigators Licensing Board (PILB).
Certifications:
