*JOB TITLE: *Exercise Planner Support Team
*Job Location*: Homestead ARB, FL
*Duties/Responsibilities: *
This position will provide SOF exercise expertise to support the
planning and execution of exercises in the SOUTHCOM AOR.
? Coordinate with external forces such as SOF, Army, Air Force, Navy,
Marine Corps, and Partner Nations for participation in the exercises.
? Work with participating units to accomplish tasks such as field
training, logistical support activities, amphibious landings, airborne
and ground maneuvers, air operations, maritime operations, and Special
Operations activities.
? Maintain currency, relevancy, and awareness of SOF and joint
enterprise training requirements through research of past and current
operations, joint exercise instructions, and SOF doctrine.
? Participate in working groups, conferences, and meetings to support
unit exercise requirements.
? Maintain cooperative relationships with operational and strategic
level planners and leaders in the USSOCOM HQs, USSOCOM Components,
USSOUTHCOM, USSOUTHCOM Components, and other organizations to facilitate
a synchronized effort in exercise design and execution across the
community of interest.
? Support exercise design, Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) planning,
scenario scripting, training, and observations where necessary.
? Create or review training events concepts, to include purpose,
objectives, broad scenario characteristics, processes, and products to
support the mission and objectives of the training event?s sponsor.
? Execute other duties as required to support the SOCSOUTH J37 team in
the accomplishment of their duties and responsibilities related to
training and exercises.
Qualifications:
? 10 years prior military experience, SOF experience required.
? Minimum of 2 years? experience serving in a command, senior enlisted
advisor, or primary staff billet in a SOF HQs (USSOCOM/TSOC/Component),
Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 2-4 Star level Service/GCC HQs
? Minimum of 2 years? experience directly interfacing with senior staff
(O6/GOFO) at the TSOC, Component, GCC, Service, Interagency level
? Excellent presentation, communication, and organization skills
? Must have Spanish language proficiency to pass annual DLPT with a
minimum score of 2/2
? Must possess and maintain a current Secret clearance.

Firearms and Toolmark Examiner. This position is based out of Ft.
Gillem, GA (Atlanta area). The work is done OCONUS only. A skills
assessment is required (~4-5 months in Atlanta); hotel and per diem will

all aspects of air, ground and maritime environments while effectively

You will work as part of a multifunctional team of subject matter

*AOC/IOC-G Senior Instructor/Content Developer Responsibilities Include: *
? Conducts geospatial analysis of objects, networks, and persons using
geospatial tools, methodologies, spatial-temporal data, imagery, social
and physical sciences.
? Exploits imagery, vector, and other data types to include
non-geospatially correlated data to locate, identify, and map objects in
the spatial domain.
? Provides analysis on, but is not limited to, terrain mapping, route
planning, and maritime geospatial activity.
? Accountable for all aspects of the IOC-G course functions.
? Conducts close coordination with the IOC-G Course Manager and the All
Source Working Group members for all aspects of IOC-G course changes and
updates
? Responsible for the synchronization and nesting of course material
associated with the training trajectory courses for AOC-G.
? Manage the hands on, day-to-day accountability of IOC-G courses
instruction and delivery.
? Create course content based on AOC-G Course Manager and Working Group
inputs.
? Accountable for creating, editing, managing, and maintaining lesson
plans, practical exercises, testable material (test bank), full Training
Support Packages (TSPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
? Synchronize input from the AOC-G Course Manager and GEOINT Working
Group members.
? Work directly with the AOC-G Course Manager and the GEOINT Working
Group members to assess current and future course material.
? Assists in the development, execution, update, and continual evolution
of the IOC-G training trajectory courses through working groups,
emerging technologies, and AAR reviews.
? Accountable for instructing, providing instruction assistance, and
appropriate scenario development for all courses under the IOC-G.
? Coordinate and facilitates training and instruction in large and small
group settings with units across the enterprise.
? Supports exercises and training in a variety of instructional
environments to include classrooms, MTT locations,

environments, and collective active-learning environments

Skills, Abilities requested: *
? Minimum 12 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and
experience related to the specific labor category with at least a
portion of the experience within the last 2 years
? Minimum 12 years of experience as a 35G, 350G, 12Y, 125D
? Minimum of 5 years operational experience with Program of Record
GEOINT Systems (i.e. Tactical Intelligence Ground Station (TGS),
Geospatial Intelligence Workstation (GWS), Operational Ground Station
(OGS), AMDAS Dissemination Vehicle (ADV)).

* The GFM Technician shall serve as a duty specialist for global force
management working semi-independently and in coordination with the
SOCKOR future operations division chief, the USFK, US Indo-Pacific

officers to accomplish a broad range of force management duties.
* Management of SOCKOR records in joint force management databases.

capability functional area subject matter experts to define, refine,
source, and manage force requirements in the joint force management
tools, joint capabilities requirements management (JCRM) tool, joint
event scheduling system, and logbook.
* Ensures all allocated SOCKOR forces in support of USFK operations
are accounted for and properly tracked during the identification,
sourcing, pre-deployment training, deployment, and redeployment phases.
* Knowledge and skill in the application of the various tools employed
to conduct force management operations to include the JS action
process, message preparation and retrieval using the automated
message handling system, and joint force management tools including
joint capabilities requirements management tool, joint event
scheduling system, and logbook.
* Up to 1-2 Temporary Duty (TDY) trips per quarter, to locations
outside of Korea, to include Honolulu, Hawaii, Norfolk, Virginia,
and Tampa, Florida; TDY is usually 1-2 weeks in duration.
* Provide administrative support for daily office operations to
include, but not limited to, managing office and other IT equipment,
maintaining calendars, drafting routine branch-level correspondence,
status reports on assigned projects, and internal directorate
tasks/suspenses based on information provided by the Government.
* Coordinate / process briefings, reports, and necessary written
correspondence in response to taskings to ensure the completion of
actions on schedule; collect and disseminate information in support
of taskings; and perform quality assurance checks for all
correspondence to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards,
policies, and guidance within SOCKOR.
* Live and work in an operational environment when required (e.g.,
semiannual exercises operating from CP Tango, FOS-I, USAG-Daegu).
* The work of this position is sedentary; however, light physical
effort is required.
* This position shall be designated a Mission Essential Contractor (MEC).
*Qualifications: *
* Fluently speak, read, and write English.
* One year experience in a Global Force Management at the component,
sub-unified Command, or above level
* Excellent written and expert knowledge of the missions, functions,
and interrelationships between the department of defense, JS,
combatant commands, and the interagency community to develop and
implement command wide policies, programs, procedures, and
strategies for global force management.
* Familiarity with the use of Microsoft and SharePoint products
* Thorough understanding of the Request for Forces (RFF) process
* Ability to work in a high tempo, high stress environment with
minimal oversight.
