1. TDC Network Control Center Instructor- Savannah, GA
Shall provide TDC Network Control Center deployable systems maintenance and
training support for the Cyber Training Center. The mission requirement is to provide support
and training in the operation and maintenance of Theater Deployable Communication equipment packages.
Skill-set Requirements:
Associate’s degree (A.S.) from an accredited two year college in Computer Science,
Engineering or closely related field
Significant experience in software and hardware related communications to include
servers, firewalls, proxy servers, network area storage devices, switches, and intrusion
detection devices, preferably a mix of operational experience and developing course
materials. 7+ years preferred.
Experience with U.S. laws, DoD policies, Air Force and ANG regulations, and NGB and
state policies applicable to the processes outlined above, as well as with applicable
automated systems, is highly desired.
Strong organizational skills and a confident, detail-oriented, customer-oriented, positive
mindset will be a great asset to this position. Additional skills required are as follows:
Extensive experience with VMWare ESXi server architecture
Experience with Windows Server 2012, Window Server 2016, Windows 7, and Windows
10
Must have experience with Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) NCC-D
equipment

Tasks are as follows:
Provide instruction/training to communicators and visiting units to operate and maintain
Air Force Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) Equipment, specifically on
Network Control Center –Deployed equipment. Provide one on one instruction with unit
personnel on deployed communications procedures and techniques.
Determine educational requirements of field units and design curriculum to meet their
needs
Apply Field Change Orders to various data systems
Design various scenarios that reinforce the center’s training curriculum.
Provide on the job training and Level 2 & 3 Support on operations and maintenance for
TDC systems.
Maintain accountability of property issued to each member.
Coordinate with agencies designated by government on operational missions using TDC
equipment.
Develop and submit standard operating procedures (SOPs), tactics, techniques, and
procedures, and other documents required to support day-to-day and deployed command,
control, communications, and computer system (C4) operations.
Prepare and submit reports, information papers, and briefings as mission requirements
dictate. These include but are not limited to Operation Readiness Reports, Quarterly
updates, Satellite Access Requests/Gateway Access Requests and cut sheets.
Coordinate tasks required to prepare TDC systems for deployment, operation while
deployed, redeployment, and recovery. This will be done IAW government provided
directives and command, control, communications, and computer system (C4) team
developed and government approved checklists.
Manage various projects to include any new command, control, communications, and
computer system (C4) data missions assigned to the Training Center.
Complete all applicable field change orders and maintenance to assigned radio frequency
equipment in accordance with TDC program office parameters.
Provide COR with monthly activity report.

SUMMARY
Provide a variety of high-level comprehensive engineering services to customers in the field. Field Service Engineer may be required to travel frequently and for extended periods. Torch Technologies is currently seeking Cybersecurity professionals to provide Cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support to MDA systems. The candidate should have the capability and expertise to implement DoDD 8530.1, DoDD 8500.2, DoDI 8510.1, DoDI 8510.01, and other applicable Cybersecurity directives, instructions, and guidelines.
The experienced security professional will provide expertise to the MDA Certification and Accreditation (C&A), Cybersecurity Controls Validation Test (CCVT) teams in conducting risk assessments and building an overall threat picture of evaluated systems and networks. The candidate should be familiar with performing penetration/vulnerability assessments, Software Weakness Evaluations (CWE), knowledge of DoD network engineering/security standards, working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, NIST, DoD Information Technology Portfolio Repository (DITPR), eMASS, and other IA risk management applications and compliance reporting systems. Candidates must be familiar with DISA STIGs and IAVM requirements.
Candidate must have solid communication skills to explain characteristics and impacts of Information Technology (IT) vulnerabilities to BMD systems and networks in briefings to MDA senior leadership and system stakeholders.
Technical skill set and background with various operating systems, networking protocols, IDS/IPS/firewall technologies, and DoD assessment tools and methods.
Specific Requirements include:
• Per DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification. The list of minimum required certifications as follows: GIASC Security Essentials (GSEC), CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)
• 10 years of general IT experience with minimum of 5 years IAT experience
• Operating System required certifications: Windows or Unix/Linux
• Computing Environment certifications: DoDs Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), NESSUS, and NMap
Education: BS or higher technical degree is desired
Additional certifications beyond the minimum IAT II certifications are a plus (e.g. CISSP) and CEH certification is highly desired.
