Facilitate new and emerging asymmetric threat TTP dissemination. Assist DA Staff Link to FORSCOM/TRADOC to tie together training solutions within a larger tactical/operational environment. Assist command group in developing training programs for Soldiers and members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Interact with the concepts integration cell and intelligence exploitation cell in order to operate as a "red cell" team to develop counter asymmetric TTPs before the threats are realized. REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is preferred but not required with 11-13 years of relevant military related experience
• Should have sufficient relevant experience (11-13 years) with either the U.S. military or other federal government agency(ies) that demonstrates the ability to meet the duties described above. Ideally but not required- demonstrated experience should include over twenty (20) years of relevant experience in land warfare component combat arms organizations but MUST have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience with U.S. Special Operations Forces or U.S. Special Mission Units
• Expertise in terrorist, guerrilla and other asymmetric operations in order to advise the command on planning, training and equipping with experience in red force planning and special operations forces.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current operations and emerging military organizations, capabilities, and doctrine is desired.

• Demonstrated experience should illustrate ability to work independently (versus merely following established processes) and in small groups while possessing excellent oral and written skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills in to engage audiences ranging from junior enlisted Soldiers to General/Flag Officers.

11. Information Assurance Engineer (HAWAII) (TS/SCI)
IMMEDIATE HIRE: Information Assurance Engineer Position is in support of a DoD organization based at Camp Smith, Hawaii and with subordinate commands located throughout the Pacific Theater.
Overall Summary
Blue Light LLC is looking for an Information Assurance Engineer for our SOCPAC Team, the selected candidate will serve as an Information Assurance Analyst. This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization based at Camp Smith, Hawaii and with subordinate commands located throughout the Pacific Theater.
The candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with client managers, system and network administrators, and system users and will report directly to the Task Lead.
The candidate will be competent in all areas of information systems security, including network, application, database, physical, web vulnerabilities and common security design flaws. They will possess a deep understanding of the DoD 8570.0 requirements and DoD DIACAP processes. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for working with the IAM team while developing and maintaining a formal Information Assurance security program. The IAM will develop, implement and enforce Special Operations Forces (SOF) regional or command unique IA policies and comply with ITMO established IA requirements for units connecting to the SIE. The IAM will execute Connection Approval Process (CAP), GIG Interconnection Approval Process (GIAP), and Request for Services (RFS) and Interim Approval to Operate (lATO) packages as well as develop the Information Assurance vulnerability Assessment (lAVA) schedule and document results. The IAM will be responsible for coordinating, scheduling and / or conducting training for all Information Assurance Managers to include but not limited to RCERT training to conduct lAVAs. The lAM shall perform the duties listed in Section 5.9, DoDI 8500.2. Additionally, the IAM will be responsible for providing Intrusion Detection System (IDS), Host Based Security System (HBSS) and firewall support.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide written technical descriptions and contribute in the development of technical solutions in support of SOCPAC and JSOTF-P initiatives as directed.
• Technical background required with strong, current technical experience that must include: HBSS, ACAS, Bluecoat, Active Directory, Group Policies, and IDS.
• Need technical analysis, understanding where the malware is in a packet and understand log events.
• Ensure compliance with all IA Policies and Procedures. Assess, eliminate and document all systems vulnerabilities. Apply patches and adhere to IAVA requirements as directed.
• Develop and design network security infrastructure that provides consistent, responsive and secure enterprise network services.
• Monitor, manage, and coordinate daily incidents for network security operations across all SOCPAC networks.
• Measure the overall effectiveness of employing network defense capabilities during operations.
• Provide analytical analysis of quantitative and qualitative data from network operational security resources.
• Provide in-depth operational assessments to support current operations, provide support for the planning process, and provide security posture recommendations.
• Develop and maintain the proper certification and accreditation artifacts and documentation in accordance with Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) directives and Command policies for approval by the SOCPAC lAM.
• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of DRS and JSOTF-P.
• Performs daily tasks to ensure viability of the systems.
• Check and analyze logs for errors and security breaches.
• Performs preventive maintenance and system patching, planning and oversight of scheduling maintenance, and interfacing with the SOCPAC Information Assurance staff as necessary.
• Make recommendations on the development of enhancements, upgrades, and technical refreshes to maintain information security of the systems.
• Provide technical guidance as necessary.

Position Objective: The Program Manager helps to oversee daily functions and serves as the point-of-contact for the government for all matters concerning technical progress, problem resolution, performance, scheduling, cost resources and other related matters.

Plans Mission: Obtains briefing information on purpose of flight test, weather, operation procedures, intelligence and special instructions. Prepare and file flight clearance. Ensure the aircraft is preflight inspected, loaded, equipped and manned for mission. Assist in tracking all operational and support activities to include identifying support and intelligence assets required for biometrics and DOMEX operations mission. Monitors equipment availability and provides Corps level support to biometrics systems in the AOR, including but not limited to BAT, HIIDE, BISA, DHDS, and MEDEX.
Coordinate with users and providers of biometric and DOMEX intelligence to maximize installation plans and coordinates systems upgrades, software releases, and systems modifications. Coordinates with component commands and provides guidance and assistance concerning intelligence collection and policies as they pertain to Captured Enemy Documents (CED) and other foreign documents of value. Effective use of biometric and DOMEX data in support of full-spectrum operations; designs and implements biometrics architectural baselines in tactical environments. Coordinate, monitor, and evaluate all DOMEX projects to assure compliance with all applicable directives, regulations, and statues as well as mission goals and objectives.

Position Overview:
The Security Force Assistance (SFA) Advisor is a subject matter expert (SME) in the theory, doctrine, and practice of SFA operations. Brief Description: Network Security Engineer to support Missile Defense Agency Tier 2 Computer Network Defense (CND) Service Provider function within the MDA Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) on the JRDC program at Schriever AFB, CO.
Complete Description: Network Security Engineer to investigate and analyze all response activities related to computer security incidents. These tasks include, but are not limited to: creating and maintaining incident tracking information; planning, coordinating, and directing recovery activities; performing incident analysis tasks, including examining all available information and supporting evidence or artifacts related to an incident or event. Will use data collected from a variety of CND tools (including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs) to analyze events that occur within their environment. The Network Security Engineer performs assessments of systems and networks within the MDA and identifies where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Acceptable configuration shall be achieved through passive evaluations (compliance audits) and active evaluations (penetration tests and/or vulnerability assessments). The Network Security Engineer maintains knowledge of applicable CND policies, regulations, and compliance documents specifically related to MDA assets, performs CND vulnerability assessments within the enclave, performs CND risk assessments within the enclave, conducts authorized penetration testing of enclave network assets, analyzes site/enclave CND policies and configurations and evaluates compliance with regulations and enclave directives. This position will be required to work one of the following shifts: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm; 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm or 10:00 pm – 6:00 am (Sun-Thu/Tues-Sat).
Minimum Requirements: Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline and 8 years relevant experience. Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in Continuing Education (CE) with a Security+ certification. One of the following certifications may be substituted for Security+ IAW DoD 8570.1-M: GCIH, CSIH, CEH, GCFA, GSEC, SSCP, CCNA-Security or CISSP. Must be willing to work a mission critical shift. Shift will include evenings, nights, holidays and weekends. Must be willing to travel on short notice. Travel requirements will usually not exceed two weeks on any given assignment. Experience operating vulnerability assessment tools (e.g. Retina/ACAS, HBSS, etc.) and providing security analysis and solutions in a WAN/LAN environment is required. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a DoD Top Secert Clearance.
Preferred Requirements: Experience correlating security events across a WAN (ArcSight preferred). Familiarity with DOD security policies and procedures. Ability to work as part of an integrated network operations and support team.

Responsibilities include:
-Synchronizing the embedding of CAAT Advisors with support tactical and operational ISAF and Regional Command headquarters staffs across the theater

Requirements:

-Have extensive experience working in joint military and governmental interagency and deployed environments, and working and supervising personnel in austere and remote conditions
-Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities
-Have at least six months of recent experience, within the last 4 years, working with ISAF
-Be eligible for Secret Security Clearance
Working Conditions:
-International travel to high threat / high risk or austere areas required.
-Work is based in a fast paced facility/operational environment and subject to frequent interruptions.

Position Overview:
The Police/Law Enforcement Advisor is a law enforcement (LE) integration expert within the context of Security Force Assistance operations and theories. The position serves on a COMISAF Advisory and Assistant Team (CAAT) Regional Command (RC) Team located in Herat, Afghanistan, providing subject matter expertise to the Senior SFA Advisor to support CAAT HQ. Anticipated work is 180-day duty tours (maximum 16 days absence allowed), with 8 hours a day, 7 days a week working shifts to meet the CAAT Battle Rhythm, mission requirements, and assignment deadlines.
Responsibilities:
• Interface with both international and host nation LE elements to enable relevant analysis and recommendations to the CAAT Commander on police-related issues at multiple echelons.
• Provide analysis and recommended courses of action including, but not limited to National and Local police training, equipment, and manpower; synchronization of the nation’s police forces with the military for operational efficiency, and effects based analysis of the counter narcotics initiatives currently underway in the AF-PAK Area of Operations.

Education / Skills and Requirements:
• 15 years’ LE experience, including 3 years in senior supervisory positions (equivalent to military O4/GS13 or above) with US Federal, State, Local LE or equivalent coalition partner nation.
• 1 year recent and direct experience training and advising Afghan National level police agencies.
• 6 months within past 4 years working with ISAF
• Demonstrated understanding of US interagency and ISAF operations and procedures, particularly as they apply to LE training of the Afghan National Security Forces.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to communicate orally and in writing with employees, customers, and administration personnel. Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of finger dexterity, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion. Requires ability to constantly lift large and heavy objects and boxes and to repeatedly load and unload large objects throughout the shift. Must have ability to safely lift 50lbs. without assistance and to push and pull up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment. Requires significant demands on these physical requirements throughout entire work shift and requires tasks to be performed in all types of weather conditions. The worker is also required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment. The worker is subject to extreme heat and extreme cold: Temperatures above 100 degrees or below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
