This position is contingent upon award of contract.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Country Manager (CM) will be the Program Manager’s primary point
of contact for contract execution and coordination of the U.S. Department of
State’s complex, multifaceted Training Assistance Program in a designated third world country.
May serve as the CM for multiple countries.
Responsible for overall contract execution at his/her location and
assists the PM in managing the contract at that location.
The CM is the in-country manager of the workflow process at the
deployed location and manages all aspects of mission completion.
Receives mission guidance from the PM and APO and relays this
information to Shift Supervisors and/or Team Leaders for execution.
Manages personnel assignments and reassignments to different
in-country training tasks and missions.
Maintains accountability, quality, and efficiency standards of
productivity for deployed personnel.
Monitors and tracks movement of all FDR contractors traveling to,
working in, and departing the country the CM is deployed to.
Provides direction and oversight of day-to-day operations in-country training.
Coordinates and manages all in-country personnel and logistical
support for FDR contractors.
Ensures all instructor/trainers are prepared to teach and teach to
standards stipulated in APO task orders.
Inspects and supervises all in-country training. Liaises with Host
Nation, USG, and APO representatives.
Education and Experience:
The CM shall have a unique blend of skills, experience, and knowledge that
will allow the individual to best support the goals and tasks of the PKO
Program.
Minimum of 10 years military operations and training experience (or civilian
equivalent) required with a strong background in overseas program
operations.
Staff experience at battalion, brigade, or Special Forces B Team level (or
civilian equivalent) is preferred.

Any combination of training, experience, and/or education equivalent to
completion of college course work leading to an advanced degree, preferred.

Minimum of three to five years of increasingly responsible experience as a
Program Manager or Project Manager in the field of military training or in a
related area.

U.S. Military combat and/or PKO experience at O-3, 0-4, O-5, E-8, or E-9 (or
civilian equivalent) level who has completed U.S. Military Education Level 3
or 4 (Command and General Staff College or equivalent) completion
requirements.
Experience operating in areas with limited life cycle support and in
hardship conditions preferred.


PSO Specialty/Sniper Trainer- FDR, Inc. job posting #SA09-2

This position is contingent upon award of contract
Duties and Responsibilities:
Peace Support Operations (PSO) Sniper Trainers shall provide specialty instruction to host nations military units receiving U.S. Department of State’s Training Assistance Program training.
Guided by U.S. Army Field Manual 23-10, the trainer shall develop and conduct a Program of Instruction that follows as closely to U.S. Army standards for sniper training as the 6-week training schedule will allow. The training shall prepare the host nation soldiers to serve as snipers attached to units conducting PKO.
The trainer shall also include common PKO subjects to include, but not be limited to, human rights (to include protection of civilians, prevention of gender-based violence, elimination of sexual exploitation, prevention of trafficking in people, child protection and elimination of child soldiers), HIV/AIDS prevention, and an orientation to United Nations peacekeeping operations.

Education and Experience:

The PSO Sniper Trainer shall have a unique blend of skills, experience,
and knowledge that will allow that individual to best support the goals and
tasks of the DoS Training Assistance Program.

Minimum of five (5) years of U.S. military operations and training
experience in a Combat Arms, Combat Service, or Combat Service Support
specialty appropriate for the skills being taught.
Preferably an individual with recent U.S. Military combat and/or PKO
experience at E-5 thru O-5 level.
Experience operating in areas with limited life cycle support and in
hardship conditions preferred.
Training will involve classroom instruction, and predominantly range training.

All classes shall be taught in the training language of the Host Nation Military to include French for the first iteration and English for the remaining two iterations.

A. One full year of specialized experience. SELECTION & TRAINING PROCESS: Highly qualified applicants will be interviewed by a team consisting of experienced Cadre Members and Managers. The interview team will recommend applicants for selection. Multiple applicants may be selected. Selected applicants will be subject to preliminary security screening to be followed subsequently with a full review for a position of Public Trust.

Selected applicants will be invited to a one week Comptroller Basic Training Class to provide substantive information concerning the duties and responsibilities of the Finance and Administration Section Chief and prepare them for an extensive on the job training process. To be selected individuals must be available to attend this class. Following the class the Cadre Manager will work closely with each individual to arrange deployments for additional training in field operations under the direction of an experienced Comptroller.



Educational credentials in one or more of the following categories: Degree in Management, Finance or Accounting; graduate Degree; and professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CGFM or CDFM. Significant management experience may be considered as a substitute for the education credentials.
Before entering on duty you will be required to complete a CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL DISCLOSURE REPORT, OGE-450; You will be required to provide this information annually as long as you remain on the roles of the Agency as a Disaster Assistance Employee.

This position will serve as a technical writer in an organizational element having the responsibility to independently coordinate production of highly complex and diverse Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive (CBRNE) curriculum training. This position starts at a salary of $47,448 (GS-09). QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
You qualify for the GS-9 level (starting salary $47,448) if you possess one of the following:

One year of specialized experience. Specialized experience is experience in writing performance-based, experiential based, and blended learning training materials; analysis of subject matter and tasks/functions; analysis of instructional and exercise methodologies, use of software such as Adobe Professional and SharePoint; ensuring that materials meet the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Section 508 Compliance Standards.

OR
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Must have included a total of 15 semester hours in an appropriate scientific, technical, or social science field(s), and at least one course above the introductory level in the field(s) covered by the position. For technical manuals and specifications writers or editors, the equivalent of 15 semester hours may have been gained through vocational or educational training above the high school level at a public, private, or Armed Forces school.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Under supervision, the purpose of this position is provide information management support to manage Civil Information Management team in support of the Combined Joint Task Forces’ (CJTF’s) civil military operations (CMO) and activities at Bagram Air Field and other Forward Operating Bases (FOBs). Employees in this position will be responsible for the day-to-day management of administering CJTF CIM Policy.

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by college-level course work or vocational /specialize training with a minimum of three years experience in Information Technology, Information Management, or Geographic Information Systems. 21. Federal Protective Services will be in California for 3 days. They want to
visit Sothern California on the 7th or 8th of September. They hope to reach
Camp Pendleton and 32nd street NAVSTA, maybe MCRD so close to NAVSTA, if
possible, but they are not firm on the exact days.

They are looking for applicants that have a campaign ribbon for what I think
might be OEF/OIF combat service, a favorable Statement of Service from their
command and a passing score for their most recent physical fitness test.
According to them, this allows them to make and on the spot offer for

Project HIRED-Wounded Warrior is one of VETS’ California’s non-profit partners seeking veteran candidates for their Injured Veteran Internship Program. They are currently looking for injured veterans for internships in Denver and Colorado Springs, CO and Redwood City, CA. There is no specific one job description as these interns will work in various departments to receive various types of training over the next 12 months.
