Position Description: Caliola’s Software Defined Radio (SDR) Engineers support the development of novel wireless communications technologies and products by applying a combination of RF and mixed-signal capabilities and digital signal processing. They also support the design, development, and implementation of embedded software for wireless communications technologies and products. SDR Engineers work independently or under supervision across multiple projects within multiple business areas.
Technical Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and prototype innovative new technologies to implement software defined radio systems and test novel algorithms in GNU Radio.
Develop software and firmware source code in C/C++, Embedded C, and other languages to support Caliola’s products and prototypes.
Design, implement, and maintain the test harness used to support wireless communications product and prototype development.
Develop plans for SDR operational testing to demonstrate performance in communication and networking systems.
Optimize and refine SDR algorithms and implementations to meet evolving operational needs.
Work with Systems Engineers to define requirements for realizing new signal processing algorithms.
What We Require:
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Experience in developing radio systems from functional and simulation models.
Experience in developing communication system components for SDR frameworks like GNU Radio.
Experience with standard RF lab equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.).
Experience integrating SDR components with external systems and software.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. Government. Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. We are hiring a seasonal Utility Worker to support our Raw Water Operations team. In this job you will be responsible for maintaining over 20 Dams annually by removing vegetation, performing erosion control, rodent control, and removing debris to improve the reliability and safety of our infrastructure and water transmission system. As a Utility Worker, you will spend your days working in different beautiful, remote locations, performing skilled labor activities to maintain Colorado Springs Utilities' dams.

Removing vegetation growth from dams
Operating weed eaters/ mowers and troubleshooting grounds-keeping equipment
Performing work in remote locations
Managing time, projects, and activities, while working with a small crew

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a people-focused, results-oriented individual to build out and lead our Control Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will lead, mentor, coach, and develop a team of control system engineering experts while providing technical expertise and engineering leadership to support all aspects of control systems, instrumentation, and automation. This team oversees asset lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and tuning of control systems for industrial process applications that support our operations and maintenance personnel across all our utility services (electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater).
Working as a Control Systems Engineering Supervisor will include:
Serving as a technical lead for the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of control systems upgrades, new installations, and modifications in a variety of industrial process settings
Programming and configuring industrial automation applications, including DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of cyber security requirements within control networks
Specifying and procuring instrumentation, control systems, and supporting equipment
Developing, reviewing, and approving testing processes and procedures
Providing technical guidance and direction for the standardization of control systems across the organization

Operates a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. We are seeking a Sr. Equipment Specialist to provide support for weapons systems and associated equipment at Robins AFB. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities

Recommend appropriate corrective actions. Assist in evaluating technical adequacy and economic feasibility. Assist in determining the method of implementation, i.e., TCTO or technical order change. Support all aspects and levels of program IPTs to include but not limited to, engineering, program management, other equipment specialists, lead and chief engineers and civilian and military leadership within the division, other AFLCMC directorates, AFLCMC headquarters, AFRC, AMC, ACC, NGB, AFSOC, prime weapon system contractors and subcontractors, and other Government and private sector personnel. Assist Government equipment specialists, integrators and engineers in conducting special research projects as assigned. Support the USAF PM in all tasks related to this effort. Support trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/technical data verification. Assist in reporting findings, kit issues, and corrective actions and make recommendations to the responsible engineer or PM. Support feasibility studies and technical evaluations (with the exception of source selections) to ensure that systems, subsystems and equipment being developed are mutually compatible and serve to meet overall operational and technical requirements.
Qualifications
15+ years’ experience in equipment maintenance and support including at least 5 years working in a DoD environment. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment. Recommend areas for improvement and evaluate technical adequacy and economic feasibility. Possess the knowledge, experience and recognized ability in the technical/professional field, possess the ability to perform tasks and oversee the efforts of junior personnel within the technical/professional discipline. Demonstrate knowledge of technical/professional discipline as well as possess a comprehensive understanding and ability to apply associated standards, procedures and practices in their area of expertise. Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Acrobat, and applications for access to the world wide web including Microsoft Internet Explorer. We are seeking Service Technicians that are self-motivated, responsible, hard-working, punctual, and organized. We currently have openings in Charlotte, NC; Raleigh, NC; Knoxville, TN; Atlanta, GA; Columbia, SC; and Charleston, SC.
The candidate must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work directly with customers to deliver superior customer service. Service technicians independently diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with fitness equipment as well as perform scheduled preventative maintenance. This position requires travel to commercial and consumer locations to make repairs and conduct preventative maintenance on fitness equipment. The Operations Analyst will oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations of the organization and initiatives as they pertain to Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources, and is responsible for compliance to regulations and internal controls as well as supporting other company wide initiatives. • Liaise with other management to ensure consistency and smooth flow of information, policies and procedures.
• Maintains a professional work environment with supervisors, managers and staff.
• Be knowledgeable of industry trends, new technology and practices as they relate to his/her area(s) of responsibility.
• Be knowledgeable of industry CRM platforms such as Bullhorn, Fieldglass, etc.
• Attends all necessary meetings to stay informed; including company and Client meetings.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Nature of the work:
Installing underground or overhead electrical lines by laying pipe, pulling wire, and setting meters
Constructing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems and related equipment
Repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting street light systems, poles, luminaries, and circuits
Switching or rerouting electrical systems using proper sequencing and connections
Assuring compliance with safety standards and work practices
Operating line construction vehicles and equipment including wire-pullers, bucket and boom trucks, and various hand tools
Preparing materials for line construction and charging materials to appropriate job
Logging completed work orders and preparing reports
Assisting in training Line Technician apprentices
Provide emergency response after hours to restore power and repair infrastructure as needed
Must be willing to work in adverse work and weather conditions and is subject to overtime and standby hours

Education and Experience:
Qualified candidates will have completed a certified Line Technician apprenticeship program
