STRATIS is the contractor on a new program that has an immediate need for a POLICY ANALYST located in Tampa, Florida

• Prepare databases, spreadsheets, all forms of electronic graphic media to include interactive video clips and productions, quad charts, and other documentation, as required.
• Technical database support includes but is not limited to; maintaining currency and accuracy of the SOFARS in accordance with FAR, in electronic format on the SORDAC-K Government only website and ensure posting to other appropriate websites.
• Update and maintain the Contracting Desktop Resource Center on the SORDAC-K government only website, placing policies, directives, examples, user guides, etc. in a format to be placed on electronic media.
• Ensure that all electronic media publication software and format is 100% compatible with the government software.
• Ensure accurate data transfer from the user of the database to the Procurement Management Division for consolidation of reporting to DOD.
• Maintain custom and standard management reports as a result of queries against the database.
• Establish and maintain record of user registrations and system permissions.
Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years experience in contracting with specific experience in policy.
• Experienced in USSOCOM culture. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, contract data reporting tools, and training and database operations and maintenance.

Using fundamental technical skills, analytical abilities and up-to-date regulatory knowledge, this position provides environmental consulting services to assist clients in the areas of air and hazardous waste permitting, air dispersion modeling, CEQA detailed air and hazardous materials studies, emission inventory, including GHG, Title V and RECLAIM permit support services, environmental and sustainability programs, procedures, and management systems, other permitting, auditing, and regulatory compliance. A passion for excellence in client service is as important in this role as technical acumen.

Functional Responsibilities
Conduct environmental modeling analysis in accordance with project requirements and/or published guidelines. This may include air dispersion modeling (AERMOD, CALPUFF, and other), water and groundwater modeling, and human health risk analysis/assessment.
Quantify air and greenhouse gas emissions at industrial and public facilities, determine required control technologies, and document process information to ensure client operations and work practices are in accordance with all applicable regulations.
Perform detailed Air Quality and Hazardous Material studies under CEQA and/or NEPA.
Develop and consult on environmental management systems designed to meet specific client needs and organizational values. This includes training, coaching, procedures and policy development, along with providing guidance on developing a streamlined value added approach to environmental performance management systems.
Develop sustainability project plans and strategic programs aligned with the culture, values, and resources the client is able to commit to the effort.
Remain current regarding the latest developments in environmental control technologies.
Assemble environmental permit applications (air, waste water, and hazardous waste), permit amendment applications, standard exemptions, source inventories, and emissions and/or permit fee calculations for submittal to state regulatory agencies for industrial clients.
Understand existing regulations and continually review new and proposed environmental regulations as they relate to industrial clients.
Steward relationships with existing clients and solicit new project work as appropriate. Maintain existing and prospective client relationships by being closely attentive to their needs.
Supervise projects while maintaining close client contact, determining tasks, setting priorities, scheduling and performing QA/QC and follow-up tasks.
Assist new project consultants and engineers with projects and training.
Communicate results of analyses to clients verbally and in writing.
Communicate and coordinate with supervisory staff and management to ensure effective project scheduling and resource allocation.
Represent our company favorably and professionally and establish contacts when attending outside business functions.
Make oral and written presentations to clients and at trade association meetings, seminars, or conferences. Prepare and present training classes or seminars on various environmental topics as assigned.

Requirements
Education and/or Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Southern California
A master’s degree (M.S.) in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a related Environmental Science is expected. However, substantial additional relevant experience may be considered in exceptional cases. Must have regulatory, industry, and technical knowledge related to environmental permitting including: permit applicability analysis, hazardous waste permits, storm water permits, waste water permits, air permits, emission inventories, GHG inventories, air dispersion modeling, and federal and state permitting requirements. CEQA and NEPA knowledge and experience is highly desired. Must have above-average computer literacy including word processing, high-level spreadsheet skills, and high-level knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

EIT or California PE Certification preferred, but not initially required.

Working experience with South Coast Air Quality Management District and or Bay Area Air Quality Management District rules and procedures is highly desired. Working experience with California EPA and DTSC rules and procedures is highly desired. Federal and California Hazardous Waste regulations experience and literacy is highly desired. Working knowledge of Federal, state, and local environmental regulations is required.

Computer Skills
Applicants must be able to demonstrate exceptional computer skills. Microsoft Office application skills must be above average; Excel skills must be exceptional to an advanced level. Modeling skills are preferred and desired, to include: AERMOD, CALPUFF, SCREEN, HARP, EMFAC, OFFROAD, CalEEMod, and custom Excel applications.

Language Skills
Communication skills, including active listening; clear, concise, technical writing; and the ability to accurately explain air quality concepts using non-technical terminology are required.
Applicant must have ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, regulations, financial reports, and legal documents, and write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Applicant must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community and effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Mathematical Skills
Applicant must be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability

Assist in the deployment, coordination and command execution of assigned and attached units providing counter IED and direct training support advice to a combatant commander and his forces. Develop and provide elements in identifying and addressing counter-IED capability gaps. Provide analytical tools, software development, and systems engineering support to ensure interoperability and integration of emerging counter-IED technologies and tactics, techniques and procedures. Interface with Combatant Commands, joint organizations, and OGAs on actions related to Joint IED Defeat initiatives. Provide the capability to analyze the intelligence operational TTPs; training and materiel solution interrelationships; and articulate an overarching strategy to combat asymmetric threats and IEDs. Observe, collect, develop, validate, and disseminate emerging IED Defeat tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Assist in identification, training, and integration of IED Defeat countermeasure technologies. Provide investigative (law enforcement) advice to unit commanders. Provide updates as required to JIEDDO OPS to ensure relevance of the JIEDDO strategy and counter-IED COP. Provide support for the execution of JIEDDO strategic actions supporting the integration of multiple Joint IED Defeat solutions throughout DoD.

Requirements:

•7 years of Training experience in a C-IED, Intel, or related environment
•Background in evaluating class progress, course instruction, and development of curriculum

•Bachelor’s Degree

AF Satellite Data Base (SDB) recordkeeping and maintenance; AF satellite mission requirements down to the field unit level; conversion of user mission requirements into forecast data for future DoD procurement of satellite bandwidth resources and equipment; SHF Satellite Access and Gateway Access Request document creation and interagency processing; assist unit mission planners in correcting improper SAR/GAR data entries and pictorials prior to COCOM submission; CLS depot operations and procedures to support fielded MILSATCOM terminals and ability to interpret equipment performance reports, incident logs, and cost data summaries to identify trend issues and find solutions; AF annual budget planning process for CLS depot support; Understand, evaluate, and translate AF user communications mission needs into documented requirements, and relate requirements to existing technology, policies and priorities, operating practices and procedures, equipment and staffing requirements; AF Ground TACS equipment, operational requirements, and deployable mission; Air Force Theater Deployable Communications (TDC) program and its fielded equipment to include knowledge of devices used to interface TDC deployable LAN equipment to MILSATCOM terminals

Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree in electrical or electronic engineering, mathematics, physics, public utilities, statistics, computer science, telecommunications management, information systems management, business administration, industrial management

Experience related to MILSATCOM and a demonstrated ability to perform as a recognized expert in development of engineering and technical analysis, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and life-cycle sustainment program analysis as required by system Program Offices; research, development, and maintenance of complex databases used to support system management, future resource projections, and new equipment fielding; program documentation to include background papers, presentations, staff studies, technical reports, and budget support documents; and handling and review of classified documentation.

Experience with the following systems is preferred:
DSCS, QHSAT, GMT, other tri- and quad-band SATCOM terminals, GMF terminals, Langley ACC Reachback Facility, DoD Teleports, DoD STEP, RFMOW, ITOS, IMPCS, Wideband Global SATCOM, Commercial (C-, Ku-, and Ka-bands) SATCOM systems, SMU, IDNX, FCC-100, and ATM multiplexing systems.

Job Description:

General Summary:
Perform complex diagnosis, testing, repairs, and modifications to ground data/communications equipment at the organizational and intermediate levels. Provide advice, guidance, and technical assistance during the employment and installation of data/communication systems across an array of Special Operations – Peculiar (SO-P) vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, refine and update the Knowledge and Information Management repository to include DOD, DON and joint doctrine and publications.
• Integrate operational reports, intelligence reports, and lessons learned from major Exercises, National and Fleet customers providing support to commander’s decision making process or national policy.
• Provide content management and portal site administration for FCC-C10F and subordinate commands on NSAnet, JWICS, SIPRNet & CAS, and NIPRNet.
• Build out the FLTCYBERCOM/C10F organizational structures and work flows in all portals.
• Identify and classify the various types of content and develop policies on how and where that content will be stored.
• Research and Identify, or produce, if necessary, solutions/tools to reconcile data from disparate sources to aid in the analysis and solution determination process.
• Identify technology solution insertion opportunities to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the KIMP.

Duties and Responsibilities:

3 - 5 years experience required as a phone professional. Will manage a high volume of inbound calls and will conduct outbound calls to provide information and services to customers. Will utilize a database to retrieve customer or company information.

The professional undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities. Makes complex modifications to existing environments to fit specialized needs and configurations. Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. Monitors project schedules and costs. Provides technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications activities including planning, designing, developing, testing, installing and maintaining large communications networks; ensuring adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building architects and planners in building communications spaces and media pathways meet industry standards. Develops, operates and maintains voice, VoIP, wireless, video, and data communications systems; and provides complex engineering and associated analytical tasks and technical activities for communications networks. This position is located in DC.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for managing, directing, and planning complex telecommunications network projects
• Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, team building
• Applies project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status
• May manage and direct one or more project teams to meet complex project objectives
• Reviews, evaluates and formulates project plans, schedules and budgets
• Allocates staff and budget resources to meet changing corporate needs
• Identifies and negotiates schedules, milestones and resources required to meet project objectives
• Organizes and guides project operations through the use of methodologies accepted by the industry
• Evaluates progress and reports progress in terms of quality and performance metrics common to Network projects
• Modifies schedules as required.
• Works with client departments to coordinate systems testing, installation, training and support
• Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed upon time, cost, and quality parameters
• Proposes recommendations and adjustments to project delivery and related solutions throughout the life of the initiative
• Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in IT

Requirements
• Minimum of seven years telecommunications systems management experience for large complex information technology project(s) in a multi-server (preferably 75+) environment servicing at least a 5,000 users (10,000 preferred);five years must be specialized in providing technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications-focused networks. Preference for federal government environment experience.
• Solid understanding of voice and data service types, vendor implementation processes, phone systems and data networks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of architecture management, consolidation, deployments and interfacing techniques.
• Demonstrated experience planning and implementing advanced systems projects utilizing innovative solutions.
• Experience coordinating and managing the development of IT standards, guidelines, or policy for hardware configurations, network implementations and network troubleshooting and analysis, based upon federal government requirements.
• Demonstrated skills in designing and architecting voice, video and videoconferencing infrastructure and integration of voice and videoconference architecture within a broader digital information environment.
• Solid understanding of related technologies such as IP telephony, email, and networks
• Experience in designing and implementing Quality of Service (QoS) for video and voice applications in a H.323 and SIP environment.
• Knowledge of bandwidth reservation for scheduled video conferences using RSVP protocol as part of providing QoS.
• Must have expertise in Cisco networking, Cisco IP telephony, and experience with leading video conferencing providers such as Tandberg or Polycom. Direct experience with Cisco Telepresence is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of IT Infrastructure Library services offerings (ITIL* V3) framework, including service design, service transition and service operations.
• Expert knowledge of recent technological advances in both data and voice networking
• Experience with government backup/recovery/DR/COOP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels with clarity and precision, including experience in presenting material to senior government officials
• Experience with government standards, mandates, guidelines, etc
• Proven ability to quickly motivate teams; set direction and approach; execute with limited information and ambiguity
• Experience with fostering working relationships within teams and stakeholders
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Core project management skills including working knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools

• Cisco Certified Network Associate Voice (CCNA Voice/Wireless/Routing & Switching) required; Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) preferred
• Bachelor degree or higher strongly preferred in Computer Science or related discipline and at least five years related experience as a project manager of which at least two years have been in a leadership/team lead position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

General: Position is full-time exempt (salaried) working with the Life Cycle Contractor Support for the Warfighter FOCUS (WFF) program under the Warrior Training Alliance (WTA) at the U. S. Army HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence Fort Huachuca, AZ. The work identified by this announcement is being funded under an OAWR (Over and Above Work Request). Based on the status of the project near the completion of the PoP, additional funding may be provided/negotiated with our customer. Basic operations support the Fort Huachuca Intelligence Training mission to provide realistic joint and combined arms training focused on developing soldiers, leaders, and units of the United States military for success on the 21st Century Battlefield.

Scope: The HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence trains U.S. Military and U.S. Government personnel in basic and advanced HUMINT collection operations, based on DoD requirements. TTOS employees in the Military Source Operations (MSO) Course, serve as a Principal Level Training and Development Instructors at Ft. Huachuca, AZ. The primary mission of all contract instructors within HT-JCOE is to perform platform instruction and all other associated training development / support activities. Utilizing various forums such as formal platform training, workshops, and field training exercises, instructors train US military personnel and other Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government agency personnel. Instructors shall assume duties as platform instructors and deploy on field training exercises serving as instructor, mentor, role player, and counselor alongside active duty military and DoD civilian instructors. Instructors participate as writer/role-player; develops plans and milestones for the analysis, design, and development of courses of instruction; and prepares instructional material, including development of comprehensive, tailored role packages.

Qualifications:

a. Must possess an existing/active security clearance of SECRET.

b. Possess a valid state driver’s license.

c. In order to minimally qualify for this position, applicant must be graduate of at least one of the following schools: SOC, CFSO, ASOC, AMSOC, FTC, MOTC, MAGTF-CI/HUMINT, or AFCITC. Additionally, applicant must have HUMINT source operations experience particularly within GWOT and/or OCO or other high threat or combat environments. Must also have 24 months field experience in conducting full-spectrum HUMINT collection in a variety of operational environments.

d. Instructors shall be able to walk up to six miles cross-country over varying terrain in urban and rural environments to include conditions of extreme heat (in excess of 100 degrees Fahrenheit (or higher, sometimes the National Training Center is hotter than 100 degrees), cold (32 degrees below Fahrenheit), rain or snow. Training shall commence/continue regardless of weather conditions unless it is deemed severe enough to be considered a safety issue. Experience using the following software programs to perform requirements that use office automation: Windows 2000/XP; MS-Word; MS-Outlook; MS-PowerPoint; MS-Excel. Instructors are required to have knowledge in utilization/operation of the HT-JCOE Training Administration and Assessment Program (TAAP). Must be able to read, write, and understand English, and shall be able to speak clearly enough to instruct, evaluate and counsel students in the subtle and difficult concepts of the subject matter. The Contract employee shall write English well enough to provide written evaluations and feedback, and to successfully provide written AARs, lesson outlines, graded materials, course materials and counseling statements

THE CHALLENGE:

Chicago north suburban company requires Technical Support Analysts /Customer phone support/ Help Desk personnel. These are Direct Opportunities located near Waukegan, IL

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Under general supervision, support sales and market share growth by responding to pre-sale and post-sale technical inquiries from distributors, customers, field sales, and field service technicians regarding new marking/printing systems.
• This position requires a good knowledge of product offering, installation, operation, and maintenance. Responsible for providing Real Time Support by answering inquiries directly via phone, email, and the internet, or escalating cases as appropriate.
• This position will assure a superior degree of customer success is maintained through quality and technical support.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Five years related helpdesk or field support is highly preferred.
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in a technical field and five years related experience.
• Knowledge of plant installation procedures and machinery installations is essential.
• Experience working with sub-contract installation companies is a plus.
• Proven track-record of installing manufacturing or similar electro-mechanical equipment is important.
• Must be able to use basic hand and power tools as well as electrical tools including DVMs, o’scopes, logic analyzers, and network analyzers.

THE CHALLENGE:

Leading Printing Solutions company specializing in date coding, product marking, serialization and variable printing requires a Customer Service Engineer for the states Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, & Wisconsin. Position offers base salary plus overtime pay and generous Car Allowance with fuel card.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

• Perform Field Service, Installation and Preventative Maintenance

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associated Degree or equivalent is required.
• Military training in Electro-Mechanical Systems is highly desirable

Avanti Placements is searching for a Strategic Planner to provide direct support to the Commander, USSOCOM and his objectives to reshape USSOCOM through the development and execution of current and future Operational Planning Teams (OPTs). These OPTs will support the Commander's vision to: (1) Win the current fight; (2) Build for the future; and (3) Understand and address the pressure on the force.

The contractor shall provide expert knowledge on the cultural and political sensitivities in various theaters where USSOCOM operates. The contractor shall provide subject matter expertise to inform assessments, plans and policy and assist in writing and editing cutting edge, strategic level doctrine to include: plans, briefings, papers, correspondence, and public statements. Minimum Requirements:
URS Corporation is immediately hiring a qualified Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Inspector in support of U.S. Navy Aircraft maintenance operations at NAS Lemoore, CA. Must be able to work rotating shifts and travel for detachments.

Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health & Safety field and/or 5 + years direct experience in a maintenance based Health & Safety management capacity is required. Experience in OSHA, ANSI, State and Federal laws. Must be able to meet physical requirements associated with and/or pass medical examination requirements related to performing daily assigned tasks.

Job Description:
Develops and maintains Safety / Training Program for the site as a HSE Representative. Inspects all areas occupied by URS employees for a safe and healthy workplace. Works with the Navy Safety Officer on all aspects of safety, to include participating in all Safety events and meetings. Creates and implements new and required programs within the guidelines set forth by the URS HSE Manager. Maintains safety training records for all employees. Performs annual re-training and new hire in processing training required for each position on site. Must be able to set the example in Safety to all URS employees.
