Description:
The HUMINT Collection Specialist provides direct support to the HUMINT Collection Teams / HUMINT Exploitation Teams / Field HUMINT Teams as appropriate.
Duties:
•Conducts source deconfliction, support to military source operations, HUMINT operations coordination and synchronization, strategic debriefings, support to interrogation operations, liaison and other HUMINT activities as necessary.
•Provides routine and recurring support to HUMINT activities from fixed and secure locations (defined, bases, camps and installations). T
•Conducts activities such as debriefing of personnel, coordination with installation units/personnel, initial handling of walk-in sources, intelligence report writing/quality control, other HUMINT activities, and can support other operations as required.
Qualifications:
•Requires a current TS/SCI
•Must be trained in HUMINT activities including source operations with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
•Must be familiar with HUMINT activities including military source operations, strategic debriefing and other HUMINT programs.
•Knowledgeable of Army/Joint HUMINT procedures, data processing systems such as CIDNE, DSOMS, and SIPRNET search engines.
•Requires former MOS 35M, 351M, or DoD civilian/joint service equivalents.
•Knowledge of the Pashto or Dari language and Afghan culture a plus.
