Colorado Springs Utilities is a four-service utility that has proudly provided electricity, natural gas, water, and wastewater services to the Pikes Peak region for 100 years. As a community-owned utility, we are devoted to serving our community through effective stewardship and management of our resources.
The Gas Pipefitter Specialist will support gas distribution activities related to the construction, operations, and maintenance of the Fort Carson gas distribution system in support of the Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA).
Under the IGSA, Colorado Springs Utilities is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Fort Carson’s electric and gas infrastructure, and this position will begin as soon as possible. Pursuant to the IGSA, Colorado Springs Utilities shall maintain and service the natural gas distribution and regulation system. Work shall be in accordance with the Department of Transportation Pipeline Safety Regulations, 49-CFR 192, and the Guidance Manual for Operators of Small Gas Distribution Systems.
Our Fort Carson IGSA section is excited to offer the opportunity for safety-oriented and motivated journey-level Gas Pipefitter Specialist to join our team. Our pipefitters are responsible for various natural gas pipeline installation and maintenance duties. This includes gas commercial meter work, inspecting contractors during the installation of mains and services providing input with future gas system design requirements. Additionally, pipefitters are responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and safety procedures pertaining to the natural gas industry; maintaining records of work performed and materials used; training personnel; operating construction equipment to install new piping and to expose existing piping; pinpointing the location of leaks and classifying type, and ensuring that underground utilities have been located and job sites are safe by using proper barricades.
The position will be filled at the Gas Pipefitter Specialist level. Starting pay rate for a Gas Pipefitter Specialist is $36.15/hr. Your pay rate will increase to $39.87hr. upon successfully completing probation (typically 6 months).
Essential Functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
Assists with performing or coordinating aspects of Fort Carson natural gas distribution system operations and maintenance including gas commercial meter work, regulator station maintenance, leak search, leak repair, construction projects, quality control inspection of new infrastructure, and other requirements to meet regulatory requirements as well as industry best practices.
Must have the ability to be adaptable and flexible to help transition Fort Carson's current operations and maintenance practices to industry best practices.
As a Gas Pipefitter, you will be responsible for:
Installing, exchanging, removing, troubleshooting, and maintaining natural gas service points, including meters, modules, and regulators
Operator Qualified to replace gas service valves upstream of gas meter loops
Lead coordinator on gas manifold/gas meter move-out tasks, coordinating with construction contractors, scheduling
Understanding, interpreting, and following applicable national/ local/ internal codes and regulations
Representing the company in a professional manner and providing exceptional customer service
Communicating clearly, accurately, and professionally with customers and fellow employees
Utilizing radios, computers, cellular phones, mobile workforce management applications, customer information systems, and other telecommunications tools and applications in the performance of daily duties
Connecting and inspecting gas mains and service lines
Safe handling of gas main/service lines
Operating gas construction excavation equipment
Tapping pipelines
Complying with regulations/laws/procedures
Obtaining and Maintaining Operator Qualification Certification
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements and expectations:
Completion of a Gas Pipefitter Apprentice program (DOL or NDOL) or have 4 or more years of relevant experience installing and repairing gas mains and service lines (Operator Qualifications, etc.).
Ability to obtain a Mechanics IV license
Additionally, one year of experience at the Journey Gas Pipefitter level is required.
Driving a Colorado Springs Utilities commercial vehicle is a requirement of this position, as such the successful candidate needs to have a Class Commercial Driver's license w/ tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain within six months of starting.
The successful candidate will be required to pull stand-by, overtime, weekends, holidays, and 24-hour callouts as the business needs demand. In addition, you will work in hazardous conditions, and be subject to working in inclement weather.

Job Description

Job Description
Operates a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers. Manually loads and unloads delivery truck, verifies parts loaded and unloaded, collects payments from customers, obtains signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts unloaded/loaded and delivers returned items back to the location.
Essential Job Duties
• Drive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
• Physically load Company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.
• Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.
• Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location.
• Pick up buy out purchase orders from vendors on vendor “fill in” purchase orders and deliver parts back to the location or customer.
• Initiate and support the continual improvement of Client’s quality improvement program.
• Collect accounts receivable, as necessary.
• Work in such a manner as to prevent shortages and damage to products.
• Comply with established Company policies and procedures.
• May make primarily local deliveries or work in the warehouse or other capacities when not driving.
• Pass random drug testing as required.
• Successful completion of annual training as assigned.
• Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Overview
Client is seeking a highly motivated, detailed-oriented individual that has Auto CADD and Civil 3D experience applicable with linear utility design and layout to join our Utility Design Engineering group. The OSP CADD Operator will perform various field and desk top design functions revolving around projects including, but not limited to, site surveys, field engineering, OSP design, encroachment permitting and CAD of aerial, underground, and buried telecommunication systems
Responsibilities
Work directly with project engineers to develop construction drawings for utility projects
Plan and prepare preliminary layouts and detailed design drawings from engineering notes, sketches, and/or other drawings
Research and obtain standards/codes required by clients and Jurisdictions and ensure drawings comply
Research and obtain local land base & existing utility as-built shapefiles for import
Review drawings for completeness, accuracy and quality
Organize/maintain all revisions of project drawings, plot files and project-related information in a logical and well-structured manner
Create permit drawings, utility schematics and as-built drawings
Submit encroachment and specialty permits (city, county, state, local municipalities, CSX, NSRR, etc.)
Input as-built information into client specific records/mapping systems
Adhere to task level budgets and project schedules
Periodically make trips to the project location to collect necessary information for design drawings

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform general fitness equipment repairs with high attention to detail, including but not limited to: treadmill belt replacements, small drive motors, understand voltage readings on all components, replace equipment consoles and perform stationary bike calibrations.
Perform all electronic and mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostics of fitness equipment.
Communicate thoughtfully, clearly and professionally with customers.
Manage a daily routine of service calls and perform repairs as assigned.

Who you are...You are likely someone who comes with at least five years of progressively responsible experience in a project management capacity, preferably within the construction field. A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a closely related field from an accredited college, completion of a an approved apprenticeship program, or demonstrated equivalent experience is beneficial. Additionally, possessing a Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification, and familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint is highly beneficial. Knowledge of electric and natural gas infrastructure (power generation, substations, natural gas pipelines) would also add to your success in this role.

Design Team Lead Engineer
As a Design Team Lead Engineer at Soaris, you will be the key design interface in the product development process, in concert with a Project Manager and New Product Launch Manager. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians through the design process, ensuring the design performance meets the expected requirements and the deliverables are thoroughly detailed and vetted. The focus of this role will mainly be (but not limited to) the development of electronic control units.
Planning & organizational skills are key to this position. There are many complex deliverables and interactive timing needs over the design process lifecycle. You must be able to prioritize & assign activities according to the skills & timing needed for the deliverables and the capabilities & load of the team members.
It is not required that you are the expert on every technical topic, but you will need to keep an up-to-date working knowledge of all technical aspects of the design and status of the project deliverables. You will represent the design engineers in project alignment discussions with the Project Manager and New Product Launch Manager. We find that high performing design team leaders are able to zoom in to the details and out to a bird’s-eye view quickly and efficiently.
You will be responsible for technical content presentation & discussion with the customer’s technical team; a conduit between Soaris and customer engineers.

Assess requirements and prepare estimates of effort, tools, and timing for project quotations & to support annual budget process.
Ensure deliverables are at the appropriate maturity level by project milestones. Deliverables include drawings, schematics, worst-case and performance analysis, simulation, validation plans and test reports, DFMEA, specification compliance assessment, BOM releases, component specifications, etc.
Drive design reviews: ensure the right audience, sufficient time is provided, that action items are assigned & driven to completion.
Ensure coordination of validation activities: quotation & scheduling of validation labs, development and procurement of validation test fixtures and setups, preparation for testing, execution of tests, and resolution of any resulting concerns.
Verify compliance with customer specifications, interface with customers to clarify requirements, and develop performance specifications where none are available.

THE POSITION: Surface Mount Technology Technician
We are seeking a results-driven, technical team member with strong problem-solving experience to help improve and develop our production processes.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
Prioritize SAFETY and QUALITY
Be responsible for programming and maintenance of Fuji NXTIII Surface Mount Placement (SMT) equipment and other SMT related equipment like AOI, reflow, SPI, conveyance systems among other equipment.
Interface custom machine software and vision systems.

Supply Chain Generalist:
Position Summary:
Completes a variety of administrative tasks and provides support to the Supply Chain teams with a primary focus on Purchasing and Planning functions.
Position Requirements:
Placing supply and MRO Purchase Orders and confirming delivery dates to ensure Soaris production is not impacted by delayed deliveries.
Develop and publish various reports relative to the Supply Chain that measure progress against target metrics that include but are not limited to: freight expense, inventory reports, supplier cost reductions, continuous improvement initiatives, year to date spend and others upon request by supervisor.
Participate in or perform vendor selection per the approved Soaris process.
Participate in identifying and/or sourcing vendors who have the appropriate capabilities to meet Soaris’ specifications and requirements.
Participate in or perform vendor Request for Quote process per Soaris’ approved processes.
Monitors and evaluates supplier performance.
Assist with new vendor set up and training on Purchasing/Procurement systems, i.e., Supplier Portal, EDI, etc.
Provide solutions for supply issues that impact production scheduling.
Understands the day-to-day manufacturing planning processes through daily hands-on involvement with Customer Service, Master Scheduling and Production teams.
Advise management(escalation)of critical at- risk supply issues that will adversely impact internal and external customer production schedules due to vendor constraints, inventory discrepancies, global market conditions, or other.
Maintain a positive and professional work environment.

REQUIRED Professional/Technical Experience, Skills and Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3 to 5 years related work experience.

Job Description:

Possible Supplier related restrictions e.g., reduced 8D-management, ppm threshold to start corrective actions, traceability limitations, marking, audits.
Job Requirements :
1. Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or similar in engineering or equivalent.
2. Professional experience (at least 5 years) in quality and manufacturing field.
3. Experience in automotive business (approx. 2 years) and understanding of automotive environment.

* Produce innovative, all-source Insider Threat-related products for a

* Extract and organize statistical data to support the building of

Threat tools and data sources to discover the information necessary
to support analysis
* Assist in the preparation and production of risk warning and
situational awareness products related to Insider Threat issues
* Provide editing and quality control of Insider Threat products

* Evaluate and identify policy gaps in existing systems
* Propose and define new User Activity Monitoring (UAM) policy
triggers, perform functional testing of proposed and modified policy
triggers prior to implementation and final government approval, and
prepare policy trigger implementation plan and impact assessment
* ?Perform configuration management activities to ensure compliance
with asset management and continuous monitoring policy requirements
* Prepare, write, and present reports and briefings as required
* Perform event analysis by examining network traffic data and Host
Based Security Systems? audit data, SIEM data, and any other
technical feeds received from Agency security tools
* Capture human behaviors such as policy violations, compliance
incidents, and malicious acts at the endpoint that can service as
warning signs leading up to a breach

*All Source Analyst Expert Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities
requested: *
* Active TS/SCI clearance required.
* Must have at least eight (8) years of relevant experience (with at
least a portion of that experience within the last two (2) years).
* Preferred to have a Bachelor?s Degree in a related field of study.
* Experience analyzing User Activity Monitoring (UAM) data sets and
audit tools
* In-depth understanding of the UAM tool to include policy
implementation and writing as well as in-depth knowledge with policy
tuning and system impacts based on policy changes
* Familiarity with Foreign Intelligence Entity (FIE) and non-state
entity use of technology to target, collect, and exploit DOD
information and information systems, personnel, and operations
* Ability to identify intelligence gaps, specify data collection
requirements to fill gaps in information, and evaluate resulting

* Ability to present analysis and threat assessments to the Government.
* Experience understanding of the intelligence cycle and architecture,
to include planning, collection, research, analysis, and production.
* Proficiency in the use of all source analysis and the proper use of
advanced analytic tools (e.g., Analyst Notebook).
* Experience providing support to the DCSA Insider Threat mission
while conducting in-depth analysis of intelligence data received
from various data sources
* Experience providing support and expertise to a Government or
Contractor Insider Threat program
* Experience in Personnel Security, Threat Assessment/Threat
Management or Counterintelligence supporting the Insider Threat
mission.
* Experience in concepts, principles, practices, and techniques
associated with threat assessment/threat management,
counterintelligence and law enforcement and knowledge of the
organization of the security and counterintelligence communities,
including their capabilities and jurisdictions and significant
experience with collaboration and information sharing within and
across the Federal Government, Intelligence, Counterintelligence,
Law Enforcement and Security communities.
* Experience with Insider Threat risk assessments and presenting those
findings to a variety of audiences, to include senior decision makers.
* Have written and oral communication skills including demonstrated
negotiation/collaboration skills required as documented through a
variety of experiences briefing and presenting issues at the
General/Flag Officer/SES level.
* Knowledge and demonstrated use of research and analytical techniques
as applied to difficult and complex assignments in security, law
enforcement, and counterintelligence analysis
* Possess understanding of intelligence collection capabilities and
limitations, to include but not limited to, technical sensors/
platforms and human intelligence sources related to the labor category
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools
* Knowledge and training in structured professional judgement tools
such as WAVR-21 is preferred.
