Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking a Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineer to join the Electric Advanced Design team. The Electric Advanced Design is a newly formed team tasked with supporting several areas to include substations, transmission, distribution, and advanced technology elements related to microgrids, distribution automation, and much more. We are seeking a team player, and someone who is ready to be cross-trained in several Engineering aspects.
As an integral member of the team you will have an opportunity to contribute to multiple projects in multiple disciplines. Your engineering expertise will expand beyond just a single area, helping this team to accomplish large amounts of work in the coming years… and who wouldn’t be excited about contributing to an organizations current and future successes? In joining the Electric Advanced Design group, you will gain membership to a highly skilled and experienced team who routinely leverages their technical expertise to serve in our municipal utility’s System Planning and Projects Division and beyond.

Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
· Provide support in the development of design layouts, scopes, and estimates for substation projects
· Provide assistance with the development of physical designs for new substations and expansion of existing substations including site grading, drainage and erosion control, access roads, and fencing/walls
· Perform structural design and analysis of anchorages, steel structures, connections, concrete foundations, and spill containments using industry codes and standards, ensuring adherence to environmental and safety requirements
· Work with Project Managers, Electrical Engineers, Designers, and Civil/Structural team members to confirm all project requirements are addressed
· Develop project schedules, and ensure all tasks are completed on time to support project delivery and completion
· Visit project sites and work with field teams to develop solutions and corresponding designs
· Work with internal and external sources to get designs fabricated, reserve or procure materials and deliver to the sites
· Review contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering and material standards
· Evaluate and monitor outside consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with specifications, bid proposals, and obligations.
What will it take to be successful in this position?
A bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university is required for this position. The ideal candidate will offer 2 or more years’ experience in structural engineering, analysis, foundation design, ideally with experience in the civil/structural design of substations. Additionally, we are interested in your experience in the following areas, so please be sure to highlight them on your resume/application:
· FE/EIT certification and active pursuit of PE is a big plus
· Working knowledge and application of industry standards, safety standards and current design codes such as AISC, ACI, ASCE 113, IEEE, NESC and others
· Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
· Working knowledge of PLS-CADD
· Experience with structural modeling software such as STAAD Pro
· Project, contract, and vendor management
· Substation design requirements and construction techniques
· High-voltage transmission structure and foundation design
· Excellent communications skills to effectively communicate, using both written and verbal communications, with diverse groups

Our Fleet Operations Department is responsible for the repair and service of our more than 2,000 fleet vehicles. We are hiring a Fleet Technician to provide onsite fleet services for light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and other equipment with experienced technicians to advance your career. Our fleet is made up of vehicles from Ford, Chevy, Peterbilt, Caterpillar, and Kenworth. A day in the life of a Fleet Technician may include:
Repairing, cleaning, replacing, installing, and modifying defective, missing, or malfunctioning components of mechanical, hydraulic, fuel, electrical, braking, steering, pumping, and other related vehicle systems

Provides support in gathering, analysis, evaluation, and the preparation
of recommendations for program improvements, organizational process
changes, optimization, development, and/or administration efforts?
Conducts comprehensive related research on applications and intelligence
related automation to support analytical efforts.
Compare and contrast information from various sources.
Prepares, produces, and disseminates both scheduled and unscheduled
general intelligence products, such as: briefings, studies, estimates,
and assessments memoranda.
Provides technical assistance for other project team members.
Promotes and coordinates, where applicable, the sharing of organized
criminal intelligence and criminal investigations with FBI when there is
a nexus to the U.S. Identifies resource requirements and shortfalls to
supervisor.
Represents activity in working groups and committees as substantive
authority in subject area.
*Qualifications*:
Possess at least six (6) years of federal law enforcement investigation
experience, including extensive involvement in counterintelligence,
counterproliferation/technology transfer, criminal, or cyber investigations;
Demonstrated experience in the administration and operation of
counterintelligence investigations, particularly in sophisticated joint
operations;
Possess knowledge of the FBI Domestic Investigations Operations Guide
(DIOG), Attorney General Guidelines for Domestic FBI Investigations
(AGG-Dom), Executive Order 12333, and other relevant guidelines,
policies, statutes, and executive orders;
Possess contemporary knowledge of the primary threat focus of CTTU, to
include foreign intelligence services structures, operations and
tradecraft, methodologies, and motivators;
Be??? capable??? of??? working??? independently??? and??? providing???
detailed??? analysis??? and recommendations to FBI personnel at the
senior executive level;
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required;
US citizenship;
Must possess a current, within four years, CI Polygraph from the FBI, or
an approved agency prior to report date;
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) / Sensitive
Compartmented Information (SCI).

Deliver classroom-based instruction and assess student performance in
field exercises that frequently exceed 8-hours a day, includes weekends,
and requires travel within the NCR and CONUS.
You will provide CI subject matter expert expertise for course
development, instruction, and mentorship in OFCO support to CI.
Employ blended learning techniques to include a combination of eLearning
tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case
studies, role plays and demonstrations of required skills through
work-related tasks.
You?ll Bring These Qualifications:
TS/SCI and CI polygraph or ability to obtain poly.
Seven (7) years of demonstrated experience conducting, instructing, or
supervising OFCO in accordance with the DoDI-S5240.09.
Possess expert knowledge of threat country foreign intelligence
entities' (FIE) methodologies and tactics, techniques, and procedures
(TTPs).
Graduate of the Advanced Foreign CI Operations Course (AFCIOC) or one of
the following legacy training courses offered by the Military Departments:

equivalent or have experience conducting Level II MCC in accordance with

Served as a CI Collector with experience conducting the full operational

able to walk for up to five (5) miles in one day.

Our pipefitters are responsible for a full range of duties associated with natural gas pipeline installations and maintenance. Pipefitters are responsible for ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and safety procedures pertaining to the natural gas industry; maintaining records of work performed and materials used; training personnel; operating construction equipment to install new piping and to expose existing piping; pinpointing the location of leaks and classifying type, and ensuring that underground utilities have been located and job sites are safe by using proper barricades.
Colorado Springs Utilities is a four-service utility that has proudly provided electricity, natural gas, water, and wastewater services to the Pikes Peak region for 100 years. Starting pay rate for a Journey- Level Gas Pipefitter is $39.30/hr. Your pay rate will increase to $41.26/hr. upon successfully completing probation (typically 6 months).
As a Gas Pipefitter you will be responsible for:
Connecting and inspecting of gas mains and service lines
Safe handling of gas main/service lines
Operating gas construction excavation equipment
Tapping pipelines
Complying with regulations/laws/procedures
Obtaining and Maintaining Operator Qualification Certification
In addition to the Pipefitter duties listed above, a Pipefitter Specialist will also be responsible for:
Providing technical guidance and training others
Technically proficient with tools and equipment associated with the installation and maintenance of the Distribution system

Locating and classifying leaks

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements and expectations:
Completion of a Gas Pipefitter Apprentice program (DOL or NDOL) or have 4 or more years of relevant experience installing and repairing gas mains and service lines (Operator Qualifications, etc).
Additionally, one year of experience at the Journey Gas Pipefitter level is required to qualify for the Specialist level.
Driving a Colorado Springs Utilities commercial vehicle is a requirement of this position, as such the successful candidate needs to have a Class A Commercial Driver's license w/ tanker endorsement, or the ability to obtain within six months of starting.
This position is designated as a first responder for emergencies. It is highly preferred that all pipefitters live in the Service Territory and receive at least one utility service (gas, electric, or water) from Colorado Springs Utilities. Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The successful candidate will be required to pull stand-by, overtime, weekends, holidays, and 24-hour call-outs as the business needs demand. In addition, you will work in hazardous conditions, and be subject to working in inclement weather.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and
Border Protection (CBP), Office of Training and Development (OTD), and serves in a developmental capacity under the leadership and guidance of a higher graded specialist.
A Training Technician facilitates CBP basic, Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC)-sponsored training. Works with the Hiring Center and each Border Patrol Sector to identify those trainees who meet class criteria and confirms personnel scheduled for basic training. Maintains liaison with the FLETC Scheduling Coordinator, and other organizational personnel as required for scheduling students. Assists with schedules and securing and coordinating the use of training sites, facilities, and materials.
Performs requisite class coordination responsibilities associated with training. Must be familiar with assigned courses, purpose, scope, prerequisites, administrative requirements, and all appropriate coordination points of contact to include program offices. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Send email notifications with pertinent training specifics and travel information to students.
Coordinate classroom set up with Logistics.
Assist with the welcome orientation for each class.
Manage student bio sheets to generate rosters and other reports.
Coordinate with Session supervisors and instructors and provides guidance to students, as required, for duration of training.
Assists students with the completion of required travel documents within the agency's automated travel system. Prior to student travel, reviews all travel authorizations to ensure appropriate funding codes are used, travel dates and other information are correct, and compliance with Academy policies and procedures, as well as Federal Travel
Regulations. After review, forwards to appropriate official for approval. Same review required for processing travel vouchers for reimbursement of expenses.

It is a multi-faceted position that requires the incumbent serve as the producer, director, and/or editor within a multimedia production team that develops and delivers a variety of multimedia products for use on CBP Learning Management Systems, social media platforms, or as stand-alone training products. Multimedia products include videos, photos, illustrations, three-dimensional (3D) and two-dimensional (2D) graphics, motion graphics, and 3D models.
The Audiovisual Production Specialist performs all duties involved in the production of digital videos, digital photographs, and graphics, and helps design and produce video content. Serves as producer, director, scriptwriter, set designer, camera operator, lighting technician, audio technician, editor, computer animator, and other roles necessary to produce the finished product. Most assignments include multi-faceted, high-profile and time sensitive productions equal to industry standards.
The incumbent will perform the following audiovisual production project roles:
As a Producer, the incumbent serves as the overall manager of an audiovisual production and is responsible for all the administrative and logistical details. Consults with clients to discuss the general concept, objective, and target audience of the program or project. Provides advice on the script and the most effective way to communicate its information. Develops cost estimates for productions at various levels of sophistication. Designs the production within an approved budget and maintains budget control throughout the life of the project. Develops production schedules. Procures props and equipment. Selects and
arranges sites for on-location or off-location shooting. Selects production crews, including the director, performers, camera operators, and others.

As a Director, the incumbent is responsible for the production values and aesthetic quality of the audiovisual production and has control of most of the artistic and creative aspects. Works in collaboration with the client, scriptwriter, and/or course developer to translate the script into the various audiovisual elements that best communicate the desired message to the audience. Designs sets and lighting, conceives additional visual elements such as graphics, motion graphics, 3D and 2D elements, and animations. Also, selects music and sound effects to accompany and complement the images. Rehearses with actors and narrators and determines camera placements, lighting, and angles. During the production, orchestrates the action of the participants, directs the movement and selection of cameras, and cues in audio elements. Performs preliminary editing of raw video to put scenes in the proper sequence for the client’s first draft review.

As an Editor, the incumbent is responsible for all post-production processes associated with prerecorded video, including assembling, adjusting, and enhancing the audio and visual elements to produce a finished production. Arranges video segments in the desired sequence and overlays soundtracks and other visual effects. Uses a variety of computerized equipment such as non-linear editors, special effects and 3D/2D animation software, to assemble video material and create a variety of productions. Monitors and controls the technical quality of the product. Uses creative sense to construct scenes from volumes of archived digital video, supporting footage b-roll, and usable precedent material, to achieve visual continuity between scenes, and to blend in audio elements in a harmonious manner. Operates and maintains sophisticated, high dollar recording and postproduction equipment including cameras, microphones, digital recording machines, teleprompters, light sets, and computer hardware. STS Technical Services is hiring a Satellite Manager in East Alton, Illinois.
Job Overview:
Serve as the primary point-of-contact and manage all aspects of the satellite operation at PWK. This position is based on site at the PWK – Chicago Satellite facility with some travel needed to meet or exceed customer, people, financial, quality and safety standards. Occasional attendance may be required for key industry events and/or customer outings.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee the development and ongoing management of PWK satellites operations including manpower staffing, customer relations and support, quality and safety.
Ensure on-call / after-hours process is developed to ensure sufficient rotation of assignments between technicians along with customer support for pre/post flight checks and AOG situations.
Ensure adequate technician hiring, training and development of the team at the PWK satellite to ensure work is performed at the highest technical levels and in accordance with aircraft specific maintenance manuals, WSA standard operating procedures, repair station manuals, quality and safety standards.
Ensure aircraft schedules are developed from pre-planning, to aircraft delivery and follow-up to support on time deliveries.
Communicate with Billing for the review and approval of final invoices.
Coordinate with Accounting, Quality, HR, IT and Purchasing for support out of the ALN location.
Oversee standard employee management duties such as performance and compensation reviews, on the job training and development. Provide recommendations on all other employment matters such as hiring, disciplinary issues, promotions and terminations.
Encourage and promote a safe work environment to include proper use of all PPE, operation of ground support equipment, aircraft systems and general housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelors/ Associates degree preferred OR comparable years of service managing people and/or 145 service center environment
A&P License Required
Have fundamental understanding of financial reports / spreadsheets.
10 years progressive aircraft maintenance or avionics experience in a part 145 service center environment along with 10 years of experience leading teams.
Strong knowledge of part 145 Federal Aviation Regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and all levels of the WSA management team.
Ability to modify communication, tone, and presentation to defuse crisis situations with customers, employees and / or other departments and maintain mutually beneficial relationships.

STS Technical Services is hiring Mobile Aircraft Technicians for remote work.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Associates Degree in a related Aviation Science or Maintenance program – or equivalent aircraft experience.
A&P License.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum of eight (8) years’ experience as an aircraft maintenance technician working in a service center on corporate aircraft performing flight line repairs and/or advance level troubleshooting and complex repairs. Prefer at least five (5) years of experience to on Citation, Gulfstream, Falcon, Embraer, Hawker, and/or Bombardier aircraft.
Must demonstrate a senior level of technical knowledge and ability to get tasks completed by working around obstacles in a safe and efficient manner.
Must understand and be willing to work a schedule that varies week to week to include the exact location in which the job is located, number of days and hours which could include overtime, weekends and/or holidays in order to return the aircraft to service. It is anticipated that overnight travel will happen regularly.
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, customers, contractors and/or vendors.
Demonstrated ability to communicate easily and accurately with other Mobile Repair Team Technicians, the Manager and customers. Must be able to work independently and responsibly without direct supervision.
Ability to maintain a valid and active driver’s license approved for airline travel and a valid passport, and credit card at all times. Along with any necessary airport / TSA specific badging to allow ramp access. Invalid documents may result in removal from the job.

Colorado Springs Utilities is seeking one talented individual to join the Substation and Transmission Engineering team as a Substation AutoCAD Designer. The successful candidates will provide technical drafting support in the preparation of Substation Electrical and Mechanical design packages and Substation Construction Standards, while working with a team of engineers and engineering support personnel.

Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
· Advanced level engineering support utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and AutoCAD Civil 3D software for utility design projects.
· Drafting, design, maintenance and preparation of electrical substation and transmission engineering projects using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
· Perform QA/QC for projects in design and as-built phases.
· Preparing preliminary designs for electrical schematics, wiring and associated documentation such as cable lists using design specifications typically provided by the project engineer.
· Preparing physical and mechanical layouts, plan and profile, schematics, and wiring diagrams for substation projects from detailed sketches, verbal instructions, and notes under the direction of an engineer or senior engineering support personnel.
· Prepares construction drawings (CAD) and materials specifications; ensures that construction materials meet specifications.
· Communicating with engineers and field technicians to answer questions and address concerns.
· Using drafting techniques and principals to draft, measure, draw, and revise plans, as-built and installation drawings according to field mark-ups while adhering to drafting standards.
· Identify needed electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings needed for substation and transmission engineering projects.
· Identifying additional information needed for mechanical and civil designs. (Survey data)
· Knowledge of point clouds and ability to import and interpret data using AutoCAD Civil 3D
· Creation of base files (on FIMS Coordinate System) for construction staking purposes
· Creation of basic 3D models using AutoCAD programs for electric substation layouts.
· Interpreting construction drawings and designs including land surveying, easements, and legal descriptions.
· Substation and transmission engineering project coordination, including reservation of materials, coordination of surveying requests, geotechnical services, machine weld shop, substation inspectors, etc.
· Produce 3D models of steel fabricated designs.
· Creation and maintenance of substation and transmission electrical construction standards.
· Maintaining project tracking databases (As-Built Database) to track efficiencies and benchmark internal processes.
· Maintenance and database management for new substation and transmission electrical materials (PDM’s)
· Research of new and existing materials used for construction applications.
· Reading, writing and interpretation of technical documents.
· Participation in procurement teams for the purchase of various electrical substation materials and equipment.
· Preparing various drawings of topographic maps, existing utility facilities, and proposed utility structures
· Preparing material lists and evaluating appropriate application of materials on assigned projects
