Development (BD) Analyst position in Tysons Corner, VA.
* The BD Analyst supports federal business development, capture
management and proposal management with a full range of activities
including opportunity identification and qualification as well as
external teaming discussions.

The BD Analyst will:

ID/IQ contract vehicles.
* Conduct market analyses; participate in industry conferences and
other venues; network and gather information that results in

* Utilize proven writing skills, including understanding of
grammatical rules, punctuation, sentence structure, and
active/passive voice.
* Contribute to the company?s pipeline management process through the
development of competitive intelligence by developing a strong
understanding of the federal contracting arena, including the
federal landscape of other large and small businesses, potential
partners, and competitors.
* Read and synthesize large data sets to develop detailed, accurate
analysis.
* Contribute to the maintenance of the company?s business pipeline
database; enter and retrieve data; analyze, create, and present
reports from databases; monitor all pipeline records for
completeness and accuracy; compile data; review and prepare reports
and debriefings.
* Maintain quality results by using templates; follow proposal-writing
standards including readability, consistency, tone; and maintain
proposal support databases.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 2-3 years of above referenced skills, duties and
accomplishments with Microsoft Office Suite, (Teams, SharePoint,

U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Administration for Children and Families’ (ACF) Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) will use the American Hebrew Academy campus as a transitional campus for immigrant children while they await reunification with family members or other vetted sponsors in the U.S.
The federal agency will provide classroom education, mental and medical health services, case management, translation services, legal services, and recreational facilities. The program will also provide unification services that facilitate timely release of minors to family members or other vetted sponsors, according to ORR.

The Opportunity:
This high-level Los Angeles wireless communications company is searching for a Director of Technology Development. They would like this individual to perform the following overall responsibilities within the CTO’s office:
· Lead and increase the level of government R&D funding in the company;
· Oversee the company’s technology roadmap under the direction of the CTO
· Working with the CTO and the VP of Engineering to oversee the successful technical delivery of the company’s R&D programs
· Positively impact the company’s IP portfolio
This position has both internally and externally focused responsibilities and is critical to the company’s success in both government and commercial markets.
Responsibilities
· Interface with external funding organizations, and opportunities, and attend informational and networking events
· Lead white paper and proposal development culminating in contract awards
· Work with the CTO and VP of engineering to identify technical development priorities and roadmaps and help with the implementation of those roadmaps
· Participate in business development activities such as experiments, demonstration events, and customer meetings
· Grow, manage, and mentor a diversified engineering work force as part of business development (BD) and program execution efforts
· Grow the company’s IP portfolio as part of the BD and execution efforts
Qualifications
· PhD in Electrical Engineering is preferred, MS required
· Minimum 7 years of relevant wireless communication systems design experience post PhD, experience in RF sensing and signal analysis a plus.
· Fluency in technical presentations, proposal writing, and technical reporting
· Experience with customer engagement with a focus on the government sector
· Hands-on management experience with wireless system design and working knowledge of simulation tools such as MATLAB and C
· Experience of RF signal propagation, channel modeling, digital communications, RF sensing, signal analysis, machine learning, and associated signal processing technologies is desired, as well as MIMO systems and mesh networking knowledge would be considered a definite plus.
· Secret Clearance is a plus due to occasional classified discussions and/or specification documents

Job Description
You will join an experienced high-performing Flight Test team. You have to be a US Citizen (Green Card may work). It is a fast-paced environment, and the selected candidate must bring flight test experience and existing skills to quickly contribute to the Test Program. Ability to communicate and work with engineers across all our IPTs is essential to defining a successful flight test mission. These are known as “human skills” or “soft skills”.
· Planning and execution of development and certification flight tests for aircraft (manned/unmanned) and systems as member of the flight test team
· Development of procedures and maneuvers for flight test cards
· Flight test mission profile design and schedule coordination
· Attending test crew pre/post mission briefings
· Participation during onsite and offsite test campaigns
· Maintenance of the flight test process and process documentation
· Development, guidance and documentation of training for flight test personnel
· Data reduction and qualified real-time/ post flight analysis
· Compilation of test reports
Additional tasks may include:
· Attendance and participation in management meetings
· Off-site support for meetings and flight test activities
Required Skills
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in aerospace engineering; alternatively a similar engineering degree or an adequate education/ experience in the aeronautical industry
