Responsibilities:
* Maintain access control procedures set by building management.

Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year prior satisfactory employment as an Unarmed Security Officer or directly related experience. Previous experience in a challenging commercial property is preferred.
Must be at least 20 years of age.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois PERC, including state accredited training requirements.
Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus.
Other Qualifications: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. You will be obligated to maintain a working telephone number and accurate residential informationthroughout your employment, so we may be able to contact you as needed.

The Transcription Specialist is responsible for creating transcripts from recorded videos or audio files for use in closed captioning.
Job Duties:
• Transcribe videos and audios of speeches and webinars, often with multiple speakers, using software such as ExpressScribe or better.
• Perform internet research for the names of people, places, agency programs, etc., which may not be clear from the material provided.
• Edit/proofread other’s transcriptions.
Job Requirements:
• Associate degree or higher in English, Journalism or Technical Writing a plus.
• Typing speed of 70-90 WPM.
• Video/audio transcription experience preferred.
• Transcribe an hour video within four hours with a minimum accuracy rating of 97.5%.
• Excellent English writing skills including grammar and punctuation.

Huron-Manistee National Forests, Mio Ranger District, Mio, Michigan
The Huron-Manistee National Forests are seeking candidates to fill a GS-0462-5/6/7 permanent Forestry Technician. This position serves as a Forestry Technician on the Mio Ranger District with principal duties being in the developed recreation program. This is a non-supervisory position, although the incumbent may provide direction to other employees on specific projects. This position requires applicants to possess and maintain a valid State driver's license.
Duties include:
The Developed Recreation Technician is primarily responsible for District’s administrative facilities and recreation sites maintenance or repairs and associated needed improvements, including overseeing small construction projects, and responsible for leading 2-4 temporary employees during the high visitor use months. The Technician applies conventional, technical and administrative solutions to a variety of recreation-related problems, such as site care and maintenance, policing, and recreation resource protection. They function as Collection Officer with primary enforcement responsibility of the District Fee Collection Plan and serve as a Forest Protection Officer enforcing compliance to the regulations associated with occupancy and use on the National Forest. The technician manages the developed recreation INFRA database to help define and assess recreation present and future conditions and would perform area safety analyses of public use sites which include performing tests to comply with MDEQ protocol on all District potable water systems and swimming beaches. Additionally, they may assist in the administration of special-use applications and performing compliance checks and inspections on existing permit holders or assist in recommending upgrades to improve developed and dispersed recreation sites.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate in writing and verbally with internal and external partners. An ability to work in a team environment is critical to success in the position. The Forestry Technician is expected to be able to handle working at a desk and understand basic use of a computer as well as enduring field work involving moderate to arduous exertion, driving on dirt roads or traversing cross-country, endure inclement weather and challenging terrain while transporting needed equipment and supplies to worksites. During the high visitor use season the Forestry Technician is expected to work weekends and holidays.
Desired qualities include:
• Knowledge of recreation management, recreation special uses, basic building facility maintenance or repair, hand tool and power equipment use as well as tolerate exposure to unpleasant odors.
• Skill in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of individuals, organizations, and agencies in a team environment.
• Capacity to work independently.
About Mio
Mio is located in the northern portion of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan in Oscoda County. Mio has a population of 2,000 (approximately 8,500 in county) and is located 90 miles north of Saginaw, Michigan and midway on the Au Sable River. The cities of Grayling and West Branch are 45 minutes away. Other communities nearby in Oscoda County are McKinley, Comins, Fairview and Luzerne. There generally is a good selection of housing starting at $70,000; however year-round rentals are somewhat scarce. Recreational activities in the area include hiking, horseback riding, swimming, camping, boating, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, hunting, motorcycle and ATV riding, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing. A nine-hole golf course is conveniently located five miles north of town and other various resort are within a 2 hour drive.

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports to the Communications Program Director in the School of Architecture. The position will support all communications activities for School of Architecture. Are you an Entry Level Engine Calibration Engineer looking for a dynamic company to join? Due to our steady growth, we have an immediate opening for an Entry Level Engine Calibration Engineer who will be responsible for delivering calibrations from demonstration level to complete powertrain production level. The Entry Level Engine Calibration Engineer must show capacity to assimilate and understand the implications of new developments, quickly responding appropriately to situations as they evolve. This position is located at our Livonia, MI facility.
Responsibilities
• Carry out dynamometer and vehicle-based calibration development.
• Analyze results to calibrate the powertrain control system.
• Support the validation and release of the calibrations into production.
• Perform hot climate, cold climate and high altitude development testing to meet customer objectives.
• Calibrate all aspects of powertrain function, including core engine and transmission control features, electronic throttle control and reliability monitor, OBDII, tailpipe and evaporative emissions and auxiliary subsystems.
• Provide positive technical contributions in a project team environment.
• Support various dyno and/or vehicle based research projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• An energetic and enthusiastic attitude toward vehicle testing and development.
• Willing to travel up to 15% within the U.S. for development testing at temperature and altitude extremes.
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment.
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• 1-3 years’ powertrain development and/or calibration experience (previous co-op/internships and/or FSAE or equivalent experience included)
• Hands-on automotive background, desire to work with engines and controls
• Strong problem solving skills
• US Citizenship highly preferred
Preferred Skills
• Experience with ETAS INCA and/or ATI Vision calibration tools.
• Matlab Simulink or C program documentation experience.
• Diesel and/or alternative fuel engine calibration experience
• US Citizenship highly preferred

Qualifications
