Functional Responsibility:
• Produce quick turn analysis products, routine trend assessments, and analysis of unit operations using Operations Research techniques.
• Facilitate reach-back analysis with the JIEDDO J9 when required.
• Work with embedded staff, such as Law Enforcement personnel, Human Intelligence Teams, and data collectors.
• Assist in evaluation of deployed JIEDDO initiatives.
• Facilitate data transfer from theater to CONUS.
Minimum Experience:
• Five years of experience in Operations Research (OR).
• Knowledge of ground forces mission types, force structure, and war fighting concepts, TTPs, and doctrine.
• Five years of experience in drafting and making oral presentations to customers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Special Operations Forces Response Cell (SRC) Intelligence Analyst serves in a team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) supporting the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) Training Transformation (T2) initiative. Primary consultant to the Special Operations Forces (SOF) SRC Lead and USSOCOM J7 on matters relating to SOF Intelligence functions. Represents USSOCOM to the US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) and Service Components as the functional SME for SOF integration with conventional forces. Plans, organizes and coordinates USSOCOM Component Command participation in JNTC accredited exercises.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensures all JNTC events are adequately supported with SOF Intelligence SMEs based upon product development and scenario requirements at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
• Coordinates with Theater, Interagency & Components for intelligence support requirements.
• Develops, coordinates, and publishes intelligence messages, scenarios and documents to ensure that exercise storylines utilized during events are realistic and accurately portray SOF missions occurring within selected Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
• Develops and implements relevant mission events/scenarios to improve SOF integration with conventional command & control (C2) structures through validation of JTCC requirements.
• Develops, prepares, staffs, and publishes exercise documents and administrative reports.
• Assists with exercise execution, decision making, quality control, and scenario control.
• Assists in scenario development/refinement via current doctrine/training audience feedback.
• Maintains currency & relevancy through analysis of current world situation, intelligence reports, SOF operational summaries, After Action Reviews (AARs), and Lessons Learned.
• Translates current operational and doctrinal procedures and Lessons Learned to realistic scenarios designed to meet Department of Defense (DOD), Interagency, Nongovernmental Organizations (NGO), Federal, State, and Local training objectives.
• Performs Mission Scenario Event List (MSEL) Manager duties.
• Provides SOF Intel expertise to JNTC accredited exercise programs directed by SRC Lead.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Former Ground Intelligence Officer or Noncommissioned Officer with background and experience supporting SOF Ground Operations.
• Knowledge/experience in Joint Special Operations Task Force (JSOTF)/Special Operations Liaison Element (SOLE), SOF doctrine, and TTPs for combined joint operations at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels.
• More than five years of current and relevant operational experience in a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC)/JSOTF, Interagency, and/or Multinational headquarters staff.

Job Description
This individual will be the Team Lead, responsible for managing the Joint Training Exercise Network (JTSC) and support the SOF Training Exercise Network (STEN) communications and exercise network. This position is a JTSC Team Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the day-to-day planning, operation and problem-solving so that a Team meets it required level of service or production. Some general categories of tasks are typical for a Team supervisor. The selected individual will participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) infrastructure. The candidate is responsible to ensure systems comply and adhere with DISA and SOCOM architecture and security practices and mandates.
The individual will be the technical STEN SME for the Joint Training Support Center (JTSC), on Eglin AFB. These activities include technical and support functions in the development and sustainment of the Joint Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) environment. Participation and development of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) as it pertains to the requirements of the JTSC and their customers. Responsibilities of these systems include but not limited to scheduling and operations, installation, engineering and provisioning, operations and support, maintenance and research and development to ensure continual innovation. This individual should be knowledgeable of the following systems: Cisco networked routers, switches and VOIP Call Supervisor, Polycom VTC suite and remote VTC stations, Windows and Linux systems that support GIS infrastructure; Exercise Networks using High Level Architecture (HLA)/Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), TCP/IP configuration ports and protocols, C2 data signaling and distribution, and Full Motion Video (FMV) data streaming, Windows and Linux application systems.
The Team Supervisor is the communication link between the front-line and management at USSOCOM J7/9-E where he or she will disseminate information to the team and forwards information to his up line in a timely manner. The selected individual will works closely with their team members to resolve customer problems and reports as required on performance, issues and resolutions. Other responsibilities include but limited to monitoring individual team members to identify and schedule required training. Part of his daily workload is staying close enough to team members to recognize their shortcomings or weaknesses to address as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform a wide range of telecommunications & network systems duties on SOF Training Exercise Network (STEN) architecture, systems, databases, and applications.
