Key Role:
Serve as the Information Assurance (IA) lead for a team providing analytical support to DoD clients in a security programs, policy, and compliance engineering role. The incumbent:
• Serves as work leader who articulates and communicates to the team the assignment, project, problem to be solved, actionable events, milestones, and/or program issues under review, and deadlines and time frames for completion, using written and/or oral instructions.
• Identifies, distributes, and balances workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established work flow, skill level, and/or occupational specialization.
• Serves as trainer on a modern computerized Point of Sale Cash Register system.
• Prepares and places orders for food and supplies from Vendors and Site Warehouse.
• Independently prepares subordinate staff in the preparation of all types of meat, poultry, seafood, vegetables, fruits, sauces, and gravies for regular and special diets.

There are dangers from slipping on wet floors, cuts from knives, and burns from hot steam, food, stoves, grease, and water.
PHYSICAL EFFORT: Work requires continual standing and walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and bending. Frequently lifts objects weighing up to 40 lbs unassisted and may lift heavier items with the assistance of lifting devices or other workers.
Incumbent may be required to work rotating shifts.

NATIONAL SECURITY: This is a National Security position that requires a background investigation. Primary Purpose: The incumbent serves as a program specialist under the supervision of the Public Assistance Branch Chief of the Recovery Division. The incumbent ensures effective and efficient delivery and program management of the Public Assistance program. When delegated, the incumbent also directs the implementation of public assistance programs, and provides leadership in and serves as coordinator for various specialty areas and/or in the various program areas. Assignments outside public assistance areas are made by the Branch Chief, when it concerns regional operational needs and setting priorities. Responsibilities can typical consist of under taking several complex projects at the same time, while meeting prescribed task time limits and project deadlines.
Due to the nature of this position and disaster programs in general, a majority of the incumbent's duties, responsibilities, and work hours are directly associated with field operations or Region Office support of specific disaster incidents. The incumbent is routinely expected to assist on disaster operations in other Regions.
During disaster field operations and program management activities in the Regional Office, as delegated by the Branch Chief, the incumbent may be required to supervise, manage, or coordinate the activities of Federal, State and local technical personnel, other permanent full time staff at lower levels within Public Assistance, and Disaster Assistance Employees (DAE).
Specific Duties:
• The incumbent manages various public assistance components of the organization required for rapid Federal response to Presidentially declared major disasters and emergencies under the provisions of Public Law 93-288, to provide assistance to the affected people, States and local governments. These components include, but are not limited to, disaster damage assessment teams, public assistance filed offices, and other field offices and operational elements as directed.
• When delegated, serves in various management and supervisory roles in the administration, coordination, and delivery of disaster assistance operations.
• The incumbent analyzes information relative to the public sector on developing situations in order to determine potential for gubernatorial request for Presidential declaration of an emergency or major disaster. When delegated, directs the operations of the public assistance elements of the integrated Federal, State, local and voluntary agency damage assessment teams, collating and evaluating the resultant findings to determine the impact of the incident on public facilities, structures and systems; provides input to the analysis, summaries, conclusions and recommendations of the incident based on the combined damage assessment for the Regional Director's approval.
• Following a Presidential declaration, incumbent ensures that there are adequate operational facilities, staff, and communications for effective program delivery and support.
• Ensures effective and efficient program delivery and program management for assigned public assistance disaster declarations. Establishes and maintains contact with counterparts in various Federal, State, local and voluntary agencies and organizations participating the operation in order to coordinate the overall public assistance program.
• Provides input for the provisions of FEMA's memorandum of understanding/agreement with other Federal agencies and private nonprofit organizations.
• Ensures Civil Rights compliance with Federal Disaster Assistance regulation concerning nondiscrimination in disaster assistance.

Specialized Experience Requirements: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.

• The technician will be working with IBM cable testers and Mod-Tap twisted pair testers (SLT-3) or similar technology that performs the same function.

• The technician may be requested to run copper and fiber wire (cable) to connect any of the clients to a data circuit. The technician shall assist in the design and layout, and provide the equipment and materials required to complete the connections.

The technician must furnish proof of being certified in Avaya, Systimax, Panduit or a similar product manufacturer line. • Ability to conceptualize a total proposal solution and the information needed to support the solution, and then manage solution development at the detail level while maintaining focus on the win strategy

• Manage all aspects of vendor performance and quality management including monitoring/evaluating performance against KPIs, satisfaction surveys and identifying quality improvement measures. Also includes spend and ROI and other management information needs
• Execute the strategy for vendor management to support changing business workforce needs of the business
• Working closely with recruiting operations, business and talent leaders to ensure sourcing/recruiting needs are met
• Work in collaboration with compliance, project and operations manager to execute policy and process
• Partner with project and operations manager on ongoing and project based hiring initiatives
• Identify cost efficiencies, trends and process improvements
• Ensure adherence to guidelines, policies, processes and legal compliance
• Define and communicate vendor programs and service level agreements as well as internal policies and processes to key stakeholders
• Lead, manage and motivate a team of project managers (Vendor provided) and foster a collaborative environment
• Build effective and collaborative relationships with recruiting/HR partners to understand business needs and ensure optimum vendor service delivery and satisfaction
• Provide thought leadership and expertise on best practices, trends, and new developments in vendor management
• Manage day-to-day relationships with mid- to large-scale service suppliers

Qualifications:
• College degree (BA or BS) with 5+ years of general business or financial experience required. Experience in a recruiting organization and account management strongly desired
• 5+ years of experience in a recruiting organization desirable. Demonstrated experience directing mid- to large-scale vendor management programs/initiatives
• Exceptional people and project/program management, quantitative analysis, communication skills (verbal, written, platform), highly developed critical thinking skills and interpersonal skills
• Strong strategic and operational orientation and ability to comprehend and execute against broad complex organizational needs
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with senior leadership and account reps
• Effectively operate across borders to influence outcomes and demonstrated ability to work in a multi-demand matrix enterprise environment
• Ability to use technology effectively and efficiently to manage workload. Working knowledge of automated recruiting systems required; Knowledge of recruiting policies and processes

Description: We are currently looking for a Maintenance Utility Mechanic at a power plant in Naperville, IL. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the operation and logging of all building and power plant equipment. This includes Co-Generation boilers, chillers, steam turbine, compressors, pumps and HVAC systems. Some other responsibilities include working with a team under the direction of the maintenance supervisor. Performing regeneration of D.I. units and softeners. Minimum Qualifications:

Duties and Responsibilities: We are seeking power engineers in the following areas: Substation Design Engineer, Distribution Planning Engineer, Operations Support Engineer, Field Applications and Materials Engineer

The Distribution Substation Engineer is responsible for the design and material specification for new substations and modifications to existing substations. The engineer is also responsible for assisting in the development of substation maintenance plans and activities as well as responding to substation equipment failures and related events. Duties include development and tracking of project budgets as well as project management.

The Distribution Planning Engineer will have primary responsibility for electric distribution planning. Duties include development of load projections and capacity expansion plans, solutions for voltage and reliability concerns, review and approval of plans to provide electric service to large customers, performing studies for emerging issues and development/maintenance of distribution system design basis and procedures documents.

The Operations Support Engineer will have primary responsibility for real-time technical support to our Electric Distribution Control Center. The Engineer ensures corrective actions; emergent problems and safety concerns related to the design and operation of distribution system are addressed in a timely and effective manner. The Engineer works directly with Distribution Planning and Protection workgroups to evaluate abnormal system occurrences and peak load conditions.

The Field Applications and Materials Engineers are responsible for evaluation and specification of distribution line materials as well as construction standards for application of these materials. The engineer will also provide technical support for complex customer installations as well as training and engineering assistance to field personnel.
