Principal Accountabilities
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Single point of contact for Maintenance Test Pilot standardization, the ME assists the program Chief of Standards with the supervision and maintenance of the maintenance standardization program. The ME ensures all MPs/MEs are fully integrated into the ATP, trains and evaluates MPs/MEs in their designated aircraft, ensures compliance with all INL/A Operations directives, Aircrew Training Manuals (ATM), and ATP requirements. As the Program Managers maintenance representative, the ME must possess a complete understanding of the ATP. Additionally the ME must be able to objectively train, evaluate, and document the performance of MPs/MEs, and develop individual flight training plans in support of the organization�s mission and ATP. The ME serves as a member of the Standardization Committee, and as such must be able to provide guidance to all MPs/MEs as well as recommendations for improvement and modification to the existing ATP to ensure compliance with current and future mission requirements. Responsible for standardization administrative duties, i.e. flight records, AWIS, Reports, publications and references. Monitors flight instruction, to include standardization of transitions, annual proficiency reviews, and flight evaluations. Conducts academic and hands-on performance training and administers evaluations to ensure crewmember proficiency and standardization of training in addition to maintaining IATF's and completing required AWIS entries. Potential for exposure to hostile fire at OCONUS sites is high.

Brief Description: Systems Security Engineer to support the MDA Information Assurance Roles Based Administration Crew. Position is located at Dahlgren, VA and supports the JRDC program.
Complete Description: System Security Engineer to support JRDC Infrastructure Engineering Information Assurance for MDA. Responsibilities include providing technical security engineering support for complex software/hardware/network systems. Applying system security engineering principles to provide realistic solutions designed to enhance MDA security posture. Specific expertise includes Infrastructure Design, Systems Security and Documentation Development. Strong writing and project management skills necessary to oversee and lead engineering projects and produce documentation required for certification evaluation. Must be highly self motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Must have creative problem-solving abilities and an ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Must be capable of working with minimal oversight in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Minimum Requirements: Skilled and proficient in using IA/CND DISA direction and industry best practices for strategic planning and consultation. Experience with automated tools such as Retina, Gold Disk, STIG's and SRR scripts. Experience with Windows Active Directory and Windows application security. Must be CISSP certified to meet DoD Directive 8570 requirements. Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience. Must have or possess the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
Preferred Requirements: Knowledge of configuration management, wireless system security, Unix operating systems, IAVM Program, DIACAP process, open source software operating systems, TEMPEST enforcement, CAC/PKI technology, security incident handling, software testing and evaluation, Common Criteria requirements and FIPS 140-2 standards. Essential qualifications for a successful candidate include: the ability to quickly adapt to new situations, a strong commitment to a team environment, a willingness to learn new technologies and the ability to de-conflict requests/requirements.

Position Summary:
The Chief, Airfield Management (CAM) serves as Airfield Manager, providing oversight of the Airfield Management function. Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) Subject Matter Experts (SME)
These SMEs will support/assist Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat
Operations (JIEDDO) Joint Center of Excellence (JCOE) in the daily
operations and performing daily liaison operations attending various site
meetings and tracking taskers/suspense from higher headquarters for
JIEDDO/JCOE senior management at various locations for the performance
period of 14OCT11 through 13OCT12 at NTC Fort Irwin, California. JCOE
Concept of Operations These Full Time Equivalent (FTE) personnel will assist
JCOE in identifying issues and providing recommendations on the introduction
of new technology and capabilities into the Services training domains in
order to enhance individual, unit, and collective training for deploying
units that participate in mission rehearsal exercises or at the unit's home
station. Responsibilities include:
1. Receiving, reviewing, maintaining, and tracking the completion of
internal and external tasks (received via electronic, written, or verbal
communications) using both internal and the JIEDDO Enterprise Management
System (JEMS) with government provided training and written guidelines.
2. Monitoring and tracking of JCOE training initiatives.
3. Conducting analysis of tasks (to include congressional queries) and
requests for information (RFI) and forwarding said tasks and RFIs to the
appropriate organization(s) for action.
4. Review of internally generated Counter-IED written materials for clarity
and accuracy.
5. Supporting the generation of periodic (weekly, monthly, semi-annual and
annual) reports for JIEDDO.
6. Assisting Government personnel with performing continuous review of Joint
Operational Needs Statements and Training Needs Statements as well as
participate in various technology conferences and coordinate with
JIEDDO/JCOE and JIEDDO/TRID to provide up-to-date solutions to training
requirements identified by JCOE's Training Support Division and Future
Capabilities Division.
7. Conducting studies and market research to keep abreast of system
technological advances to include training in and expanding knowledge of
system technological advances and development of future systems as they are
developed and advise the Government on emerging technologies during the
period of this contract.
8. Position Qualifications:
. Hold a Top Secret Security Clearance (TS/SCI).
. Associates Degree or related technical discipline, or the
equivalent combination of education, technical training, or
work/military experience.
. Minimum of 12 years of directly related training experience.
. Knowledge of or experience in: the government acquisition system;

10. Verify all General Contractors have proper licenses, insurance, safety

The research analyst shall coordinate and archive DOD, Joint, Service, Federally Funded Research Facilities, Industry and Academic studies and assessments conducted in support of efforts. Tasks shall include the cataloging of studies and assessments; maintenance of an interactive database to cross reference tactics, techniques and procedures against known technology capabilities; and dissemination of results to appropriate individuals and agencies. The research analyst shall be responsible for scheduling conferences, meetings and briefings, and tracking and reporting on action items. The research analyst shall develop and maintain a database to track red and blue teaming system progress and coordinate with the Technical and Requirements Integration Division (TRID), for initiatives in the IED Defeat Capability Approval and Acquisition Management Process (JCAAMP); ensure all proposed countermeasure systems are scheduled for Technical Red/Blue Team analysis; directs the reverse engineering, building and validation of electronic and mechanical devices to be used in the counter-IED fight; and is responsible for meeting the varying technical specifications required for the construction and delivery of such devices and systems. The research analyst shall be responsible for managing the overall development of prototyping of possible future IED arming and triggering devices based on adaptations of commercial-off-theshelf (COTS) technology.

CAS has an immediate fill position for a VMware Systems Administrator to support JRDC contract for MDA. Responsibilities include serving as a Systems Administrator specializing in the managing and operating of a virtualized environment using Windows and Linux Systems Management. Primary duties include running through a daily battle-rhythm of checks on the virtualized environment, viewing and responding to events reflected in the various management tools, server patch management, attending various meetings (team, staff, change, configuration, etc.), participating in forward thinking activities and automating. Must have a strong networking background with an emphasis on security. Must have a strong analytical background with accompanying troubleshooting skills. Strong communication skills also required.
