1. Remedy System Developer (Colorado Springs, CO)

CAS has a potential near-future requirement to provide Remedy System Development support at SAFB. Duties include supporting as a member of a team responsible for the BNOSC Remedy solution that will assist in maintaining a design plan for Remedy implementation and then operate and manage the application. Administer application data daily; process queries and reports as requested by users and monitor server logs to ensure that all system transactions are processed correctly. Manage Remedy user accounts and process access requests. Ensure Remedy applications are properly patched and on the most current versions. Assist in the development, change, test and deployment of BNOSC processes into Remedy and work directly with managers and other Remedy developers within the BNOSC. Work within internal guidance to ensure Remedy suite of applications is fully supported. Monitor and manage the operating systems supporting the Remedy servers and back-end databases and web servers. Maintain and manage the Remedy support and maintenance contract to ensure that all available support is current. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline and 8 years experience in the IT field is preferred, however, an Associates with 12 years may also be considered. Minimum two years development experience with Remedy AR System application and two years administration experience with MS Windows Servers. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player and able to work in a team and structured change environment. The candidate will serve as a member of the HP Monitoring Tools team performing HP Openview production operations, maintenance, build and test. Utilizes Business Availability Center (BAC), Universal Configuration Management Database (uCMDB), Discovery and Dependency Mapping (DDM), Business Process Monitor (BPM), Sitescope, Operations Manager for Windows (OMW), Network Node Manager (NNM), Internet Services and Performance Insight. Duties include design, implement and maintain secure applications on integrated Windows-based systems to support MDIOC and the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Enterprise. Design and execute a tech refresh project that will migrate applications and associated databases to new server platforms. Research/evaluate new technology and provide recommendations for use. Write technical documents to include requirements, design, plans and others. CAS has an immediate fill requirement to provide a SW Engineer. Duties include providing support for a MS Access Database upgrade/migration to SQL Server 2005/2008. Implement certification and accreditation (C&A) requirements for specialized CND systems within the CERT, and document/maintain records for them. The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems.

This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments.
Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction.
Work involves: replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft.
Job duties require that this mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes.

Responsible for working single phase & three phase self-contained meters on residential and commercial accounts.

Relay Trainee
1) Must actively participate and successfully complete a training program under the direction of the Mississippi Training and Evaluation Committee (TEC).
2) Under close and directive supervision, perform any work required for construction, installation, maintenance, and testing of all types of equipment used in the control and protection of electrical transmission and distribution lines and substations and generating station equipment.
Performs such duties as:
1) Installing, maintaining, testing, trouble-shooting, repairing, altering, removing or replacing equipment or devices used in the protection, operation, or maintenance of circuit breakers, voltage regulators, transformers, generators, associated communication facilities, and other related equipment. Checking new and existing installations of relay and control equipment in substations to verify correctness of operation.
2) Constructing relay panels and control switchboards, including cutting, mounting, wiring and painting, as required for a new job or for modifications to existing equipment.
3) Planning and performing switching operations associated with the maintenance of substation equipment.
4) Participating in safety meetings and activities and carrying out all approved safety and good housekeeping practices.
5) Driving safely an automobile or light truck & performing other related or less skilled work as directed.
6) Performing assigned duties under established methods and procedures as directed, and carrying out work assignments under observation or checking from time to time by a Supervisor, an Engineer or another qualified Relay personnel.

4) Must be able to develop a working knowledge of practical electricity and be able to apply knowledge to control systems and relaying. Be able to also develop a working knowledge of electrical and electronic test equipment and to perform required circuit analysis using such test equipment.
5) Must be able to develop a working knowledge of a basic electrical circuit and have the ability to apply this acquired knowledge to the trouble-shooting, repair, and maintenance of substation and generating stations.
6) Must be able to learn to read, understand, and use schematics, one-line diagrams, and other instructional material to check out new and old relay and control systems of a complex nature, such as used in distribution, transmission substations.

DUTIES
Under close or directive supervision, performs any work required for the construction, installation, removal, testing and/or maintenance of all types of structures, conductors, (see ¿2¿ below) and other devices utilized in substations, switching stations, generating plants, voltage regulator stations and transformer banks employed in the production, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. Performs such duties as:
1.Installing, connecting, testing, removing, maintaining or repairing; metering equipment, remote control and indication equipment, switchboards, rectifies, batteries, transformers, voltage regulators, reactors, circuit breakers, disconnecting switches, instruments, relays, lightning arresters, lighting systems, control cables and other allied equipment.
2.Working on energized conductors under the following restrictions: during his first year as a SC&M Trainee, work confined to conductors energized at 600 volts or less; confined to simple primary work under the direct supervision of a Substation Construction and Maintenance Man during his second year as a SC&M Trainee, provided that both his supervisor and the SC&M Man with whom he is assigned to work are satisfied with his qualifications.
3.Participating in safety meetings and activities and carrying out all approved safety and good housekeeping practices.
4.Driving a truck and operating associated equipment such as winch, hydraulic boom, various hydraulically operated tools, etc.
5.Under the direct supervision of a Substation Construction and Maintenance Man or a Senior Substation Construction and Maintenance Man, planning and performing switching operations associated with the routine maintenance of substation equipment.
6.Through applying himself on the job and taking outside study courses, qualify him to fill a Substation Construction & Maintenance Man classification.
7.Performing other related or less skilled work as directed.
Qualifications
Must have basic knowledge of electricity.
1.Possess the mental aptitude and physical dexterity to learn such skills as: electrical welding; acetylene, welding, cutting and brazing; bending and shaping electrical bus, conduit and EMT; soldering electrical wiring, testing and trouble-shooting techniques; reading and interpreting physical and electrical diagrams, one-line diagrams and operating and maintenance instructions; removing, installing and erecting all types of substation equipment, painting, etc.
2.Have a basic knowledge of the names, use and care of tools ordinarily used in mechanical and electrical construction and maintenance work.
3.Be familiar with the Company’s safety rules, established methods of resuscitation and be able to render practical first aid.

Job Description:
The Aircraft Mechanic I troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti-icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating systems. This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls, and plumbing and hydraulic units, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment such as shears, sheet metal brake, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills. This worker reads and interprets manufacturers' and airline's maintenance manuals, service bulletins, technical data, engineering data, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components.
This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections, examines reciprocating engines for cracked cylinders and oil leaks, and listens to operating engine to detect and diagnose malfunctions, such as sticking or burnt valves, inspects jet engines and components for cracks, corrosion, foreign object damage, burned areas, distortions, security, warping, wear, and missing segments. Inspects jet engine turbine blades to detect cracks, distortion, corrosion, burn-out, security, or breaks, tests engine operation, using testing equipment, such as ignition analyzer, compression checker, distributor timer, ammeter, and jet calibration (Jetcal) tester, to locate source of malfunction. Work involves: replacing or repairing worn or damaged components, such as carburetors, alternators, magnetos, fuel controls, fuel pumps, oil pumps, and engine mounted gearboxes, and compressor bleed valves using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment; removing engine from aircraft, using hoist or forklift truck, disassembling and inspecting parts for wear, cracks, security, or other defects, and repairing or replacing defective engine parts and reassembles and installs engine in aircraft.
Job duties require that this mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections, performs miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, including flushing crankcase, cleaning screens and filters, greasing moving parts, and checking brakes. This incumbent supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair. This worker may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration.

This incumbent supervises the jacking and towing of aircraft, enters in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verifies the work was performed satisfactorily, may service engines and airframe components at line station making repairs, short of overhaul, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition, may specialize in work, repair and modification of structural, precision, and functional spare parts and assemblies, and may specialize in engine repair. This worker may be required to be licensed by Federal Aviation Administration.

Details: Work from order sheets to build loads for transport, bulk and/or route trucks, using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy, both on what is loaded onto outgoing trucks and what is unloaded from incoming trucks.
Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of product from the warehouse onto a trailer, and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats. Include unloading of raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space.
Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of product from the warehouse, then loading them onto a pallet. Responsible for maintaining the stability of the pallet by properly stacking and shrink wrapping the built pallet. In most cases, load pallets onto a trailer for local delivery. Unloading returned product and pallets/plastic flats.
Conventional truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of product from the warehouse, then loading them into the bays of a route truck which the salesperson selected for that particular product/package - includes unloading returned product/pallets/plastic flats. This is a very physical position.
Position requires lifting product weighing from 20 - 45 pounds repeatedly during a 10-12 hour work period. Requires constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting reaching and grasping as you move product
PRIMARY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Organize and clean work area. Refer to load ticket to plan approach to building the order
• Build load: Drive hi-lift to picking area and build pallet Mark load ticket for out of stock items
• Finish load: Wrap pallet when complete
• Turn in paper work with order for check before loading Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
• Retrieve product and load truck according to load sheet; have truck checked
• Clean up: Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets. Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area
