1. FT/PERM POSITION: Forging / Metallurgical Engineer - Colorado Springs, CO (with funds available for relocation for qualified candidates)
Forging process and metallurgical engineering expert for all metal materials.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recommend materials selection and processing appropriate to the specific application.
• Establish and maintain all heat treatment operating processes
• Establish root cause of metal materials failure and make corrective recommendations.
• Identify metals and processing cost reduction opportunities and effect implementation.
• Plans and formulates engineering project(s), prepares appropriation requests, coordinates specific phases or aspects of project such as technical studies, product design, preparation of specifications, and technical plans and product testing. Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications, and drawing releases. Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget. Reports on projects status.
• Provide engineering support for cost reduction efforts to include analyzing and reporting on scrap data.
• Research, develop, fabricate, and troubleshoot machinery, processes and tooling to manufacture product lines in forge and coin areas. Interface with vendors or suppliers to determine machinery specifications and arrange purchase of equipment, materials or parts. Install and launch new equipment and processes.
• Provide engineering support for new product development including creating detail drawings, obtaining prototypes, and planning tooling/equipment/processes. Evaluate product according to specification and quality standards.

Qualification Requirements:
• Minimum four year degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science or related field. (Preference will be given to candidates with advanced degrees).
• Minimum five years of relative experience in steel based metallurgy and processing (forging and heat treating) .
• Knowledge of quality principles and Statistical Process Control (SPC) is preferred.
Operation of metallurgical laboratory equipment and inspection tools
Ability to develop, analyze, technical reports/drawings, data and charts.
Ability to present information and respond to questions from employees at all levels – internal and external to the organization.
Ability to manage and prioritize numerous simultaneous projects/tasks.

Compensation: Target Compensation: $70-85K+ (nego) on base (depending on education, experience, etc), PLUS bonus, health benefits, vacation, and paid time off.

MAJOR DUTIES
> Supports CBP’s anti-terrorism operations by performing law enforcement aviation operations

Overview:

4. Seeking a Systems Engineer/Analyst to provide technical management support to its government customers at HQ Air Force Space Command, Colorado Springs, CO.

Security Clearance Required: TS/SCI (SCI current within last 2 years)

Technical Skills Required/Responsibilities:
• Experience with modeling and simulation of Space Control related functions or operations such as C2 systems, and the Space Control Enterprise Architecture, that support integrated investment plans, budgets, war games, exercises, and demonstrations. Assists AFSPC Action Officers in developing and executing Space Control analysis.
• Assesses the mission effectiveness of Space Control systems using modeling and simulation outputs for systems in development, potential systems, and fielded systems using government-provided/approved scenarios and models (e.g., SSN Analysis Model [SSNAM], Thunder, Storm, and Space Surveillance Performance Assessment Tool [SSPAT]). Conducts research/analysis and delivers issue papers/briefs, as requested.
• Administers, organizes, and/or attends conferences, meetings, and working groups and provides detailed minutes as required.
• Produces and outputs support investment strategies based on quantifying increases in capabilities across the Space Control mission area. Complies with all DoD, USAF, and AFSPC security guidance, procedures, and control measures.
• Accomplishes the administrative requirements necessary in staffing packages, responding to taskers, and coordinating on memoranda, point papers, briefings, charts, and spreadsheets.
• Maintains documentation in an electronic library database.
Qualifications:

• Experience doing “effectiveness” analysis for the AF/DoD
• Understanding of orbital mechanics and associated analysis tools
• Understanding of verification, validation, and accreditation
• Understanding of Strategic Planning Scenarios and the analytic agenda

5. SPEC-NETWORK OPERATIONS (Fort Wayne, IN)

Position Responsibilities
• Responsible for the daily management, maintenance and configuration of the companies’ Motorola DAC’s. Regular tasks include, but are not limited to: managing OS upgrades on the DAC platform, performing daily backups, commissioning of new and replaced hardware in the video network, implement all channel map changes & local blackouts, implementing code downloads to set-top hardware and maintaining all DAC related documentation. The successful candidate will also provide Tier I and Tier II support, working closely with VHO Managers & Engineers and Motorola’s support team to provide technical oversight and/or DAC troubleshooting and support as required. Candidate will also support the development of required processes and procedures (daily operations & troubleshooting) for the DAC platform and associated systems.

Required Skills & Experience:
• Minimum Associate technical degree or 4 years related work experience
• 2+ years Motorola DAC operations experience
• 2+ years Cable, Satellite and Telephony Industries knowledge
• 2+ years of experience with IT centric skills (such as software administration, implementation & configuration)

The Liaison Officer/Planner (LNO/P) will be responsible for representing NEK and its interests when dealing with the client. Application Service Owner is responsible for all facets of Service Delivery and Service Commitments under the Application Service tasking. Description:
The Systems Administrator troubleshoots and resolves network, equipment,
configuration, interface and protocol problems. Monitors network performance and
security measures. Performs maintenance asks on servers, hubs, and similar
equipment. Supports configuration management. Performs network backups, file
restores, preventative maintenance, and testing. Assists with technical solutions.
Implements upgrades/changes. Develop and distributes SCCM packages. Adds,
removes, deletes, and modifies accounts and permissions supports security
management directions from Information Assurance Office. Provide on‐call/standby
or possibly work other than normal hours for system upgrades, patches, etc.
Provide support to HQ in both training and Level 2 support.

Minimum Requirements:

Have completed most work toward DoD 8570 requirements, MCSE or MCSA, and
ITIL certifications. Employee must possess or obtain one of the following
certifications (GSEC, Security+, SCNP, or SSCP) within 6 months after the date of
hire. Requires at least 5 years technical training or equivalent experience, with 3
years experience in networking, help desk and customer service/technical
support, or systems administration. Good communication and management skills
are mandatory, as well as the ability to work harmoniously in a team
environment with government customers and other contractors.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in Windows server, print, file, and SQL server systems. Knowledgeable
of FTP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directory, and Group Policy Objectives
technologies. Knowledgeable of security practices, plus experience in contingency

Experience:

Five years experience with NCC or MAJCOM NOSC O&M and AFSPC systems or

Brief Description:

Work as part of an engineering support team responsible for cable plant management, installation, and troubleshooting of voice, data, video, and fiber optic cable plant for the MDIOC and within the MDA Colorado Springs region (MAN and Tail sites).

Complete Description:

Responsible for providing Colorado Springs Region (COS)/MDIOC cable plant management, cable installation, and related network equipment installation and troubleshooting support for assigned projects and tasks. Responsible for reading, providing redlines, and updates to related engineering drawings (ICD), change packages, Facility Installation Standard (FIS), cable data sheets, and cable database.

Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot Cat5, Cat6, fiber, copper and video cable. Rack and stack network, audio/visual, cable TV, telephone, and electronic equipment; Cat5/CAT6 and fiber cable management equipment.

Review, implement and provide updates to REMEDY tickets.

Review, implement and provide input to Detailed Design & Implementation Packages (DDIP) for cable and network equipment installation related tasking. Conduct site surveys in support of engineering/project management requirements for design, installation, integration, de-installation, and troubleshooting tasking.

Provide schedule updates and resource loading inputs to Project Management, Engineering, Network Operations and Scheduling, as required.

Knowledge of networks, telephone, audio/video, cable TV and electronic systems as related to cable plant management, installation and troubleshooting.

Local travel to COS MAN and Tail sites may be required.

Experience:

5 years of experience in Network Operations & Maintenance, Engineering, Telephony, Systems Administration or IT environment.

Scheduler to support the Warfighter BMDS Integration (WBI)organization on the JRDC
Complete Description:
Scheduler to assist WBI Task Order (TO) Leads and Event Leads in developing IMS's traceable to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP), the TO Basis of Estimates and resulting in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) that can be integrated at the Program level. WBI TOs employ approximately 80% discrete tasks. Applicant will use Earned Value Management System (EVMS) techniques to track progress against the schedule. The IMS must be resourced to assist the TO Leads in understanding facility and personnel conflicts. The applicant will use standardized Systems Engineering Technical Processes (Configuration Management, Risk Management, Requirements Management and Data Management). Scheduler will work closely with WBI TO Leads, Project Managers and Infrastructure Matrix employees. They will develop and manage the WBI schedule management process and will facilitate integration across all JRDC TO / Projects. The scheduler will identify critical paths and collect useful reporting metrics. The scheduler will coordinate with TO Leads and Event Leads for progress/status reports and be responsible for generating EVMS data. The scheduler will also develop recommendations on appropriate schedule structures, resource allocations, level of detail, naming conventions, and procedures for use within the projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with minimum of 6 years of experience. Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance. Excellent collaboration, teaming, communication and presentation skills are required. Must be proactive in working with peers, customers, and managers to achieve goals. Proficiency in MS Project Professional is a must. Knowledge of scheduling techniques is required. Capability to work in a high tempo and challenging environment is a must. Must have an understanding of EVMS.
