JOB DESCRIPTION?*
The purpose of the US Special Operations Command Lessons Learned Program
is to save lives, resources, and time through aggressive global
collection, analysis, outreach, and dissemination of relevant U.S.
Special Operations Forces observations, insights, and lessons to the
Special Operations Forces (SOF) warfighter and Joint Community.
*Specific duties include:*
Prepare collection plans and collect data using direct methods of
interviewing and observation. Assist with the collection, archiving,
analysis, resolution, and dissemination of observations, insights, and
lessons learned to support the customer. Use systems within a
collaborative environment to support the program through proactive
lessons learned sharing, peer review, and facilitation between
operations forces organizations and other stakeholders. Document special
project staff roles, responsibilities, organization and processes for
best practices and efficiencies that support the Command?s Mission and
Vision. Leverage cross-functional military Services and government
agencies analytical studies and LL to recommend adjustments to JSOC
processes. Compile Before Action Reports, After Action Reports,
Executive Summaries, Post Activity Bulletins and Requests for
Information. Documentation shall be complete and include substantiated
findings and recommendations, consistent with a high level of quality
control and distribution ready. The documentation shall also be
audience-specific and captured at the appropriate security level. Brief
and advise senior JSOC leadership on the effectiveness of the LL
findings, potential approaches, benefits for capability resolution, and
implications.

As a Line Specialist Cable Technician, you will impact the following:

Supporting Operations as a technical expert on all aspects of the electric distribution system and equipment from 34.5 kV down to secondary voltages and providing root cause analysis for system or equipment issues
Providing operations support in day-to-day activities, planned outage coordination, non-planned outage investigations, fault locating, loading concerns, voltage issues, harmonics, RFI/EMF investigations, and safety/operations procedure reviews
Leading or providing technical expertise in the development and evaluation of existing and future distributed energy resources, microgrids, demand-side management, distribution automation, and smart technology programs including documentation

As a Journey Water Pipefitter, you will be part of the Water Construction and Maintenance team dedicated to the reliable and safe operation of our water distribution system and the physical assets used to deliver water to Colorado Springs Utilities’ customers. These assets include water mains, valves, stop boxes, service lines, manholes, curb stops, and hydrants. As a pipefitter you will perform water pipeline installations and maintenance, maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, and ensure that underground utilities have been located properly, barricades are properly placed, and that employees and contractors are working in a safe environment.
Starting pay for a Journey Water Pipefitter is $34.45/hr. Once you have completed probation (typically 6 months) your pay will increase to $36.17/hr (single-pay rate).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to…
Connecting and inspecting water mains and service lines
Safe handling of water main/service lines
Obtaining and Maintaining Operator Qualifications
Locates underground pipelines and utilities
Inspects the condition of existing pipes for cathodic protection
Operates leak detection equipment; identifies the exact location of leaks; classifies leaks
Taps low- and high-pressure pipelines
Reads and complies with blueprints and specifications for projects

USG 1, supported by KGES, is seeking multiple talented Advanced
Verification Engineers for our direct client, a large federal contractor
in Linthicum Heights, MD, to join a team of highly qualified, diverse
individuals in Digital Technology.
Qualified applicants will become part of the Digital Technology
department, which specializes in product designs for a variety of
applications from undersea to outer space.
The individuals will perform functional verification of register
transfer level (RTL) code of a complex ASIC at block level and SOC level
using UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) and System Verilog and
Cadence Xcelium simulation tool. This task includes but is not limited
to the development of testbench, tests, verification IP (VIP),
verification models, coverage models, extensive simulation and debug,
code coverage and functional coverage, generation and analysis of
reports and metrics, documentation, etc.
This candidate will have the ability to operate in a team environment
and collaborate across different teams as required to accomplish the goals.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

The Distribution System Operator is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of the gas distribution system in accordance with the Department of Transportation requirements. As a municipal four-service utility, Colorado Springs Utilities is both an owner and operator of our power generation and transmission equipment. Our Relay Instrumentation Control team is hiring a Senior Relay Protection and Controls Technician to maintain the safety and performance of our electric system comprised of 57 substations, 232 miles of transmission lines, and 8 power generation plants. Our Relay Technicians manage their own schedules while supporting a service territory that is easily accessible within a 30-minute drive, ensuring a positive work-life balance.
A day in the life of a Senior Relay Protection and Controls Technician may include:
Installing, calibrating, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, tuning, and repairing critical protection and control systems, with an emphasis on quality assurance for relay and control systems and high-speed communication-assisted relay schemes (electro-mechanical, solid state, and microprocessor-based)
Working on Transmission, Distribution, and Substation protection devices
Interacting with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
Interacting with control systems, logic controllers, and operating systems via serial and networked communications
Utilizing system performance monitoring equipment (e.g., fault recorders, SERs, and power quality monitors)
Protective relay and data channels via fiber optics, copper pair, and telecommunications carriers associated with various communication systems
Programming, installing, testing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all protective relay equipment
Ensuring compliance with mandated maintenance intervals on the bulk power system and submitting required documentation to demonstrate compliance
Recommending, modifying, and installing new hardware and software components and/or systems
Assisting design engineers in reviewing, developing, and maintaining detailed drawing packages and documentation as needed to modify circuitry for various installations, upgrades, and improvements
Assuming a lead role in equipment installation during the commissioning of projects
Who You Are
Completion of a relay technician apprenticeship or training program or relevant work experience in lieu of formal training or certification
Experience with transmission line and substation protective relay control systems
Experience with SCADA system automation, installation, testing, and troubleshooting

collaborate with counterparts in the Intel Community, to inform

matter expertise in proven analytic techniques and current analytic

Abilities requested: *
* Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing analytical
intelligence related operations while serving in an Intelligence

equivalent IA operational community.
* Comprehensive knowledge of lnteragency concepts and principles,

As an Equipment Condition Specialist, you will join our talented Operations Technical Services Department responsible for the collection and analysis of data to support the predictive maintenance of plant equipment as well as the acceptance of new installations of critical equipment. This is an advanced level position that will perform a variety of inspections, measurements, and analysis to assess the health of equipment. Develop clear and concise summary reports of all findings
Active involvement in the design and execution of plant maintenance program
Design and maintain databases for the comprehensive monitoring and diagnostic evaluation of critical equipment
Consult with managers, contractors and engineers regarding the condition of equipment and necessary corrections for proper operation and/or contract compliance

What will it take to be successful in this position? Colorado Springs Utilities' Wastewater Planning team is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Engineer to provide engineering support, direction, and expertise for long-term planning and projects for our Water Resource Recovery Facilities (WRRFs). You will update and expand our Wastewater System Plan which looks at the existing loading and capacity of our WRRFs and plans for future capital projects required to meet changing regulatory requirements. You will also assist wastewater treatment plant staff with planning and design considerations for capital projects.
With dozens of lift stations, thousands of miles of pipelines, two WRRFs, and a solids handling facility, this opportunity provides intellectually challenging and rewarding work and the opportunity to develop and grow as an engineer within the field. You will also have the opportunity to work across all areas of our wastewater system from wastewater collection to treatment. Conducting studies and alternatives analyses regarding compliance with regulatory or permit requirements, treatment process improvements, and projects identified in our 20-year capital improvement plans
Developing engineering design criteria for capital projects
Preparing, maintaining, and submitting reports related to engineering projects
Assisting plant and environmental staff in negotiating with the Colorado Department of Health & Environment when WRRF operating permits are renewed
Providing engineering support for operations troubleshooting and process optimization
Who You Are
Relevant and progressively responsible wastewater engineering experience
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
Experience with wastewater treatment plant computer modeling software (e.g., BioWin)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license

the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law
Enforcement Affairs (INL) in Mexico City, Mexico, which requires
professional and administrative support services to work with the U.S.
Foreign Assistance Program to Mexico.
Responsibilities:
* The position is located in Mexico City, Mexico. Travel to other
locations in Mexico, the United States, and other countries may be
required.
* Provides forensic chemistry knowledge and subject matter expertise
to INL and GOM officials in the development of drug profiling
programs involving Fentanyl, Methamphetamine, Heroin, and Cocaine.
Assists in the identification and investigation of new synthetic
routes of manufacture for Methamphetamine and Fentanyl. Identifies
and investigates new chemical precursors and essential chemicals
utilized by Synthetic Drug Producing Transitional Criminal
Organizations (TCOs).
* The forensic chemist will gather inputs from FGR chemists to assist
INL in identifying emerging trends, new psychoactive substances, and
new precursor chemicals used to synthesize fentanyl
* Coordinates forensic chemistry training provided to GOM officials,
provides best practices for use in synthetic drug and clandestine
laboratories investigations.
* Coordinate Synthetic Drug Conferences with GOM Military, Federal,
State and Local law enforcement officials.
* Coordinate Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Profiling conferences with
GOM forensic chemists.
* Prepares a plan to assist GOM capacity to identify and enforce the
diversion of precursor and essential chemicals needed to manufacture
synthetic drugs.
* Provides inputs for GOM assistance initiatives, including presenting
synthetic drug-related forensic chemistry investigations and
seizures to federal criminal prosecutors in the Mexican Judicial System.
* The chemist will identify GOM chemists for invitation to U.S.
conferences directly related to synthetic drugs and clandestine
manufacture, for example the Clandestine Laboratory Investigating
Chemist Association (CLIC) has yearly conferences addressing
synthetic drugs and clandestine laboratories. The chemist would plan
similar conferences in Mexico and identify chemists for invitation
from the GOM and other countries as pertinent. The Clandestine
Laboratories Investigators Association (CLIA) meets annually to
discuss synthetic drugs, profiling, new technologies and
instruments, and new protocols and practices. The chemist would
identify the appropriate attendees for such events and invite them
with USG approval.

The North Shore Water Reclamation District (NSWRD) is a municipal body which
was organized in 1914 under the North Shore Sanitary District Act of 1911. The
