Security Policy Implementation. Provide information systems security engineering, security solutions, and security
guidance to the customer. Provide comprehensive evaluation of the technical and non-technical security features of IT

Vulnerability Notices. Provide for the management, control, monitoring, and protection of essential elements and
applications to ensure its availability to support the needs of the customer and their clients. Analyze, determine and
recommend methods, approaches, and step-by-step plans with technical justification required to resolve open Security
findings and/or other security vulnerabilities existing at a site. Assist in determining the technical and operational
mission impacts caused by degradations, outages, and the improper use and failure to implement security vulnerability
directives.
Situational Awareness Reports. Experience in the development of Situational Awareness Reports that comply with
customer requirements. Provide weekly reports and assessments that can be compared or analyzed against the prior
weekly reports to identify inconsistent security settings of all servers.
Site Requirements Analysis. The individual shall request, participate and coordinate sensor requirement analysis for the
customer locations. This sensor information will be used to produce Situational Awareness reports to the Customer.
Documentation. The individual shall implement procedures to provide security statistics to analyze/report trends and
vulnerabilities and shall author trip reports; to include lessons learned summarizing the outcome of all Cyber working
groups/meetings. The individual shall also coordinate any required Cyber documentation support for obtaining approval
to get new systems installed.
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience w/ information systems security in the following specialties: network or systems
management, network monitoring, system security monitoring, IDS, log analysis, web and database application analysis.
Have practical experience using network management tools. Have knowledge of penetration testing and penetration
tools, OS and application vulnerability assessment, system vulnerability research and exploitation.

• Monitor database performance, identify performance problems and make adjustments to database parameters.
• Monitor logs for errors, research solutions and work with Oracle Support to resolve if needed.
• Create, schedule, and monitor RMAN backups.
• Restore and recover databases.
• Participate in a DBA On-Call rotation.
Experience Profile:
• AS degree, or higher, in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science or Engineering, or similar.
• 2-4 years IT infrastructure support with recent emphasis in Oracle DBA tasks.
• 1-2+ years working as an Oracle DBA contributing to support of mission critical databases.
• Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux; UNIX shell scripting skills to support databases.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Stable record of direct employment.
Preferred/Helpful:
• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science or Engineering, or similar.
• Experience in a complex, high transaction, production database environment.
• Oracle Database Administration Certification (OCA or OCP).
• Production experience with Oracle 11g Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Advanced UNIX shell scripting skills (KSH, Bash, perl, etc).
• Oracle Automated Storage Management (ASM).
• Experience supporting 24×7 production systems .
• Oracle HR, Oracle Finance, Oracle Mobile Applications.
• Experience installing, patching, upgrading and maintain Oracle database and enterprise management software.
• Backup and Recovery using RMAN, Data Pump, flashback technologies etc.
• Experience using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Hands on experience with DataGuard.
• Oracle performance tuning skills.
• ITIL principles.
