Position Purpose:
The Safeway Information Risk Management and Security group has a need for a Technical Project / Program Manager. This role will primarily be responsible for projects that support the needs of IT Risk Management, Information Security and Cyber Services projects across the company. The Information Risk management and Security team reports to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and is entrusted with managing risks, and protecting information. The AV System Administrator is responsible for servicing all AV related issues across the AFRICOM campus. The duties will require installing and replacing defective equipment and cabling. The AV System Administrator will work trouble tickets through the AFRICOM ticketing system and will be required to provide status updates on all open tickets.
The daily duties will also require the AV System Administrator to schedule and complete various systems checks as outlined in the weekly, monthly and quarterly PMI’s. The Administrator will act as the interface with the 52nd signal command to resolve any issues that are occurring with the VTC equipment connect to the various AV systems. The AV administrator must have good customer service skills because they will be required to work on VIP systems and suites as well as provide additional support as part of a rotating schedule to service VIP systems after hours.
The AV System Administrator manages is responsible for maintain all AV related equipment for the various conference rooms and standalone offices located across the AFRICOM campus. Develops and performs a preventative maintenance schedule of AV systems as recommended by equipment manufacturers. Replace malfunctioning hardware and have the ability to assist AV programmer with loading controller code as well as troubleshooting the code. Perform firmware upgrades, provide life cycle plan and critical spares list for each conference room. Perform daily functionality test on VIP systems.
Also, track all equipment warranties for the AV support spaces and advise senior leadership on equipment that is end of life or no longer under warranty. Provide engineering support by assisting with initial site surveys and requirements gathering.

Tactical Communications Mentor will assist in the following ways: directly TAAM the instructors on all duties and responsibilities for HF, VHF, and UHF (Sat Com) radio training and education at SPTW.

Applicants must be in possession of a current/active US tourist Passport (with further eligibility to receive – if not already in possession of – a current Afghanistan visa). If candidate is already deployed, he/she must supply appropriate documentation satisfying these requirements along with confirmation that he/she is in physical possession of government-issued PPE to demonstrate compliance with CENTCOM deployment requirements.

Conducts briefings to key leaders and coordinates activities between various governmental agencies while maintaining a strong relationship with the TAAC HQs. Job Description:
Designs and plans network communications systems. Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture. Education:
· Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in systems management, engineering, mathematics or scientific related field or in business administration.

General Experience:

The Associate Project Manager (Area Manager) reports to the Regional Technical Manager and will serve in a geographic area of the United States to manage the service delivery efforts of a large IT Service Delivery team that provides break-fix and operational and maintenance support to the end-users within the assigned area. and/or with small teams of communicators in unique environments.
