In this position, you will provide a full suite of administrative support services in the organization and conduct oftraining courses for Region 10 disaster reservists.

• Assists in data gathering, conversion and analysis of GIS data. Drafts GIS data documentation and metadata for GIS projects. Assists in the preparation of maps and exhibits with GIS data sets. Maintains knowledge of technological developments in the GIS field and use of GIS software.
• Works with senior staff to support states and communities for GIS data development from FEMA programs. This includes administrative and technical aspects including acceptance of grant applications, approval of reimbursement requests, review of quarterly reports, assistance with technical resources and training, coordination and support with solving GIS or loss modeling technical problems, review and acceptance of final products.

L-3, STRATIS is currently looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to provide IT Service Management, administrative and support to the US Forces Korea/Korea Command.

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job description:

- Operate, supervise, and manage the daily operation, security, and performance of information systems, including (but not limited to) networks, communication systems, databases, web servers, firewalls, and other technologies that require ongoing management.
- Apply security and update patches and other preventive maintenance activities, monitor system performance, perform system performance tuning and trouble-shooting, perform system capacity analysis and planning, monitor event and security logs.
- Being responsible for ensuring system integrity through regular back-ups, fail-safe, and recovery operations based on standard operating procedures,
- Verifying that systems are in compliance with applicable IT security policies, procedures and guidelines, allocating and manage user accounts and privileges,
- Operating call logs and/or customer support functions.

Requirements:

- Secret government clearance.
- 4 year college degree or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of applicable IT experience involving networks, communications, database management, operating systems, or specialized applications
- Senior System Administrators will demonstrate responsibility for successfully executing system operation tasks independently with nor required technical supervision.

Job description:

- Be responsible for the administration, maintenance and management of capacity resources for computers at the operating system and infrastructure level.
- Build, configure, troubleshoot and integrate new and existing servers to provide service enhancements, application deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
- Recommend software and hardware enhancements, diagnose and correct issues, define and implement new services with the goal of achieving maximum server uptime and availability for the customer.
- Responsible for monitoring performance and system usage.
- Conduct system analysis and support development to keep systems current with changing technologies.

Requirements:

- Secret government clearance.
- 4 year college degree or equivalent IT experience.
- 2-6 years related technical experience maintaining the operation of computer systems (to include operating systems, software and hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations, maintaining system integrity, and upgrading systems and/or servers.
- 2-6 years experience creating and documenting new methods supporting network/system operations and implementing changes to procedures.
- 2-6 years experience consulting with support teams, help desks, customers and other technical staff in the resolution of problems, coordinating and performing operation and/or maintenance activities for networks/servers, identifying recurring problems and recommending steps to reduce the severity or frequency of problems.
- 2-6 years experience supporting, implementing and/or administering networks such as Microsoft Windows Active Directory.
- 2-6 years experience developing and documenting system standards for computer and network devices.
- 2-6 years experience upgrading, installing and troubleshooting networks, networking hardware devices and software.
- Must have strong analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate orally and written in a professional manner.
- Should have one or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP); Sun Certified Java Associate (SCJA); SUN Certified Java Programmer (SCJP); Cisco Certified Entry Network Technician (CCENT); CompTIA Security+ Certification; Network+; Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT); Oracle Certified Associate.
