Job Description:
CACI is seeking full-time Case
Reviewers for our Intelligence Community background investigation contracts.
Case Managers work with investigators to complete and submit background
investigation reports which determine the suitability of current and
prospective Federal employees, contractors, and military personnel for security
clearances. The investigations support critical national security efforts of
the United States Intelligence Community.
Position Summary:
The Case Reviewer supervises the
full lifecycle of a background investigation case, from case receipt to final
delivery to the customer. The Case Reviewer acts as the primary point of
contact and subject matter expert for field staff during the process of the
investigation while simultaneously scrutinizing reports of investigation
submitted by Field Investigators to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely
submission of cases to our customers. This is a fully remote position, however,
there may be local travel to fulfill job duties.
Responsibilities:
Manage case flow and conduct
thorough reviews of background investigations, including reports of
investigation, to ensure investigations are complete and adhere to contract and
CACI requirements.
Manage daily workload and task
list, prioritizing based on customer, business needs, and team needs;
participate in all mandatory meetings.
Provide guidance on investigation
requirements to Field Investigators
Maintain quality and production
that meets contract requirements and CACI performance expectations
Identify error trends and
communicate to Field Investigators and Management to improve contract
performance
Work closely with case review team
members and management to develop training and guidance to improve background
investigations
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have at least 12
months’ experience conducting/processing background investigations on behalf of
the Federal Government. Experience with the Raspberry Beret or Excalibur
contracts within the last 12 months and a working knowledge of the Federal
Investigative Standards is required.
Experience as a case reviewer preferred.
Highly detail-oriented, excellent
time management, organizational, communication and administrative skills with
the ability to prioritize and/or reprioritize daily tasks based on the needs of
the customer, business, and/or your team; and remain flexible and receptive to
changes resulting from customer or business needs.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
work-related experience
U.S. Citizenship (a requirement

Act as a
consultant and provide feedback to the government to optimize the SATCOM
networks.
Identify and
evaluate the operational impact of all outages.
Report
Communication status to higher headquarters as needed.
Coordinate with
external agencies for outage resolution.
Perform
notifications when outages occur IAW local policy, notification matrix, and any
other SOPs, policy, and instructions.
Prepare and
deliver daily communication status report as required.
Publish daily
communication status received from all sites.
Coordinate the
Authorized Service Interruption (ASI) process.
Review ASIs for
accuracy as well as validate operational impact.
Submit ASIs IAW
higher headquarter guidelines.
Analyze,

As an

Maintain a
level of technical competence and awareness in the areas of communication
systems integration, and be able to applying theories, concepts and principles
in these areas. This includes a basic understanding of AC and DC power systems,
grounding, bonding and shielding and an understanding of electronics as it
relates to various communications systems such as RF radio communication,
network connectivity, etc.
Perform duties
as the Electrical Engineer or experienced Electrical Technician in the
electrical design and integration of prototype systems. Collect and manage
requirements from project leads and perform hands-on electrical work as well as
technical oversight for mission execution.
Maintain a
level of technical competence and awareness in the areas of communication
systems integration, and be able to applying theories, concepts and principles
in these areas. This includes a basic understanding of AC and DC power systems,
grounding, bonding and shielding and an understanding of electronics as it
relates to various communications systems such as RF radio communication,
network connectivity, etc.
Provide a level
of technical expertise in the design, development, and integration of customer
equipment on a variety of tactical platforms (vehicles, aircraft, towers,
etc.).
Create and
design hardware components and/or prototypes, to include drawings/sketches of
cables, power and signal entrance panels, power distribution units, system
diagrams and installation kit designs.
Possess the
technical expertise to specify the appropriate connectors, cables, wiring to
meet the design criteria. The engineer must be familiar with electrical safety
and design with this in mind.
Ensures the
successful execution of all projects in accordance with mission and customer
requirements. Develop and perform test plans for verification and validation of
developed systems.
You’ll Bring
These Qualifications:
Must have an Active
Secret Security Clearance.
Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering preferred or an experienced Electrical
Technician with a minimum of 5 Years of supporting the integration,
installation, operations, and maintenance of programs and fielded systems.
Experience
supporting engineering plans and projects to establish operating data and
conduct experimental tests on prototype designs and systems.
Experience in
the different phases of design, integration, and test in order to prototype
complex experimental systems in accordance with customer requirements.
Ability to
learn new tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to effectively
complete projects in a timely manner. The desired candidate will also possess
strong oral and written communication skills, strong problem-solving skills,
and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Understanding
and ability to use electrical software in order to create electrical
schematics, wiring diagrams, etc.
Ability to be creative and acquire the understanding and knowledge to
champion new electrical software tools and test equipment.
Ability to be
challenged with the creative nature to improvise new concepts, new design
visions and willingness to learn and self-motivate.
50% - 75% of
the time will be hands-on in a prototyping shop environment. Knowledge of wiring, connectors, soldering,
wire-harnesses, and electrical test equipment is a must.
Willingness to
travel to fielding locations to be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on area of
responsibility on design. Ability to
work alone in order to maintain and troubleshoot electrical designs in the
field environment. Ability to be creative
as required in the field to maintain design in field environment.
These

Ability to
troubleshoot and provide recommendations on upgrades of software and hardware
of installed military Radio Frequency systems and communications equipment.
