The successful candidate will have at least 8+ years’ experience in store management and multi-unit hardline retail management. The District Manager will have a large geographical area including anywhere from 4-8 stores. Responsibility of leadership and direction to our Store Managers and Assistant Managers will be a daily requirement. You will be able to control shrink and operational imparities within the district. Training of management in customer service, merchandizing, driving sales, and increasing the bottom line profit will be some of the job requirements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and follow through are imperative for this position.

We have an exciting opportunity for a GCS (Ground Control Station) Project Engineer in our Project Engineering group.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform system level design of the Ground Control Stations (GCS) for GA-ASI UAV system.
• Develop new designs or modifications of existing systems as required to meet project goals. Assignments are normally outlined in terms of overall objectives and anticipated results.
• Review Statements of work (SOW) and define Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) project tasks and responsibilities.
• Work with other GCS team members to define system design requirements.
• Work with other groups such as Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Program Management personnel to facilitate task completion.
• Oversee sustaining engineering tasks and work closely with manufacturing on the integration of new and existing GCS assemblies and sub- assemblies.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair systems in assigned area by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles.
• Work with CAD Designer and other engineering support organizations, produce documentation such as engineering drawings (interconnects, cables), source control drawings, system specifications, and test procedures.
• Provide documentation and makes technical presentations, such as PDR, CDR as required.
• Provides direction to design or technical staff and may lead a team of experienced professional staff.
• Interact with the customer to review or define project requirements.
Job Qualifications:
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree, master's degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; six or more years of experience with a bachelor's degree, four or more years of experience with a master's degree, or two or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.
• Must have a thorough understanding of engineering concepts, principles, codes, and theory; experience demonstrating a broad application of those concepts; and, expanding knowledge of principles, concepts, theory, and practices in related technical specialties. Must possess the ability to develop and communicate new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems.
• Must have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team; able to perform complex tasks in one or more engineering areas; capable of representing the organization as a prime technical contact and, lead a team of moderately experienced professional employees on single component projects.

Position Purpose:

Work with M3B7 staff to identify relevant points of contact within M3B7 and in other BUMED codes, conduct research and analysis as needed to define the issues, develop the background and recommend various courses of action to resolve issues, answer the questions and improve the programs.
•Assist M3B7 in conducting recurring EM and FHP program reviews, meetings, conferences and working groups. Work with the staff of M3B7 to solicit and recommend agenda items, develop a draft schedule, reserve conference rooms, coordinate the attendance of off-site staff and disseminate read-aheads. Review conference/meeting minutes for completeness, edit for content and readability as needed and provide to M3B7.
•Lead the preparation, review and dissemination of the quarterly Emergency Preparedness newsletter, ensuring that it meets the delivery schedule. Solicit recommended articles, graphics and topics of interest related to the Navy Medicine EM/FHP/PH programs from the M3B7 staff and interested SMEs across the enterprise/outside of BUMED. Build the draft newsletter, reviewing and editing submitted articles and content, working with contributors to improve their submissions, disseminating the draft newsletter to M3B7for feedback, incorporating recommended edits and promulgating the final, approved newsletter to a designated distribution list.
•Assist M3B7 in coordinating video teleconferences (VTCs), conference calls, working groups, and advisory board meetings.

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE:

Specifics
• Maintain the smooth and timely flow of plant production ensuring a quality product is delivered to the next operation and customer.
• Achieve the business goals of the operation including cost, quality safety, and delivery.
• Coach, develop, and support hourly associates. Hold associates accountable for attainment of objectives.
• Drive Business Center strategies to the floor level.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required; BS in any Engineering discipline preferred
• 1-3 years’ experience in production manufacturing process and equipment.
• Prior work with training/organizational development or in another function desired.
• Knowledge of Production/Maintenance team structure, operations and requirements.
• Knowledge of basic HR/training functions.
• Familiarization with budget development/management.
• Demonstrated excellence in establishing/maintaining communications and interpersonal relationships.

• Develop, maintain and provide continuous improvement in his/her team.
• Lead adherence of all procedures, audits, practices, and standard work within the operation.
