Please note: this is A LONG-TERM CAREER type company. They do not focus on
short-term contracts. You will be hired as a permanent employee of the
company. This means that you can stay as long as YOU want as long as you
continue to perform. You will not get the "contract is over, go home" news
that allot of other overseas firms do.
Requirements:
* Must have solid Foodservice (cooking, managing cooks, ordering food)

* Must be okay with living in very harsh environments (30 people in a

$8700 ANNUAL BONUS)
2. Assistant Customer Service Manager: $5500 per month ($66,000 per year
PLUS$ 12000 ANNUAL BONUS )
3. Chef Managers: 2920 Euro's per month which currently equals $4116.85
per month or $49,402 per year (There is a special additional monthly uplift
of $300 per month for tent dwellers) so projected annual income (before
below bonus) is $53,002 PLUS $8463.22 ANNUAL BONUS.
Special Note on Bonuses: This is a target amount and is uncapped (thus it
can go HIGHER than the above amount.) It is based on the company's
performance and that performance has been exceptional in the past.
Tax Benefits:
Because this is a Swiss based company they take out no taxes on your income.
This can result in significant savings for you since your gross pay will be
your take home pay. If your pay from this company ends up being $70,000 a
year and that is not taxed then you would be making the equivalent take home
pay that someone working in the United States US might make who has a gross
income (before taxes) of $100,000.
Here are general "Unofficial" guidelines on how the tax-free situation
works: (Please do not consider Lucas Group as your tax-adviser on this.
Please consult your tax-advisor since these rules change frequently) You
will need to report your income to the IRS. IRS rules allow for the first
$91,500 in income (amount changes often) to be tax-free as long as the
person spends no more than 30 days in the United States or its territories
in a calendar year. If you start in the middle of the year then you can
still enjoy tax-free status since your income will be pro-rated. Example:
If you start on June 1st and thus work for 6 months abroad your first year
then you would be allowed 15 days (50% of amount for 12 month period) to
spend in the US between June and December 31st and still be able to claim
tax-free status on that June to December income with the IRS.
Additional Benefits:
A.) 63 days vacation a year (In three "21 day" increments). Most people
will come home for the first R&R and then, to avoid crossing the 30 day
tax-free mark, will fly their spouses to Paris or Australia or Canada or
Mexico, etc. for the next two trips. If you start 30 days after the new
year, don't worry your tax status is "pro-rated" to fit this issue
B.) THREE "company paid" round-trip flights home a year (or an equivalent
distance/cost if you want to go to Australia or Paris, etc for vacation)
C.) All housing, meals and laundry provided free by the company.
D.) World-wide Medical Insurance provided free of charge for the employee
only. Please NOTE: The family is not covered. Even if the employee wanted
to pay extra to cover the family it will not be an option. This is a Swiss
based company and they have not access to US Health Care plans.

I was wondering if you would use your extensive network to spread the
word about some Security Officer vacancies here at Peace Corps?
These are federal positions in the 0080 series on the Foreign Service
pay scale, equivalent to the GS-12 level. Promotion to GS-13 equivalent
would be after 1 year and satisfactory completion of all required
training. The positions are based overseas and the actual locations
have yet to be determined, although we anticipate vacancies in South
America, Central America, West Africa and possibly Central Asia. The
announcement indicates "term limited appointment" which is a bit
misleading. The positions serve on 30-month tours which can be extended
indefinitely.

Air Force to hire civilians to manage unit programs
7/21/2009 - RANDOLPH AIR FORCE BASE, Texas (AFNS) -- Squadrons with more
than 50 military and civilian members could start seeing relief in managing
their additional duties as early as this fall, with a 1,200 newly created
civilian unit program coordinator positions.
Feedback from the 2008 Airman's Time Assessment revealed Airmen were being
pulled away from their primary duty stations to work full time on unit
programs such as the Government Travel Card program, safety program,
automated data processing equipment accounts and security programs.
"We found that when the commander's support staffs drew down, commanders
were left with two options. They could either manage these tactical
administrative programs themselves or pull Airmen from the frontlines to do
it," said Maj. Christopher Busque of Force Support Officer Career Field
Management in the Pentagon. "We were concerned that the resulting effect was
causing a loss of mission capability."
By hiring 1,200 civilian UPCs, Air Force officials will effectively put
Airmen back into their primary duties, preserving Airmen's time and
maximizing administrative efficiency across the Air Force, Major Busque
said.
Announcements of the GS-06, GS-07 and YB-1 job vacancies are projected to
hit USAJobs and the Air Force's secure employment site this month, with new
hires reporting to work as early as October.
Ideal candidates for the positions should:
- Possess strong administrative or personnel background
- Ability to manage and organize multiple tasks
- Be customer oriented
- Understand personnel tracking.
"These incoming civilian Airmen are going to be great assets to the
squadrons because not only will they help keep our talented, healthy,
motivated and well-equipped Airmen working on the primary mission, the unit
program coordinators will have the most current knowledge on evolving
programs and will provide continuity in a very fluid environment," said
Paula Blackwell from the Directorate for Civilian Force Integration at the
Air Force Personnel Center here.
Ms. Blackwell cautioned that UPCs should not be confused with administrative
assistants. The primary purpose of the UPC is to manage unit programs and
serve as unit liaisons to the military and civilian personnel offices.
Commanders looking to hire for these positions should contact their force
support squadron/mission support squadron commander. Individuals interested
in applying should search USAJobs or the Air Force's secure employment site
for "Unit Program Coordinator, GS-0303, YB-0303" for specific locations.
More information on civilian employment, visit AFPC's public Web site and
click on the "Life and Careers" menu.
