The post is accountable for enabling the business and ensuring all security factors are properly communicated and used by leadership when making operational and strategic decisions across Iraq. This includes developing appropriate and influential relationships with the Product Line, Country management teams, and facilities site security personnel in the area. The post holder is responsible for maintaining security programs and ensuring consistency and operational effectiveness of the security teams throughout the area of operation.

Responsibilities

The principal role of the Security Manager is to advise businesses on the management of security in line with the wider Corporate Security Guidelines and Policy and to assist them in their regular assessment and effective management of security exposures. The role covers the following areas:

• Member of a unique professional team responsible for the integration of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) assets.
• Maintains close coordination with the CENTCOM Liaison Officer (LNO) and USFOR-A J2/ J6 staff to oversee ISR Task Force initiatives and ensure they are fully integrated with current theater architecture.
• Coordinates and works with various deployed multi-service units to ensure all ISR requirements are met.
• Responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IP based video broadcast for various FMV and UAV projects.

Qualifications: The position requires a minimum of ten years of progressively responsible operations, planning and policy of which a minimum of five years with or supporting a United States Government (USG) foreign affairs agency, international assistance organization, or Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the field of community development, economic development, or civil society activities, focused on Africa, and at least five years of working in Africa. Specialized experience will be experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position successfully. Experience as an advisor or exchange officer is highly preferred. Advisor must have exceptional knowledge of defense policy and planning. Synopsis: The overall goal of the Joint Training Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (JTCOIC) is to provide expertise and training to units deploying to theater on efficient and effective utilization of the Joint IED Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) Counter-IED Operations Integration Center (COIC). The JTCOIC is responsible for coordinating the training of deploying units on joint, national and interagency intelligence, C-IED and emerging asymmetric capabilities gleaned from the JIEDDO COIC; integrating processes, practices, concepts and materiel capabilities into Joint and Service DOTMLPF solutions; and coordinating with the training centers to provide realistic enemy and environmental signatures into models and simulations in support of realistic intelligence collection and analysis.

Duties: Oversee projects in the capability integration program for a multi-mission organization. Responsible for integration of concepts, doctrine and/or materiel solutions that are brought to the center for evaluation or to address new and innovative processes for training. Assess the impact of new capabilities on the organization, to include manpower and facilities. Develop plans to incorporate new capabilities, to include funding, manning, and facilities. Explain designs, organizations, personnel and equipment strength. Lead integrated process teams stood up to address new capabilities. Background Requirements:
-Former military with proven experience in senior leadership positions in military intelligence or a combat-related specialty.

39. Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) (OCONUS)

Job Description:

• Possess experience at tactical formations - Brigade and up. Multiple combat, combat support and combat service support disciplines may be required or equivalent academic or defense industry functional areas.

• Identify counter-IED capability gaps and provide recommendations on potential solutions.

• Integrate emerging counter-IED technologies into current tactics, techniques and procedures and disseminate new TTPs as required.

• Interface with Combatant Commands, joint organizations, and OGAs on actions related to Joint IED Defeat initiatives.

• Assist in identification, training, and integration of IED Defeat countermeasure technologies.

• Provide updates as required to JIEDDO OPS to ensure relevance of the JIEDDO strategy and the joint counter-IED Common Operating Picture.

• Provide support for the execution of JIEDDO strategic actions supporting the integration of multiple Joint IED Defeat solutions throughout DoD.

• Provide Operations Records Management capabilities.

• Assist in the analysis of COCOM Requests for Forces and approved deployment orders with respect to COCOM counter-IED support requirements using available Service automation systems.

• Assist in the development of counter-IED support policy and agreements with foreign partner nations in coordination with the appropriate DoD and State Department processes.



Qualifications:

• Be deployable to the required theater of operations.

• Wear uniforms as prescribed by the supported unit commander.

• Bear arms as prescribed by the supported unit commander.

• Bachelor of Science or Arts degree from an accredited college or university (desired)

• At least ten years experience in increasingly responsible positions in one or more military, academic or defense industry functional areas

• Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance

Duties and Responsibilities:
Deploys, sustains, troubleshoots, and repairs standard voice, data, and video network infrastructure systems, IP detection systems and cryptographic equipment.

• Train, advise, and coach the MoD Public Affairs in developing and publishing a CM1-level annual media relations plan, developing effective relationships with Afghan and international media, gaining and facilitating embedded journalists, writing and releasing news releases with command messages, conduct press conferences / media engagements, and respond to media queries.

Mentor Qualifications:
- Former Officer O4-O6 or Command Sergeant Major with Battalion or Brigade Staff experience as either CSM, XO, S3 or other primary staff responsible for training and doctrine development or maintenance support operations.
- At least 15 years direct experience in functional area.
- Recent operational experience in Afghanistan or Iraq training international forces is highly desired.
