Perform the following activities in support of Design for the Army’s Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) program:
- Apply physiological and psychological principles of human behavior, perception, and cognition to the design and development of Ground Combat Systems.
- Work with functional architects to develop Concept of Operations and Operating Logic for Human (User) /Computer Interface; perform Human Factors mission, function, and task analysis

Applies human performance principles, methodologies, and technologies to the design of human-machine systems and products. Develops and implements research methodologies and statistical analysis plans to test and evaluate developmental prototypes used in new products and processes, such as vehicle crew station/area designs, user workstations, and computerized human models. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Specialized Experience Requirements: Applicants must meet the following:
Specialized experience is experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled.
To qualify for GS-13 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience that reflects a broad understanding of the interrelationship and integration among principle logistics functions of supply chain integration, maintenance, storage, disposal, equipment management, and transportation; specialized knowledge required of maintenance, equipment management, operations requirements and objectives an related to the entire equipment life cycle including requirement, authorization, acquisition, delivery, funding, transport, storage, redistribution, and disposal.

• Performs maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems
• Performs routine building inspections, maintenance and repairs
• Performs work in accordance with weekly work schedules and pertinent technical guidance

• Performs assigned recurring work IAW the projects Preventive Maintenance Program.
• Assists Chief Engineer in developing repair and replacement projects
• Performs facility assessments and generates thorough reports for Chief Engineer or Project Manager
• May be tasked to work beyond normal duty hours or holidays and weekends and standby
• May be tasked to perform as a Quality Control Inspector for work being performed by others

QUALIFICATIONS (what is required to perform the job, i.e. education, experience,

• Five (5) years experience working with HVAC and electrical equipment and systems
• Working knowledge of power production and plumbing systems highly desired
• In-depth knowledge of chillers, pumps, motors and fans operation
• Must be able to interpret basic mechanical and electrical blueprints to facilitate troubleshooting
• Must be familiar with basic carpentry and door locks
• Must be adept in working with hand and power tools
• Working knowledge and basic computer skills—able to use Microsoft Office Products
• Must be able to perform basic Quality Control procedures

Position Summary Overview:
Responsible for developing upgraded hardware and associated interfaces for the AN/FPS-123/132, Solid State Phased Array Radar Systems. Designs and configures networks for Radar systems.
