7. We are seeking Robotics Technicians for both CONUS and OCONUS projects. Each individual technician must be familiar with (i) all aspects of operation and maintenance of the robotic platforms under his/her area of responsibility and (ii) the supply interfaces into the warehouse database COLTS (Catalog Ordering and Logistics Tracking System). Individual technicians work to ensure all robotic systems are fully operational and maintained to meet operational needs of U.S. military forces. Technicians will maintain records of all maintenance and supply actions utilizing the COLTS system and will maintain accountability of all support equipment that is used. Place of duty includes CONUS and OCONUS locations to include Afghanistan and Iraq.
The qualified candidate will provide technical and operational support on Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Man Transportable Robot Systems (MTRS). The candidate will perform all troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance on the FasTac, MARCbot, Talon, Mini EOD, and other robotic platforms. The candidate will be required to travel as needed to perform maintenance at field locations.

Responsibilities:
Robotic Technicians must be knowledgeable in the electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic operation, maintenance, and repair actions of militarized robotic platforms, including but not limited to FasTac, MARCbot, TALON, Mini EOD, and other robotic platforms.

The qualified candidate will possess a minimum of six (6) years knowledge in operational checkout, operations, maintenance and repair of robotics systems listed above. Candidate must prove to have operational robotics background with experience using and maintaining robots under operational/field conditions, such as EOD.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level Security Clearance, as needed. If prior military, applicant must have a copy of DD Form 214 with an Honorable Discharge.

Job Summary
Work as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, maintain existing track and right-of-way.

Primary Activities and Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with all railroad rules and regulations for safety, operations and the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
• Participate in group discussions including unit meetings, job briefings, safety meetings or process reviews
• Remove and replace track and track components (e.g. ties, rails, bars, etc.)
• Replace or repair track switches with specific components
• Slide and align tie plates
• Drill holes through rails for insertion of bolts and tighten or loosen bolts at joints that hold ends or rails together
• Correct deviations in track surface, alignment and gauge
• Cut rails to specific lengths
• Receive instructions, requests, orders, and information from posted bulletins, memorandums, rules and regulation manuals
• Adjust, lift and roll rails
• Sort track material for loading and unloading
• Install and repair street and railroad crossings
• Cut brush and vegetation from the right-of-way
• Spray switches, angle bars and joints with oil for lubrication

Basic Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of experience that demonstrates knowledge and skill in applying the principles, methods and techniques of creative design, display, interior design, advertising and promotion, in the field of visual merchandising in a multi retail store environment, OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above, OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Understanding of MCCS objectives and regulations applicable to the operation. Experience in new store design a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for developing and implementing programs designed to coordinate and maximize the MRX Visual Merchandising Program system-wide. Ensures the development of procedures and methods to improve sales and services by administering in-store merchandising, promotion, visual display and signing direction. Oversees development and coordination for implementation of special and seasonal sales promotional events system-wide. Reviews proposed plans for new and/or renovated Exchange facilities to assure maximum use of store space and future concepts.

Coordinates programs with cognizant MRX divisions in the planning, directing and implementing of store layout and Visual Merchandising Programs towards maximum responsiveness to the MRX mission. Provides, formulates and monitors plans, policies, programs and procedures for merchandise layout, management and development of merchandise presentation, display and selling aids, product and customer information, and sales promotion coordination in support of MRX Exchanges. Responsible for store planning programs consisting of layout, décor and fixtures. Analyzes and evaluates results and cost effectiveness. Identifies problem areas and assures effectiveness of the store planning program.

Provides technical advice on all related store planning/visual merchandising matters to the operations and facilities councils. Conducts training through workshops, functional training classes, visual merchandising seminars and field visits. Assures adequate guidance is provided through instructions, notices, visual merchandising supplements, various publications and advisory visits conducted by subordinate specialists. May work a fluctuating work schedule to complete work assignments outside of the typical work week and work hours. May travel to complete work assignments.

Analyzes and evaluates findings resulting from consumer research studies, and ensures integration of same into the overall store planning program. Identifies problem areas and assures effectiveness of programs.

Assures maximum and full utilization of facilities, equipment and personnel through management evaluation judgment and action. Develops, arranges and applies physical resources and personnel to accomplish objectives. Formulates, establishes, and evaluates policies and procedures relating to the visual merchandising program. Advises on fixturization, physical layout of facilities, modernization and renovation of facilities. Submits report and proposals to supervisor for justification.

Directs the corporate Visual Merchandising Program: ordering and storage of supplies and equipment; and maintenance of equipment. Recommends corrective action for achievement of established goals and objectives. Provides visual merchandising technical input pertaining to areas of responsibility. Maintains liaison with field personnel and schedules advisory visits to check various elements of MRX Exchanges. Monitors activities’ compliance with MRX policies and procedures.

Supervises employees to include: assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, tutoring, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, completing performance reviews and signing timecards, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment. Must be alert to alcohol abuse, and take appropriate action.

Participates in meetings and conferences involving matters pertaining to the Visual Merchandising Program. Contributes technical expertise and knowledge in the area of visual merchandising during these sessions. Makes recommendations leading to the establishment of policies and procedures. Additionally, advises and provides technical support to appropriated funded functions, as required.

Travels to complete work assignments, and conduct or attend conferences and meetings. Attends seminars and commercial shows. Develops, reviews and revises publications, technical directives and issuance relating to new/improved methods, equipment, supplies and other similar items for possible application at MRX Exchanges system-wide.
