TITLE: Director of Utilization Management
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for conducting and arranging clinical care reviews for clients in all of the fee for services programs. The person in this position obtains funding authorizations from the client’s insurance provider, discussing with clients and their families other potential funding options, including self-pay, Medicaid, and jurisdictions. The person will also aid the primary Counselor in discharge planning for the Insurance/self-pay clients. The person in this position operates under the Supervision of the Clinical Director and the Regional Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct concurrent clinical reviews with 3rd party payers as required to increase a client’s length of stay
Advocate for necessary treatment stays for our clients with insurance case manager
Gather progress information in order to conduct reviews with Primary counselors, nurse, doctors and residential staff
Team with staff to increase LOS for clients thus improving chances of ongoing sobriety
Assist clients and/or their families or referral sources in identifying, verifying, and arranging alternative funding once insurance is exhausted
Establish thorough understanding of the various funding alternatives available to clients and how these are accessed
Refer clients to appropriate agencies that could help with funding, including CSBs, church, CSA etc.
Assist clients in understanding insurance benefits or funding information from insurance companies, state funding sources, or other sources
Document all funding information obtained and provides all billing information needed to Fiscal Department
Assist primary counselors with discharge planning
Identify discharge placement that are acceptable for on-going care for insurance clients
Provide discharge options to clinical team, clients and their families to aid in discharge planning
Assist clients in maximizing their resources in order to get the optimum treatment experience
Maintain ethical standards and continued professional growth, including:
Abide by Program and Client policy and procedures.
Ensure all CARF standards are instituted and maintained.
Promote, in public and private contacts, the quality standards and ethical practices of Client staff.
Continue professional growth by attending workshops, trainings and staff in-service trainings to increase skill and knowledge and to set appropriate example for staff
Maintain professional boundaries with staff and clients
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia or Compact
Five (5) years of experience in a substance abuse or mental health treatment setting or marketing setting or in a closely related field
Three to five years’ experience in directing utilization management and discharge planning
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledgeable of the medical aspects of addiction, including dual diagnosis, and must have excellent assessment skills
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting rigid deadlines
Exceptional analytical skills
Exceptional Customer Service skills
Exceptional organization skills
Skill in implementing nursing protocol
Skill in patient assessment
Ability to carry out instruction and accurately document medical information.
Ability to apply organizational management skills and maintain self and resident discipline

5. Radiation Detection Instructors - Charleston, SC
Linxx Global Solutions, a fast growing Government contracting company, with corporate offices located in Virginia Beach, VA, is currently looking for highly qualified instructors knowledgeable in Coast Guard-specific Level I and II Radiation Detection and Hazardous Situations scenarios to fill positions in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities
• Provide instruction of the Radiation Detection II Operator Course. Course shall be divided between classroom instruction, equip0ment practical exercises, and team-based practical scenarios onboard a Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) training vessel.
• Instruct students to utilize Coast Guard (CG) boarding and inspections (ashore and afloat) as a means to detect and intercept illicit radioactive materials before they enter the United States.
• Provide instruction on equipment including the Polimaster Personal Radiation Detector (PRD), Sensor Technology Engineering RADPACK, ICX/Target Identifinder-U, and HPRDS Communication Package (HCP).
• Prepare students, upon completion of the course to be qualified to instruct other CG personnel in conducting Level I Radiation Detection operations.
Candidate Qualifications
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must meet one of the following experience requirements:
o Must possess a minimum of 5 years experience as a military, law enforcement, of government public health CBRN-D Subject Matter Expert
o Must have 5 years experience in an equivalent Military Occupational Specialty (MOS)
o Must have equivalent experience in the private sector with a B.S. and 7 years of documented experience either instructing or developing instruction for CBRN-D training. CBRN-D training experience aboard a variety of military floating and shore units is preferable.
• A minimum 2 years experience as a primary classroom instructor providing training, preferably with a Certified Technical Trainer (CTT) certification or an equivalent Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) code.
• Ability to walk, stoop, and bend. Frequently lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
• Must be physically fit.

1. Be the WW leader for the global intelligence, forensic and digital community related to telemetry and Business Intelligence.
2. Develop the core strategy for Microsoft’s holistic Cybercrime telemetry and intelligence program and ensure execution of related projects and initiatives. This requires a deep understanding of Microsoft’s internal and external customer and partner needs, market dynamics, competitors, and product levers to enable maximum impact across defined business measures/KPIs for telemetry. Hone competitive insights to define and deliver meaningful offerings and solutions that will differentiate Microsoft’s cyber security capabilities in the eyes of its customers, partners, and competitors.
3. Using your deep understanding of Microsoft’s customer and partner needs, develop plans and recommendations that incorporate principles used within a standard product development lifecycle. Tightly collaborate with core internal and external partner groups to define, evangelize and ultimately execute on the overall telemetry roadmap, key offerings, capabilities and differentiators.
4. Support key anti-piracy and cloud security initiatives, ensuring that Corp HQ and the field are engaged and aligned where necessary. Communicate all key program news, updates to the Field and support the Cybercrime Center for on-demand needs (i.e. government elite visits, PR engagements, etc).
5. Participate in regular strategy planning, budgeting, and presentation of core business reviews/updates. Be actively involved in owning relevant content for all connection meetings, workshops, PR activities, department events, MYR and all other such reviews.
6. Be accountable for all related scorecard metrics for the Cybercrime Center. Oversee the development and execution of KPI frameworks that improve our understanding of the effectiveness of all forms of telemetry and BI utilization to ensure optimal technology-based return on investments.
Qualifications:
• MS preferred or BS (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related field or equivalent engineering experience

I am writing to you to request you post an OCONUS opportunity I have available on your next distro. I am looking for frmr. a 18 Echo Comm NCO. What I have right now is that it is going to be in in southern and eastern Afghanistan. They will be operating in 2 man teams while operating, maintain and troubleshooting the LGM (Light Guard Minotaur). This is a NBC and explosive detection system. They will be working in FOB’s in Afghan with conventional forces. They will convoy out to the site daily and set up the equipment. They will have a 3 week course which starts JUN 1 which will take place in Pittsburgh or Charlotte (hasn’t been decided yet) then 1 week at Camp Atterbury and once that is completed they will be deployed. The contract is 1 yearlong so there are some tax benefits with this one. The pay rate for the CONUS training for 3 weeks will be $28.00 an hr. and 40 hr. work weeks. So if they work 35 hrs. a week they will be paid for 40. However if they work 50 hrs. a week they will be paid for 40. Once they are deployed they will receive. $47.60 and hr. with 84 hrs. a week. 23. Principal Network Engineer ( TS/SCI) (AFG)
L3 STRATIS has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Principal Network Engineer (PNE). This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization OCONUS in Afghanistan. This position is required to travel OCONUS for a minimum of one year. The PNE will be responsible for engineering, installing and troubleshooting data and telecommunications network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will require strong interpersonal skills due to continual interaction with managers, clients, and users with varying technical backgrounds in a fast paced work environment. The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users and will report directly to the Task Order Lead.
Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for leading a team of network engineers, network administrators and voice engineers in support of a geographically dispersed regional network. The PNE will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of all networks, consisting of primarily Cisco routers and switches, with support for other vendor (i.e. Juniper, Nortel, Siemens, etc.) products. This team will be responsible for maintaining all layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing. The PNE will be involved with the design of complex routing and switching schemes to support Control Cryptographic HAIPE devices. Additionally, the PNE will perform site surveys, configuration and engineering, installation planning and documentation services for the customer as they relate to network services. They will be responsible for analyzing network protocols, routing standards and procedures, traffic patterns and data flow, and providing equipment implementation and upgrade recommendations. As well as provide project support services for infrastructure, ADP systems, and Network/Server Support Facility enhancement.

In this position, you will serve as the organization's focal point for providing office management services for an organization with extensive responsibility for coordinating work outside of the organization. Typical work assignments include:
• Maintain the supervisor's calendar, scheduling appointments based on knowledge of supervisor's preferences and current commitments.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide classroom instruction across the entire range of combat and clinical medical disciplines, to include lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises, utilizing the current approved Programs of Instruction (POI) and lesson plans.

• Conduct exam reviews, proctor exams and provide developmental training for students who do not meet minimum course requirements.
• Review course materials to ensure currency with current doctrine, policies and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs).
• Work with and in cooperation with military and government civilian instructors to provide training in accordance with the existing Programs of Instruction (POIs).
• Contribute to instructional improvement process including POI review, related research, quality review, updating existing training and doctrine, development and implementation of evaluation tools, and development and implementation of practical exercises and scenarios.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Applicant shall have prior military experience, with a strong preference for SOF (any branch of service).
o Must have at least 1 year experience as an Army Special Forces Medic at a grade not less than Sergeant; or a Navy Independent Duty Corpsman; or a Special Operations Combat Medic; or as an instructor in a USSOCOM medical pipeline course.
• Shall possess three (3) years of experience as an Emergency Medical Instructor.
• Applicant must possess current credentials for: Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P); certified IAW NREMT or IAW a U.S. Jurisdiction or IAW USSOCOM Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) requirements.
