Client located in Fishers, Indiana has immediate openings for Operations Supervisors (Logistics) to lead its night sort operation and distribution facilities. The operations Supervisor will have responsibility to effectively manage, oversee and control all operational and associate activities within the warehouse including Receiving, Sorting, Processing, Shipping, Inventory Control and Quality Controls as well as ensuring on time delivery. The Supervisor will lead a team of 25 p/t hourly employees and will be responsible for ensuring the proper implementation and enforcement of policies, holding a high standard of safety and the continuous training of leads and associates in the warehouse. This position reports to the Smart Center Facility Manager.
Job Description
Responsible for the timely processing of all department activity including productivity, accuracy, and day end reports. Work closely with the Site Manager to control costs within the DC - labor, supplies, and inventory shrinkage. Responsible for accurate employee records including daily time clock monitoring, discipline notification and attendance reports. Manage the work flow to ensure the daily activities/demand related to the assigned department is met as expected. Manage, coach, train and counsel department employees. Conducts daily shift start-up meetings discussing the previous day's performance, reviewing the expected workload for the day. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Must be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers.
* Support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods destined for sale to our customer base

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Performs duties of the removal of rust, scale, paint, corrosion and foreign matter from metal and nonmetal items ranging in size from moderate to large complex item utilizing equipment such as automatic blasting bays, nozzle blasting chambers, nozzle blasting booths etc.
2. On own initiative determines cleaning methods, equipment and abrasives to be used.
3. Controls pressure and abrasive by manipulating valves angles and distance of nozzle etc. to produce desired results.
4. Assures that the proper abrasive i.e. metal, grit, metal shot, seed, glass bead etc. and/or consistency of combined abrasives are used on the various surfaces to produce the desired finished product.
5. Removes dust from cleaned item with high pressure air hose.

Essential Responsibilities:
1. Coats surfaces of contract units with primer, paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices.
2. Prepare surface for painting by removing old paint from vehicles, using liquid paint remover and scraper or plastic and sand media blasting techniques.
3. Smooth surface with sandpaper and steel wool. Roughens aluminum surfaces with acid solution and steel wool to insure that paint adheres to surface.
4. Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted, and paint insignia, letters or numerals on vehicle surface, using stencils.
5. Paints and redecorates vehicles, equipment, parts and fixtures.
6. Work involves the following: Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint required for difference applications. URS Corporation is immediately hiring qualified Parachute Rigger in support of U.S. Navy Aviation Life Support System maintenance operations at Norfolk, VA. Shift work and detachment is required.

Parachute Riggers maintain, inspect, remove, install, troubleshoot and repair E2C related Aircrew flight equipment to include, technical directives, parachute harnesses, survival vests, personal survival gear, helmets, flight clothing, anti-exposure assemblies, pyrotechnics and cartridge actuated devices, remove and install parachute assemblies in the E2C aircraft. Parachute Rigger’s will perform pre-flight and post-flight maintenance inspections on E2C aircraft and Aircrew flight equipment in support of flight schedule; will be required to enter in the maintenance records description of the work performed and update Aircrew records; will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the E-2C aircraft, required to keep aircraft in safe operating condition; will be required to carry tool boxes to and from aircraft; will perform preoperational inspection and operate ground support equipment such as electrical power supply, tow tractors, and engine starting units.
