Position: Programming and Budget Subject Matter Expert (CAAT) to join OT Training Solutions, LLC

Position Description:
Subject Matter Expert on developing budgeting and analysis capabilities in the MoD and MoI to increase efficiency, provide guidance to the CAAT and to support infrastructure that meets the Afghan National Army’s (ANA’ s) and Afghan National Police’s (ANP’s) operational requirements.
Principle Duties/Responsibilities include:
-Acts as the COMISAF Advisory and Assistance Team Subject Matter Expert on the programming and budget actions of the MoD and MoI.
-Provides support and expert advice in the areas of security assistance, programming and budget procedures necessary to build and sustain the ANA and ANP using security assistance programs and international donations post 2014.
-The incumbent may be called upon to participate in or lead Organizational Product Teams (OPTs) and delegations, in solving logistics challenges, as well as, routinely partner and interact with International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), and Headquarters International Security Assistance Force Joint Command (IJC) counterparts to synchronize and coordinate advising efforts.
Minimum Experience/Qualifications:
-Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Programming and Budgeting at the Pentagon/Ministerial level.
-Experience within a joint, interagency, multinational environment.
-Understanding of the regional, political and cultural context of Afghanistan.
-Motivated and have a high level of initiative, tact and diplomacy and interpersonal interaction skills.
-Capable of operating in a culturally and religiously diverse environment and be sensitive to the Afghan peoples they serve with.
-Masters’ degree in Finance, or related field, to Programming and Budget.
-War College Equivalent Graduate (in-residence graduate highly desired).
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
-Security Clearance.
Required Hours: Anticipate working 8 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Description: There are over 700 Field Service Representatives throughout the nation who work for this client and are responsible for a specific territory. Within your territory, you will work out of your home and will service clients who have purchased equipment and supplies from the client. It requires strong electro-mechanical ability to work with both metal fabricated products as well as precision electrical systems. Typical clients will include hospitals, medical teaching universities, medical product manufacturers and food processing companies. You'll be dealing with such diverse contacts as facility managers, purchasing agents, doctors, research scientists and manufacturing project engineers. It requires the ability to work well at all levels and evaluate and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Along with maintaining equipment, a major part of the job is establishing good customer relations with the client. You will be the primary contact with the client, both for maintaining existing business and being aware of new business opportunities An intensive 6-week (two 3-week sessions) training program is held at a new training center in Mentor, OH. Before you go into OH for the training, you will spend at least 30 days in the field working with a Senior Service Representative. This initial exposure to the business will give you a better understanding of your client's needs and a greater appreciation of the training provided.
All promotions come from within the company. In the Service Division, everyone starts at the Response Technician level. There are levels of progression within the Technician role, as well as opportunities to be promoted to District and Regional Manager.
COMPENSATION: Total compensation includes base salary, overtime pay and commission opportunities on leads for new equipment and supplies. First year earnings as a total package will probably be in the $55-60K range (does not include the car & expense benefits). This consists of a base salary of $44-45K + an incentive potential of $2000-4000K + 3% discretionary annual bonus, and at least another $5-7K in overtime pay (depending on territory).
On top of your salary and other incentives, a car is provided with full coverage. The company provides a Dodge Caravan, which can be used as your personal vehicle. The company pays for auto insurance for you and your spouse, as well as all gas and maintenance costs. The employee pays a nominal amount ($25-30/wk) to satisfy IRS rulings regarding company-supplied vehicles.

Duties

• Keep informed of current developments in the technical field by studying technical literature, attending and participating in technical societies, technical meetings and symposia, and through correspondence with other professionals.

• Serve as advisor to AWG leadership officials with broader and higher responsibilities on status of projects, progress made, projected future plans, problems involving the relationship of the work supervised to broader programs and its impact on these programs.

Qualifications/ General Experience
At a minimum the employee should have at least five (5) years of relevant experience with either the U.S. military or other Federal Government agencies that demonstrates the ability to meet the duties described above with an emphasis on the ability to use and analyze trends, operational reports, intelligence, technology and other assets to facilitate solution development to defeat current or emerging asymmetric threats and activities. Demonstrated experience should include activities that integrate concept development to contribute to a clearer understanding of enemy personnel, equipment, infrastructure, TIPs, support mechanisms or other actions in order to forecast specific enemy asymmetric operations directed against U.S. interests. At a minimum, should have a relevant Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Must maintain appropriate level of physical fitness to conduct extended operations in a variety of terrain and environmental conditions, and able to pass the APFT on a no-notice or semiannual basis.

Position Overview:
The Information Technology (IT) Specialist serves on a COMISAF Advisory and Assistant Team (CAAT) Headquarters (HQ) Team located in Kabul, Afghanistan, providing subject matter expertise to the Senior SFA Advisor to support CAAT HQ. Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of finger dexterity, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, talking, seeing, hearing, and repetitive motion. Requires ability to constantly lift large and heavy objects and boxes and to repeatedly load and unload large objects throughout the shift. Must have ability to safely lift 50lbs. without assistance and to push and pull up to 150 lbs. with appropriate equipment.
