Minimum Requirements:
Position is contingent on contract award.
High School graduate or equivalent. Minimum seven (7) years actual and recent maintenance/repair and modification experience of similar equipment is required. A working knowledge of TAMMS, COSIS, and AWRDS required.
Ideal candidate will have Military experience in a ground maintenance field, previous leadership experience have Lean and Six Sigma value engineering experience, and be Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) certified.

Job Description:
Inspection and repair only as necessary (IROAN) of wheeled vehicles to include 10/20/30 level maintenance. Primary assigned vehicles include LTAS, HMMWV, MRAP and HEMTT Series vehicles and trailers. Perform inspection of entire vehicle. Test pneumatic, hydraulic, electric and power train systems. Repair or replace any component or system which fails inspection and testing while maintaining compliance IAW applicable technical manual and local standard operating procedures. Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and document results. Operate engine testing equipment, measuring instruments/devices, calipers, and indicators; Repair and adjust mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components and sub-systems.
Assign work orders to mechanic and monitor progress to completion. Ensure mechanics perform all maintenance IAW applicable technical manuals. Ensure mechanics work in a clean, safe environment and wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Supervise servicing of equipment the through cyclic/exercise maintenance program for service/repair and back to storage IAW TM 38-470. Determine whether repairs can be accomplished locally or evacuation is necessary. Ensure all AWRDS reports and data are correct. Ensure PCBs are updated by subordinate personnel. Support the Battalion Continuous Improvement (CI) Program by providing active participation in the program. Recommend control substitution of repair parts. Conduct thorough review of historical records for accuracy i.e., DA Form 2408-20 (Oil Analysis Log), DA Form 2408-9 (Equipment Control Record) log books, service packets, etc, in accordance with DA PAM 750-8. Ensures any such faults are corrected prior to submission for QC final inspection. Close out all open entries on work orders, DA Form 2404, and complete log book check list prior to submitting W/O to Maintenance Supervisor.
Conduct safety briefings each day prior to work start up. Enforce safety standards throughout the workforce. Interface daily with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep higher-level management personnel informed of all mission-related requirements/progress and to receive directives as needed. Relay any decisions, which require a higher authority, to the appropriate personnel. Interface with production control clerk and material coordinator for maintenance and supply actions to include opening and closing of job orders, status changes.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years recent and related experience. Passing PFT and RESPIRATOR FIT Test annually will be required for this position, which will be scheduled upon date of hire. Must be able to lift 40 to 45 pounds according to OSHA Standards. Sandblaster will operate abrasive blasting equipment: to clean rust, scale, paint, corrosion and foreign matter from metal and nonmetal surfaces from military vehicles, parts and other mobile equipment.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Performs duties of the removal of rust, scale, paint, corrosion and foreign matter from metal and nonmetal items ranging in size from moderate to large complex item utilizing equipment such as automatic blasting bays, nozzle blasting chambers, nozzle blasting booths etc.
2. On own initiative determines cleaning methods, equipment and abrasives to be used.
3. Controls pressure and abrasive by manipulating valves angles and distance of nozzle etc. to produce desired results.
4. Assures that the proper abrasive i.e. metal, grit, metal shot, seed, glass bead etc. and/or consistency of combined abrasives are used on the various surfaces to produce the desired finished product.
5. Removes dust from cleaned item with high pressure air hose.

The Motor Vehicle Mechanic performs routine maintenance, preventive maintenance services, repairs and modifications on wheeled vehicles. Diagnose system malfunctions; isolate causes, and correct deficiencies on engines, power train systems, sub-systems and brake systems.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Service, repair and overhaul equipment and engines using common hand tools.
2. Repair, replace, and rebuild equipment and engine components, fuel systems (including cells, tanks and fuel/metering control systems), and functional components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, rivet gun, and drills.
3. Inspect and repair engines malfunctions, including cracked components, oil leaks, etc.
4. Diagnose malfunctions, isolate causes and correct breaks.

Primary Functions:

• Provide day-to-day support to: preparing acquisition documentation and briefings, including statements of work (SOWs), Statements of Objectives (SOOs), technical evaluations of proposals, acquisition plans, and acquisition strategy panel (ASP) briefings as required for the Eglin Program and key modernization projects.

• MARs require fluency in the System Metric and Reporting Tool (SMART). The tool manages Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), Earned Value Metric (EVM) data, Risks, Program Issues, and Financial Management (FM) data.
• Assist in preparing program Congressional Documentation (P/R Docs), 1537s/WBS Reconciliation, PB15 O&M FINPLAN, mid-year OSD Reviews, Spring Program Reviews/Investment Budget Reviews, yearly spend-plans, etc.
• Assist in budget execution by:
• Advising Govt PM on financial data on Eglin Program Expenditure reports from Prime contractor
• Monitoring commitments, obligations, and expenditures incurred for all appropriations/fiscal years
• Preparing financial plan and execution of the funds for all types of funds and appropriations
• Assisting Squadron personnel understand single and multi-year appropriations and their characteristics, uses, applications and structure

Details of the position:
The COMSEC Security Manager's primary function is working within Special Access Programs (SAPs) supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, such as HQ Air Force, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and Military Compartments efforts. The position will provide "day-to-day" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities. The COMSEC Security Manager must be familiar with COMSEC requirements and procedures to include the acquisition, maintenance, operations and disposition of COMSEC equipment.
Description of Duties - Duties may include but are not limited to:
. Conducting secure equipment (e.g. secure telephone and encryption devices) and classified keying material inventories, inspections and other COMSEC related support and oversight functions.
. Performing installation of secure telephone equipment (STE) and coordinates to deliver encryption device(s), and keying material to select Information Technology (IT) specialist maintaining classified networks.
. Administering a Top Secret inventory and document control program to account for COMSEC equipment and materials.

. Sending classified information and author's receipt for classified materials via courier.
. Enforcing compliance with Air Force COMSEC standards by team members by providing security education and training on operating procedures.
. Ensuring Automated Information Systems Security requirements, related to COMSEC duties, are complied with.
. Ensuring that physical security duties, including confirming proper accreditation, has been issued by designated Program Security Officers for supported facilities.
. Possessing a strong understanding of COMSEC accountability, as well as knowledge of the procedures required for the issue and receipt of COMSEC equipment and materials to include inventory and mailing.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely switch railcars and safe train movement.
SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to and acting on safety
concerns.
COMMUNICATION: Obtain and receive information and act on oral or written instructions by various communication devices. Monitor and report daily work.

TRAIN OPERATION: Climb on/off equipment, set/release hand brakes, couple/uncouple air hoses, remove/replace broken 75lb railcar connectors, ride moving cars
by hanging on grab irons or ladders. Observe, interpret and relay hand, lantern, and other signals for train movement; judge and control speed and clearance
distance of cars; distinguish among colors and see at night.
SWITCHING FUNCTIONS: Operate track switches and derails to change train routing within yards or on road. Check switch points for proper alignment.
TRAIN AND EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS: Switch, spot cars and determine train make-up. Observe and monitor track conditions (e.g. broken rails, defective
switches, weather-related problems). Inspect cars per federal regulations. Observe and report on passing train conditions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years of age or older
HS diploma or GED
Available to work in geographic area indicated
Able to arrive at the assigned work location within 90 minutes of notification to report to work
Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work on-call, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, including nights, weekends, holidays. Must report to assigned work location within 90 minutes of notification. Work may
be seasonal for weather or business
Available to travel to and remain on designated seniority region for days at a time
Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently, 60 lbs occasionally and up to 90 lbs infrequently
Ability to see and interpret hand signals from near and far; visually distinguish colors - red, blue, green, yellow and lunar (clear light); visually judge speed and
distance of moving objects; see at night; hear, and, with training, distinguish auditory signals
Able to visually distinguish and differentiate colors on computer display screens
Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
Able to work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders and get on/off equipment; work at various heights above the ground including on top of locomotives,
railcars and other equipment
Able to work in conditions with loud noise and fumes; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, lift, walk, stand, sit for extended time; and use hand tools
Follow safety policies and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment
Training: Company-paid on-the-job and classroom training for up to 17 weeks at location hired.
Relocation: Assistance not available.
Work Conditions: Extreme all-weather conditions; uneven surfaces; safety sensitive work environment.
Probationary Period: 60 days.
Seniority District Transfers: Transfer eligibility varies by location; may require up to 3 years employment and General Manager approval.
Travel: Frequent. May be away from home for extended time.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely switch railcars and safe train movement.
SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include wearing required safety equipment, responding to and acting on safety
concerns.
COMMUNICATION: Obtain and receive information and act on oral or written instructions by various communication devices. Monitor and report daily work.

TRAIN OPERATION: Climb on/off equipment, set/release hand brakes, couple/uncouple air hoses, remove/replace broken 75lb railcar connectors, ride moving cars
by hanging on grab irons or ladders. Observe, interpret and relay hand, lantern, and other signals for train movement; judge and control speed and clearance
distance of cars; distinguish among colors and see at night.
SWITCHING FUNCTIONS: Operate track switches and derails to change train routing within yards or on road. Check switch points for proper alignment.
TRAIN AND EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS: Switch, spot cars and determine train make-up. Observe and monitor track conditions (e.g. broken rails, defective
switches, weather-related problems). Inspect cars per federal regulations. Observe and report on passing train conditions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years of age or older
HS diploma or GED
Available to work in geographic area indicated
Able to arrive at the assigned work location within 90 minutes of notification to report to work
Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work on-call, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, including nights, weekends, holidays. Must report to assigned work location within 90 minutes of notification. Work may
be seasonal for weather or business
Available to travel to and remain on designated seniority region for days at a time
Able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs frequently, 60 lbs occasionally and up to 90 lbs infrequently
Ability to see and interpret hand signals from near and far; visually distinguish colors - red, blue, green, yellow and lunar (clear light); visually judge speed and
distance of moving objects; see at night; hear, and, with training, distinguish auditory signals
Able to visually distinguish and differentiate colors on computer display screens
Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling
Able to work on uneven surfaces; frequently climb ladders and get on/off equipment; work at various heights above the ground including on top of locomotives,
railcars and other equipment
Able to work in conditions with loud noise and fumes; work on/around heavy/moving machinery; bend, lift, walk, stand, sit for extended time; and use hand tools
Follow safety policies and procedures; wear required personal protective equipment
Training: Company-paid on-the-job and classroom training for up to 17 weeks at location hired.
Relocation: Assistance not available.
Work Conditions: Extreme all-weather conditions; uneven surfaces; safety sensitive work environment.
Probationary Period: 60 days.
Seniority District Transfers: Transfer eligibility varies by location; may require up to 3 years employment and General Manager approval.
Travel: Frequent. May be away from home for extended time.
Shifts/Hours: Full time, including on-call (24/7), nights, weekends and holidays. Work in geographic area as posted and report to assigned work location within 90
minutes notification. Work may be seasonal for weather or business.
Union: United Transportation Union Dues: Per union agreement; membership and dues required.
