Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office are also required. 40 hour OSHA HazWoper certification and experience in spill response is a plus.
Strong communication, analytical skills, business acumen, leadership qualities, efficient time management and organization, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders with conflicting interests are essential.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have completed a Biomedical Equipment Technology or Engineering training program leading to a diploma, certificate or an associate's degree.
U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technician technical school training certification (4A2X1, 68A, or HM-8478) will also fulfill this requirement.
Certification by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI)
Must have additional training and experience repairing CT scanners and similar sophisticated equipment.
Must have and maintain current certification in Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
Must have 5-7 years' experience
All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Inspect, maintain, adjust, calibrate, and repair a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and hydraulic equipment, to include patient monitors, defibrillators, medical imaging equipment (X-rays, CT scanners, and ultrasound equipment), voice-controlled operating tables, electric wheelchairs, as well as other sophisticated dental, optometric, and ophthalmic equipment.
*Perform routine scheduled maintenance to ensure that all equipment is in good working order.
*Perform safety checks and train practitioners to safely operate equipment.
*Disassembles equipment to locate causes of malfunctions or inaccuracies. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Reassembles equipment and adjusts precision components.
*Notifies manufacturers or distributors of uncorrectable equipment malfunctions to arrange for repair.

The Medical Services Support in Iraq (MSSI) Program Manager establishes a clinically safe and professionally managed healthcare environment and provides primary health care as well as resuscitative surgical care in accordance with U.S. or equivalent medical standards on a 24-hour basis, 365 days of the year to Chief of Mission (COM) personnel U.S. Embassy Baghdad, serving a population of approximately 14,000 adults.
SCOPE:
The Radiology Technician reports to and will be supervised by the site medical director or other primary medical provider (Radiologist, Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician's Assistants) on the work site.
The Radiology Technician will be assigned to treat patients in one of two settings: (1) Small medical/trauma hospitals, (2) Large medical/trauma hospital and assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
In these settings, Radiology Technician performs diagnostic imaging examinations like x-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and mammography. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records. In addition, Radiology Technician prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position; adjustment equipment controls to set exposure factors. Radiology technicians must follow physicians' orders precisely and conform to regulations concerning the use of radiation to protect themselves, their patients, and their co-workers from unnecessary exposure.
In addition to preparing patients and operating equipment, radiology technicians keep patient records and adjust and maintain equipment. They also may prepare work schedules, evaluate purchases of equipment, or manage a radiology department.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.
All health care providers and medical support staff must have recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months out of the past year
This position is notional and will be filled upon future openings.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Must have completed an approved Radiology Technician program leading to a Diploma, Certificate or Associate's degree.
Must have an unrestricted state license or be American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified.
Minimum of 5-years' experience as a Radiology Technician including 1 year with ultrasound in a clinical setting.
U.S. Military Radiology Technician technical school training certification (4R0X1, 68P, HM-8451) will also fulfill this requirement.
Must be experienced in performing CT procedures, including contrast exams.
Must have and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Performs diagnostic imaging examinations like X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, mammography and ultrasound. Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
*Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into specified position; adjustment equipment controls to set exposure factors.
*Gains patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations of treatment; answering questions.
*Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques, using beam restrictive devices, patient shielding, and knowledge of exposure factors.
*Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols; following drug protocols in case of reactions to drugs, such as contrast media, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart.
*Maintains production and quality of radiographs or other media by following established standards and procedures; developing radiographs; observing radiographic results; making necessary adjustments.
*Ensures operation of radiology equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
*Maintains radiology supplies and inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
*Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
OTHER DUTIES:
*All Health Care Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow up care required.
*Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, new task efforts, and new policy requirements.
*Maintains the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the American Hospital Associations Bill of Rights for patients.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
*Radiology Technician will require a favorably adjudicated Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) investigation conducted by the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security.
*Radiology Technician will sign a CHS MSSI Foreign Service Agreement (FSA) and is bound to the terms and conditions of the FSA.
*The normal workweek is established by the DoS Chief of Mission.
The following requirements apply to all Radiology Technicians:
*Shall be licensed in the United States
*Must complete a Foreign Affairs Counter Terrorism training course prior to deployment to Iraq for work on the MSSI contract. Training will include: Combat First Aid, Weapons Familiarization, Defensive Tactics/Driving, IED recognition, Surveillance Detection and Hostage Survival and Personnel Recovery
*Participate in training, (including HIPAA training) that may be required by DoS or CHS prior to deployment to Iraq.

Management Personnel:
Contract Manager. The CM shall have experience working with senior military officers and at a minimum, the CM shall have experience commensurate to that of a senior Non-commissioned Officer (NCO) of the pay grade of E8. And have previous contract management experience of at least 5 years. Additionally experience as a USSF medical NCO is highly preferred.
Senior Instructor Manager (SIM). Has previous experience as a senior medical instructor who will be responsible for the quality of all medical instruction throughout the duration of the period of performance. The SIM shall be one of the "working" platform instructors as either an AMI or SOF-P (SME).
Advanced Medical Instructors (AMI):
AMI instructors will provide basic and advanced medical instruction for the JSOMTC Medical Courses. These instructors shall have the experience and qualifications listed below.
1. Must be graduates of a World Health Organization accredited medical school or American Medical Association/American Academy of Physician Assistants accredited physician assistant program.
2. Must have passed the United States Medical Licensing Examination or National Committee on the Certification of Physician Assistants certification test or equivalent nursing licensure exam.
3. Have at least one year of experience as a member of a USSOCOM deployable Special Operations unit or at least one year of experience as an instructor in a USSOCOM medical pipeline course.
SOF Paramedic Instructors (SOF-P):
SOF-P instructors will provide Emergency Technician Basic (B) Paramedic (P) Courses, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation. These instructors shall have the experience and qualifications listed:
Complete an approved Instructor Trainer Course. SOF-P instructors shall maintain currency of the following credentials:
1. Basic Life Support Instructor (BLS-I) - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor (ACLS-I) - Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP)
2. Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic EMT-P, certified IAW NREMT or IAW USSOCOM Advanced Tactical Practitioner (ATP) requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Assists Program Office in the development of acquisition documentation.
Work with the team members to identify all acquisition actions and required
information related to the requirements, development, and execution of the
acquisition processes.
Support all programmatic aspects of the Acquisition Life Cycle from Pre-MDD
to MS C, to include all required documentation to meet MS requirements in
IAW DoD Acquisition regulations and guidelines.
Provide program management support for activities including the analysis
necessary to describe the requirements for the materiel solution; the
solution scope, objectives, business outcomes, outcome-based performance
measures, constraints, and dependencies; the program justification,
including assumptions, DOTMLPF impact, critical success factors, and risk
management.
Provide program management support to activities including the analysis
necessary for an integrated test program schedule; test management structure
and processes; developmental and operational test and evaluation (OT&E)
phases (objectives, events, entrance criteria, scope, and limitations);
critical technical parameters; critical operational issues, with associated
measures of effectiveness and performance; and required resources.
Provide support to the program developing the following documents for a
Milestone A Decision:
. The Acquisition Strategy
. The Acquisition Plan
. Systems Engineering Plan
. Information Assurance Strategy
. Data Management Strategy
. Technology Development Strategy
. Market Research
. Program Protection Plan
. Information Support Plan
. Life-Cycle Sustainment Plan
. Test Plan
Coordinates and prepares program documents including, but not limited to;
performance work statements, statement of objectives, risk mitigation plans,
request for proposal, contract documents, memorandums, program briefings.
Supports long-range program planning for assigned projects and the
preparation of program briefings for higher headquarters. Augments the
program at various implementation meetings in person or via telecom/ VTC
such as weekly and quarterly status reviews. Records and compiles meeting
minutes and action items for record and development of trip reports.
Maintains automated file system and databases for the team. Develops and
updates reoccurring reports including Weeksum, SITREPs, Memorandum for
Records, Staff Notes, and contracting support documents.
Strong communication and organization skills required.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and Power Point
required.
MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:
. B.S. Degree in Business, Engineering, or other Related discipline
. Ten (10) years of Army Acquisition Program Management, Systems Engineering, experience
. ACAT Level I, II, or III experience with Program Office
