ABOUT THIS POSITION
The Forest is looking for a dynamic individual with an interest to work efficiently and collaboratively with an emphasis on providing high quality customer service. This position is supervised by the District Administrative Assistant. The incumbent serves as a Customer Service Representative GS-0303-05.
Duties of this position include: Opening and closing the office Monday through Friday. Set office hours are 8-4:30. This position is a front desk/administrative resource assistant. They will contribute as a visitor information contact by greeting visitors and responding to a wide variety of customer requests and questions, refer the public to the appropriate District staff to answer more complex questions, perform duties including answering incoming calls, and taking messages for employees, processing mail, perform copying and scanning tasks, hard copy and electronic filing, process official correspondence, database entry, maintain inventory of maps and guides, and act as POC for various functions. They will serve as the main District Collection Officer to sell forest passes, fuelwood permits, Christmas tree permits, and other items and collect money from these sales while maintaining accurate and official accounting records. Serves as a member of the District administrative team and will attend at all District meetings and monthly safety meetings. This team member will provide support to the District staff as needed with a variety of office related tasks including records management.
South Platte Ranger District Area Information
South Platte Ranger District, Morrison, Colorado. The District has 29 permanent year round staff, and up to 20-25 additional temporary staff during the summer field season. The District is located east of the Continental Divide in the central Rocky Mountains and lies adjacent to the Denver Metro area in Park, Jefferson, Douglas, Clear Creek and Teller counties. Elevations range from 5800 feet in the east, to over 14,000 feet in the north. The South Platte RD is 460,000 acres in size.
The recreational opportunities on the South Platte District are enormous with approximately 70% of its use occurring as dispersed activities such as camping, fishing, hiking, swimming and tubing. Some of the unique opportunities found on the South Platte include 115 miles of motorcycle/ATV trails in the Rampart Range area, 70 miles of South Platte River Recreation (visited by 700,000 people a year), approximately 50 miles of mountain bike trails, hiking and horseback riding use on 250 miles of trails, and two wilderness areas.
CAMPGROUNDS & PICNIC AREAS: In addition to dispersed camping, the District manages 21 developed campgrounds. All fee sites are operated by concessionaires.
TRAILS: Hundreds of miles of motorized and non-motorized trails used for recreational activies including motorcycling, ATV, hiking, horseback riding, water sports and crosscountry skiing and snowshoeing. There are two mountain peaks over 14,000 feet on the District.
WILDERNESS: The District has two Wilderness areas: the Lost Creek Wilderness area and the Mt Evans Wilderness which we co-manage with the Clear Creek Ranger District.
Community Information
Morrison, Colorado is at an elevation of around 5800 feet. It is the nearest community to the South Platte Ranger District office. Winters are moderate and summer temps are in the 70s in July. The population of Morrison is 400-500 with limited amenities.
The closest metropolitan area is the city of Denver. From downtown Denver, it is approximately 25 miles to the South Platte District Office.
Denver is a large city of 2 million+. Housing availability and approximate rent for a one bedroom apartment in Denver is $900. Median housing purchase price is $262,000.00+. Denver is the closest area for hospitals, community colleges and universities. Denver International Airport is located on the eastern edge of the city.

Armed Tactical/Operational Intelligence Analyst
Job Description
Functions as a part of an intelligence analytical team of military and/or DoD civilian analysts in support of CJ2 analytical requirements. The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analysis, reporting, data basing and dissemination of Afghanistan measures of stability which include security, governance and development, Human Terrain Analysis, preparation of provincial and district assessments and Campaign and Mission Analysis briefings and annexes, High Value Individual Targeting products, Extremist and Regional Threat Network Nodal Analysis, Preparation of Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Assessment Metrics which include daily imagery intelligence (IMINT), Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Human Intelligence (HUMINT) products to gauge the effectiveness of collection operations, 24/7 Indications & Warning withstanding and all-source exploitation of documents and media from detainees. This position is mid-level analyst.
The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for researching, developing, presenting and publishing all-source intelligence products at the tactical, operational and strategic level related to Military actions, insurgent activities, economic and political activities, and threats to regional stability as part of an overall analytical team. This position provides input to multiple Government requirements and objectives, assist with the analysis and production of various intelligence products, and supply analytical support for senior Military leaders. The Intelligence Analyst shall attend meetings and conduct comprehensive research on complex topics independently or as a part of a larger analytical effort focusing on current events and long-term trends that could impact the Government’s mission.
Qualifications
Screening will be done off-FOB. This is an armed position and the individual must be able to qualify with the M4 Rifle and M9 Pistol using basic military marksmanship standards. Must be able to carry a 60-lb pack in the field and the M4 Rifle for self-defense.
This position requires the submission of an unclassified analytical writing sample on Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, Al Qaida, the Taliban, the Haqqani network or the HIG (250 words minimum) with their resume.
Must be proficient in utilizing basic computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
Must possess strong research and writing skills and be capable of effectively operating as a member of a strategic level analytical team in the accomplishment of intelligence products and assessments. This position requires former MOS 1N, 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A or equivalent.

K2 Solutions, Inc. is seeking Special Operations Forces (SOF) Operations Integrators to serve on a unique, multi-discipline team assisting Special Operations Forces' (SOF) operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and their subordinate units with fusing operations and intelligence information in an effective, seamless process to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks that facilitate or employ Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).
This multi-discipline team provides operations advice to SOF commanders and staff on all activities with regards to planning and synchronization of effort of JIEDDO-COIC support to deployed SOF elements. The team will coordinate SOF requests for support with other deployed counter-improvised explosive Device (C-IED) assets provided by JIEDDO and partner nation elements. The SOF Operations Integrator will:

Provide advice to SOF Commanders and their staff on how to best integrate C-IED, and specifically Attack the Network (AtN) capabilities into their ongoing operations and analytical efforts.
Detailed Responsibilities:
SOF Operations Integrators, in conjunction with other members of the SOF Support Team, will work with tactical and operational Special Operations Forces (SOF) elements (ODA to TSOC) to leverage cutting edge tools and processes designed to improve intelligence and operations fusion within their planning and mission execution cycles. The focus of these fusion efforts is exposure of enemy networks that employ IEDs.
The SOF Operations Integrator will serve as a direct link between JIEDDO and deployed SOF units on all current and future initiatives.
The SOF Operations Integrator serves as the primary advisor to the deployed SOF commander and staff on all activities with regards to planning, and synchronization of effort of JIEDDO AtN support to deployed SOF elements. The Operations Integrator applies in-depth understanding of both the supported unit's operational requirements as well as JIEDDO's AtN capabilities in order to identify exploitable vulnerabilities of targeted enemy organizations. The SOF Operations Integrator must apply a thorough understanding of the Ops/Intel fusion process as well as subject matter expertise on SOF operations, IEDs, and JIEDDO capabilities.
The Operations Integrator ensures all SOF requests for AtN support are fully coordinated with other JIEDDO deployed assets. The Operations Integrator advises SOF Commanders and their staffs on how to best integrate JIEDDO capabilities into their ongoing operations and analytical efforts.
Successful applicants must possess strong oral and writing skills, experience working with multidiscipline teams, and the ability to identify and analyze problems through the lens of their experience and subject matter expertise in order to generate executable solutions.
The SOF Operations Integrator must have the ability to perform tasks with Microsoft productivity software and applications. The Military Operations Integrator should have the ability to perform tasks with the following web-based intelligence tools, software, and databases: Microsoft SharePoint, Google Earth spatial analysis software, SIPR, and JWICS.
This position requires recurring domestic and international travel to include deploying to combat zones.
The applicant may be called upon to support 24-hour watch operations.

Required:
Applicants must be fully deployable to the required theater of operations, wear uniforms, and be prepared to bear arms as prescribed by the supported unit commander.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from a college or university in a related field is preferred. Also preferred is someone with work experience in a position of similar capacity.

The SharePoint Developer for Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 supporting an Army Knowledge Management Office will develop customization and data integration for management reporting and business process automation in SharePoint Server 2013. They will be in close coordination with the user-base, develop and maintain workflow capabilities, and assist the command to improve its knowledge management capabilities. Tasks include:
Automation of Business Processes using SharePoint Workflow capabilities within SharePoint Designers and Visual Studio as required.
Custom solution development using either SharePoint Designer or Visual Studio

Required Skills:

Education/ Certification:
4 year degree required. CompTIA Security+ certification is desired. Candidate will be required to get the certification within the first couple weeks of employment for privileged access to the SharePoint farm. Current study and preparation for Certification in SharePoint 2013 is highly favorable. Air/Ground Exercise Operations Planner
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Air/Ground Exercise
Operations Planner at Fort Bragg, NC with primary focus on Joint/Combined
Aviation, Close Air Support, and bilateral (Air/Ground) SOF training
exercises. Lead, plan, coordinate and facilitate full scope of operations
within the Exercise Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC).
EDUCATION:
B.S degree with related military experience or other related field of
study or 10 years of equivalent experience. Aircrew experience in a Close
Air Support (CAS) military platform is highly desired.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Qualified candidates must possess advanced management and organizational
skills and demonstrate an understanding of Joint Air/Ground SOF and
Combined/Joint Force Air Component Command (CJFACC) Operational and
Tactical level operations requirements. Must have significant analytical,
planning, coordination, negotiation and directing skills to ensure
requirements are satisfied. Responsible for planning operational and
tactical training exercises involving special operations and conventional
fire support forces. Exercises are comprised of US and Allied Special
Operations Forces, US and Allied Air Force, Navy, and Army Fixed Wing and
Rotary Wing CAS/Fighter/Bomber platforms and USMC and US Army
direct/indirect Fire support units and platforms. Requires proficiency in
current aviation planning systems to include Portable Flight Planning
Software (PFPS/Falcon View) and a thorough understanding of Joint Terminal
Attack Controller (JTAC) and fires support tactics, techniques and
procedures. Require a basic understanding and experience using operational
planning products to include grid reference graphics and experience in
exercise scenario development. Very good Oral and Writing Skills are
required to prepare and present briefs to Senior Military Officers.
CONUS/OCONUS travel to support Joint Event Life Cycle activities is
required.

49. Field Service Technicians - ISR Systems (Afghanistan)(Secret)
STS has openings available for experienced Field Service Technicians to support the deployment, installation and maintenance of new or existing Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) equipment and or like systems in Afghanistan and other OCONUS locations. This position is anticipated to be for a period of approximately one year with the possibility of extension.
Qualified candidates must have recent relevant experience installing, maintaining, repairing & training of ISR or like-equipment relevant experience within the past 24 months.
Position Roles and Responsibilities:
• Focus will be on providing maintenance and operational support of numerous complex intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) systems as well as various other imaging and force protection systems.
• Coordinate and conduct installation, inspection, troubleshooting, maintenance, field repair, and life cycle sustainment of assigned systems.
• Travel extensively throughout Afghanistan and other overseas locations to provide field maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting and repair expertise to ensure continuous system operations.
• Provide operator, maintainer, and system administrator program of instruction (POI) and new equipment training (NET) training on assigned systems as needed.
• Provide comprehensive, life cycle logistical support to sustain operations and readiness of systems.
• Regularly interface with client leadership and end-users for daily operations, presentations, and status reports.
Minimum/General Experience:
• Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience (5 years if candidate possesses an Associate's degree) in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and training users in operating, maintaining and repairing intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), Aerostats and or like systems; maintaining military communications, electrical, and electronics systems.
• Must have recent experience (within the last 24 months) experience installing, maintaining, repairing and or training of ISR or like equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in maintaining complex military communications, electrical, and electronics systems;
• Experience should include a working knowledge of AC electric power, battery plants, and grounding standards.
• Ability to repair and perform failure analysis on electronic controls and assembly.
• Knowledge of computers (to include using Microsoft Office, the internet, and basic programming functions) is required, as is the ability to install programs, check start-up logs to determine where errors occur, and change out computer hard drives and power supplies.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and a completed apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
Clearance: Interested candidates must have an active DoD Secret clearance.
Additional Candidate Requirements:
• Candidates must be willing to work and live in Afghanistan and/or other austere conditions for up to one year with a possibility of extension. Danger, stress, physical hardships and possible field living conditions associated with this position are possible within a field camp complex.
• Prior experience working overseas is required.
• Willing to work a 12 hour shift, 6 days a week for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a health and welfare screening and meet requirements as stated in FM 3-100.21, "Contractors on the Battlefield."
• Possess a current United States passport.
• Ability to cope with shared cafeteria, bath and sleeping quarters.
• Valid US driver's license in good standing
• Ability to routinely lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 pounds
• Ability to do physically demanding work including lifting and climbing in rigorous environments (including extreme heat and desert climates).

DUTIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
The HR Operations office is seeking one candidate who has significant
experience and in-depth knowledge in the Federal civil service fields of pay
and leave policies, time and attendance, wage garnishments, and requesting
manual adjustments from the payroll office. The work requires the ability to
clearly communicate complex regulatory/procedural information verbally and
in writing to managers, employees and administrative personnel who have
limited, or no familiarity with principles, regulations or policies
governing pay and leave in the Federal civilian service.
Time and Attendance (T&A) Experience is a Must!
The ideal candidate must be able to:
* independently interpret pay and leave laws, rules and regulations. Based
on detailed analysis, identify applicable guidelines and furnish responses
to employees and/or supervisors; analyze how and when error occurred and
recommend corrective action.
* advise management officials on pay, leave and tours of duty regulations.
Explain the difference between FLSA, Title 5, or Title 7 pay laws and
various agency directives.
The candidate selected will serves as the agency expert on time and
attendance system, webTA. Answers questions relating to proper completion of
time and attendance (T&A) reports and use of the appropriate transaction
codes. May involve preparing written guidelines and/or conducting training
sessions.
-- the candidate will monitor submission of biweekly T&A reports to the
agency payroll office, The National Finance Center (NFC). This includes
retrieving and reviewing reports verifying what is outstanding. Contact must
then be made to the appropriate agency personnel and instructions may need
to be communicated.
-- reviews and analyzes leave error reports and leave audits submitted.
Provides training to appropriate personnel regarding recurring errors.
Provides explanation of entries on the Earnings and Leave Statements.
-- reviews and makes determinations regarding court orders requiring
garnishment of wages for child support, alimony, bankruptcy, or commercial
garnishments. Determines if necessary to call OGC or send them a copy of the
court orders to request their advice and guidance. Notifies employee of
action, processes necessary documents for NFC to begin withholdings, and
notifies court that garnishment has been honored or rejected. Responds to
inquiries relating to same.
The work to be performed for the Leave and Compensation position shall be at
the Minneapolis, MN facility. A security background check is required due to
the candidate working in a secure government facility. Office equipment will
be provided.
2. DELIVERABLES
The Government will provide the contractor with actions to complete.
Turnaround times differ depending upon work performed. The report to monitor
bi-weekly T&A's has a turnaround time of one day. Leave audits must be
completed within a pay period of receipt. Wage garnishments must be
completed within 30 days of receipt. Requests for manual adjustments must be
completed within a pay period of receipt.
