Position: Procurement Coordinator Location: Indianola, PA Duration: Two years Major Tasks and Responsibilities of Position: • Efficiently and accurately manage daily execution of transactional purchasing activities within the SAP system including purchasing and order fulfillment management. • Support Site Procurement in the creation, review, and execution of contracts and orders within the applicable contract system for Indirect Non-manufacturing sourcing categories. • Understand and ensure compliance with all procedures, policies and directives within Bayer HealthCare and the procure-to-pay cycle. • Develop strong and productive relationships with key stakeholders to anticipate future procurement needs and ensure a partnering rapport. • Manage and trouble-shoot daily issues regarding order processing, fulfillment, cost and quality, and forward when required to Procurement Technical Support Organization for technical problem resolution. • Collaborate with the AP Shared Services Organization to achieve problem resolution for issues related to accounts payable data and transactions. • Enter and facilitate the timely vendor master creation and change requests within the SAP system and trouble-shoot issues with regard to documentation (e.g. w-9 or w-8). • Manage the data gathering, testing and analysis for monthly or quarterly ICS Control testing, the timely completion of identified remediation activities, and support internal and external audits as needed. • Support Site Procurement on any Product Supply initiatives that arise through SAP (or other Procurement system) data gathering and analysis. This role will be responsible for executing local operational and administrative purchasing procedures to meet the needs of the Bayer HealthCare Medical Care Division Radiology business while insuring purchasing efficiency, quality, compliance and effectiveness.
