Summary:
The Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) Manager is responsible for the planning, administration and management of safety, health and life safety programs throughout the hospital and all off-site facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations and standards as well as applicable standards set forth by The Joint Commission. The major functions of this position are: managing the team responsible for ensuring specific, daily compliance with regulations, performing regular performance assessments, managing regulatory compliance audits, ensure effective recordkeeping, coordinate leadership reporting, and act in the role of Hospital Safety Officer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Directs overall EH&S Department planning, direction and management of staff and services to include, workplace inspections, educational programs, environmental hazards and compliance issues and problem solving in response to various inquiries, complaints and emergencies as wells as develops and executes departmental budget
• As the hospital Safety Officer develop hospital-wide safety policies and programs to comply with local, state and federal regulations, analyze risks, address incidents, and develop mitigation strategies including those for Life Safety.
• Responsible for negotiation of compliance issues with regulatory agencies as necessary and track any response to citations/violations should they occur
• Conducts TJC EOC/Life Safety regulatory compliance program. Lead role during survey activity audits, lead hospital interface for The Joint Commission (TJC) Environment of Care (EOC) for interviews, review of records, corrective actions, & Performance Improvement Opportunities. Coordinate continual preparation for all TJC EOC regulatory compliance activities for all sites.
• As EOC Safety Committee Chair, leads generation of EOC quarterly reports, annual evaluations, and management plans. Conducts TJC EOC Periodic Performance Reviews. Coordinates EOC meeting agenda minutes and logistics; monthly. Maintains EOC documentation and records. Coordinates EOC Safety Manual Policies and Procedures.
• Manages the Hazardous & Medical Waste, Waste Water & Strom Drain program,and Bay Area Air Quality Management Districtsincluding applicable policy, program, and regulatory/compliance audits.
• Manages Life/ Fire Safety Program including emergency evacuation program, equipment, regulatory/ compliance audits and training.
• Manages all aspects of Laser Safety program (as assigned)
• Oversees EH&S personnel management to include hire/fire, employee engagement, and resource allocation
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in work-related discipline/field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
5 years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience including one (1) year in the specialty area to which assigned.

Reports To: EH&S Manager
Summary:
Monitors health and safety conditions at the hospital as well as all off-site facilities by determining the existence of possible health hazards (medical, bio-hazard, occupational health) and take steps to correct them.
Provides EH&S leadership in the hospital and develops proactive approaches to safety. Conducts employee safety training and develops, prioritizes and implements EH&S training projects to protect people, products and environment from exposure to injury, risk or economic loss. Keeps the facilities up to regulatory standards and is aware of all the areas in which health or safety problems are likely to arise and develop plans to help employees reduce the possibility of violations. Is familiar with current government and industry regulations and provides subject matter expertise regarding state and federal regulations and best practices.
Works as a team member within HAZMAT response team, maintains Hazard communications (SDS), and is responsible for recycling and universal waste programs as well as for fire drills and emergency evacuations. Participates in incident analysis to identify root cause and recommends effective preventative corrective actions. Will conduct program and policy reviews and provide recommendations for program improvements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Actively promotes safety and health awareness to hospital and contract employees through training, safety – environmental rounds, EH&S audits and site inspections.
• Ensures compliance with applicable occupational health and safety regulations, laws, policies and procedures. Actively participates in, supports, and promotes health and safety initiatives.
• Ensures all unplanned, off-site discharge of hazardous materials and wastes are immediately reported internally and managed per hospital’s policy and procedures including post-incident risk management.
• Manages the Hazardous & Medical Waste, Waste Water & Strom Drain program, and Bay Area Air Quality Management District including applicable policy, program, and regulatory/compliance audits.
• Ensures that all incidents are promptly and correctly reported, investigated, and effective measures are taken to prevent reoccurrence.

Education:

The KWU Wastewater Treatment Plant operates 24/7 with 3 Operator shifts: 1st shift
(6:00AM to 2:00PM), 2nd shift (2:00PM to 10:00PM) and 3rd shift (10:00PM to
6:00AM). THE CURRENT VACANCY IS FOR 2ND SHIFT OPERATOR.
14-day Plant Operator Work Schedule: 7 days plant operating (1st, 2nd or 3rd shift), 3 days
maintenance (7AM-3:30PM), 4 days off.
Under the supervision of the Director of Wastewater Treatment, the Wastewater Treatment
Plant Operator operates, regulates and maintains wastewater treatment plant facilities and
equipment; and performs related work as required. The incumbent must obtain the required
Operator certification (outlined in the "Requirements" section of this posting) during the
probationary period.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates and maintains a 28MGD conventional activated sludge plant, biosolids processing
and power generating equipment.
Monitors flow meters, gauges and process meter readings and makes equipment
adjustments to maintain proper operation of wastewater systems.
Starts and stops motors and engines as needed; checks equipment readings and records
data; makes necessary adjustments.

Collects samples of sludge, biosolids, centrate and wastewater.
Flushes tanks and equipment with fire hose; makes minor adjustments and repairs to
operating equipment and assists in major repairs.
Operates lever and chain operated valves.
Inspects and lubricates equipment.
Assists in maintenance, cleaning and inspection at lift stations and the equalization basin.
Observes chemical feed systems and adjusts for proper operation; changes chlorine and
sulfur dioxide tanks as needed.
Uses a variety of hand and power tools.
Keeps records and writes reports.
Maintains plant security on nights and weekends while working alone in the plant.
Performs minor laboratory testing including chlorine and pH analysis.
Other Required Duties & Responsibilities: (illustrative only)
Drives dump truck to haul grit.
Performs general housekeeping including cleaning, washing and painting buildings and
equipment.
Cuts and trims grass.
Moves equipment and supplies.
May be required to assist in snow and ice removal activities.
Attends meetings and seminars.
Performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required Education, Training and Experience:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
Related work experience involving plant operations and maintenance, preferably at a
sewage or wastewater treatment facility (or similar industry).
Current Wisconsin Wastewater Operator or comparable certification highly desired but not
required.
Formal course work or training in wastewater treatment, water chemistry, maintenance
mechanics, facility maintenance, or other related field may be helpful.
Must obtain the following Wastewater Operator certification during probation
and shall be required to maintain such certification during employment in this
position.
Grade OIT certification from the State of Wisconsin.
Three (3) sub-classes from the following:
Biological Treatment (A-1 - Suspended Growth Processes)
Solids Separation (B - Solids Separation)
Solids Treatment (C - Biological Solids/Sludge Handling, Processing & Reuse)
Nutrient Removal (P - Total Phosphorus)
Disinfection (D - Disinfection)
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical
equipment.
Working knowledge of minor repairs and adjustments.
Ability to make accurate observations and recordings of plant operation.
Ability to perform mechanical and maintenance duties.
Ability to establish effective public relationships.
Ability to keep records and make reports.
Ability to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:
Task may involve the regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical
tasks such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, working in
confined spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20-50 pound) items.

or shop equipment requiring the manipulation of multiple controls, fine adjustments or
both; or the sustained operation of associated equipment.

Professional-level position involving application of engineering principles associated with public works type projects throughout the County. • Assist in performing routine level instrument work and minor surveying for project layout and verification of completed work.
• Assist in conducting field inspections of contractor work in progress and completing inspection reports to verify percent of project completed against scheduled values for purposes of recommending approval/denial of contractor application for payments.
• Obtain parcel/property/title and other legal information by researching public records and plotting legal descriptions for mapping computations.
• Responsible for assisting with coordination of office duties and responsibilities.

Summary of Full-Time Employee Benefits
FY2016
A Life insurance policy valued at $15,000 is provided for employee-only. The County pays the full premium on the employees behalf, making this policy FREE for full time employees. Additional insurance amounts and dependent life insurance policies are also available for an additional charge paid by the employee through payroll deductions.
Full time employees receive 11 paid holidays per year and also one floating Personal Day. For a full time employee this equates to 96 hours of paid leave per year.
Full time employees receive 40 hours of paid vacation time after they have completed their first full year. (Firefighters accumulate at a different rate).
Paid sick time begins to accrue after the 4th full month of full time employment. 8 hours of sick time will accrue at the END of every month. This benefit equates to 96 paid sick hours per year.
Florida Retirement System has two options for full time employees, either the Pension Plan or the Investment Plan. Both plans have different vesting periods. The County pays 6.95% of the full time employee’s gross wages into the FRS retirement fund for Regular Class employees. (Firefighters receive high risk retirement rates)
Major medical insurance coverage through United Health Care is FREE for full time employees. Coverage requires a 90 day waiting period. This benefit costs $8,137 per year in paid premium, paid by the County on the employee’s behalf. Dependent coverage for spouse and children is available for purchase by the employee through payroll deductions.
Dental insurance, life insurance, accident insurance, vision insurance, deferred compensation (451K) and many other coverage options and policies are available for additional purchase paid by the employee through payroll deductions.

JOB PURPOSE
Perform general building maintenance and repairs. This individual would also be expected to assist janitorial and grounds contractor with minor repairs. This is an entry-level position leading to apprenticeship specialization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a base of knowledge in building operations. The job includes minor repairs on everything from grounds to Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing systems as directed by supervisor. Summary of Responsibilities:
Based at UNMISS Headquarters in Juba, the Contingent Commander will report to the UNMISS Special Representative of the Secretary General (SRSG) or his/her delegate, and the UNMISS Police Commissioner or corrections director, depending on their generalist type. Under the UN system, the Contingent Commander does not supervise a Contingent member, unless the Contingent member is assigned to a position under Contingent Commander’s oversight. The Contingent Commander does have a supervisory role in that he/she is the primary point of contact for UN and UNMISS officials in matters related to each Contingent member’s performance of and of the United States. The individual will be classified as “Supervisory”. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• For UN Mission, serve as the primary contact person for the Contingent.

Title: Spec Ops & Exercise III Planner

RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB PURPOSE: Subject matter expert will provide support and be capable of executing all JELC events associated with UEWTEP USSOCOM Battlestaff, Geographical Combatant Command Exercises, and TSOC exercises. This includes: pre/post conference brief and message preparation for approval, coordination with DOD and Interagency entities, scripting of MSEL products, and action officer representation for exercise execution.
Specific duties include:
• Provide advice and assistance to FMD-JCT Leadership on all aspects of building, developing and executing exercises.
• Plan and provide comprehensive exercise design and scripting support during all JELC events to include the Exercise Control Group (ECG).
• Advise and assist the Lead Exercise Planners (LEPs) during all JELC Events to include building tailored briefs and products, recommending best practices, templates, tools, processes and procedures.
• Assist the Operations Working Group by building the following products:
o Develop operational timelines
o Develop synchronization matrices
o Advise and assist in the development of training and exercise objective
• Advise, assist and coordinate all exercise support requirements by, with and through the OTC Lead to include recommendations/assistance on exercise academic support to include developing scenarios to support academics.
• Provide subject matter expertise on the operational support to International and National strategy, EXORDS and CONPLANS for United States and select partner nations.
• Replicate International/National/Strategic and operational level, products and orders to support Theater SOF exercises for a multinational training audience.
• Understand International and National strategy, EXORDS and CONPLANS for both the United States and select partner nations.
• Provide recommendations for exercise support requirements for all JELC events to include MSEL, scripting and execution events.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience/Education:
• More than 12 years SOF experience with relative experience.
• More than four years’ experience in the design of exercises, scenarios, and the management of JMSEL events.
• More than five years’ experience conducting joint and coalition operations and/or training.
• Strong familiarity with the JELC.
• Proven knowledge of service / joint doctrine. Experience with the Joint Staff, military operations, planning and exercises.
• Demonstrated capability and experience in developing operational products to support GCC and TSOC SOF/CT exercises.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate with exercise participants such as CCMDs and components, supporting command staff, and other parties to effectively support realistic scenarios to facilitate warfighter’s ability to conduct operations in an asymmetrical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully defend exercise scenario assumptions and make informed recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate with trainers and exercise participants at all levels to effectively support AAR and lessons learned development.
• Knowledgeable of the USSOCOM Strategic Planning Process.
• Demonstrated ability to establish exercise objectives based upon doctrine, current and emergent threats, defense readiness reporting system reports, lessons learned and operational after action reports.
• B.A. degree or equivalence of 20 years of military experience. Command and General Staff College (or enlisted equivalent) Graduate preferred. Experience can be substituted.

JOB PURPOSE: Prepare all-source intelligence products to support exercise planning and execution for the USSOCOM Force Management Directorate, Joint Capabilities Training Office. Summary of Responsibilities:
Preferably based at UNMISS Headquarters in Juba but due to UNMISS assignments this may not be possible, the Deputy Contingent Commander shall serve as the Contingent Commander in the event that the Contingent Commander is absent, (e.g. leave, Rest and Relaxation), ill, traveling, or otherwise indisposed. If such matters involve the Contingent Commander or the Contingent Commander has a conflict of interest for a particular instance, the Deputy Contingent Commander shall assume this role. The Contingent Commander (or the Deputy Contingent Commander in his/her absence) also regularly liaises and communicates with U.S. Embassy Juba officials and visiting Washington officials, briefing them as necessary on the status and circumstances of the U.S. Contingent. This includes attending meetings and briefings at the U.S. Embassy as necessary.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• For UN Missions matters, serve as the second primary contact person for the Contingent.
• Assist the Contingent Commander in overseeing each Contingent member’s reporting and work requirements to meet INL and Contract needs.
• Assist the Contingent Commander with his/her responsibilities when so delegated by the Contingent Commander.

REQUIREMENTS:
Training & Experience:
High school diploma, HSED or GED.
Possession of a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with no restriction for air brake
operation at the time of application.
Three (3) years of experience in the operation of standard or specialized heavy equipment.
OSHA Confined Space Entry certification/training highly desired.
Must pass a written and field examination.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of standard and specialized heavy
equipment.
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safe work practices.
Experience using the tools, methods and materials commonly used in construction or
maintenance activities.
Experience making minor repairs of and adjustments to equipment.
Ability to understand and effectively carry out verbal and written instructions.

Physical Requirements:
Task involves the regular, and at times sustained, performance of heavier physical tasks
such as walking over rough or uneven surfaces, bending, stooping, working in confined
spaces, and lifting or carrying moderately heavy (20-80 pound) items and occasionally
very heavy (100 pounds or over) items.
Task involves the complex operation of gasoline, electric, or diesel-powered machinery or
shop equipment requiring the manipulation of multiple controls, fine adjustments or both;
or the sustained operation of associated equipment.
Task involves the frequent use of coordinating and manipulative skills in performing a
variety of tasks with the full range of hand tools and shop equipment; or the skilled and
complex operation of heavy equipment calling for adherence to exacting standards of
depth, grade, dimensions, and contours.
Environmental Requirements:
Task requires that work be performed in adverse environmental conditions in all types of
