Position Overview: This position will be in the Strategy & Workforce Insights group, reporting to the Senior Manager of Portfolio/Project Management in the Human Resources (HR) department. The HR Compliance Project Manager will act as the single point of contact for HR’s compliance efforts, aligned with the Company’s Ethics & Compliance Framework. Key stakeholders include Ethics & Compliance, Law, and HR and other Company personnel who have employment-related compliance responsibilities. The successful candidate will partner with HR Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and process owners to ensure HR is compliant with changes to employment-related laws, respond to known/potential non-compliance events, and mitigate future compliance risk. He/she will also provide additional project support for non-compliance-related HR initiatives, support Project Management Office (PMO) senior project managers on enterprise initiatives and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Typical Responsibilities Include: • Help ensure Human Resources (HR) is operating consistently with Ethics & Compliance standards. • Monitor employment-related legislative and regulatory actions for company implications and project manage any required changes including requirement validation, risk assessment, controls development, and routine monitoring. • Manage responses to non-compliance events immediately upon discovery; ensure HR’s response is complete, and subject matter experts/process owners implement mitigation to prevent further/future non-compliance events • Manage the suite of HR policies, programs and procedures; lead the annual review of HR’s policies by ensuring each one is thoroughly reviewed and updated, and ensure implementation of ad-hoc changes to HR policies as legal, regulatory, or business needs dictate • Lead certain HR regulatory and compliance reporting efforts, participate in cross-functional compliance-related teams as the HR lead, and work with HR and other personnel to properly document and regularly update key HR procedures • Manage HR’s records management program, leading the HR Information Stewards Team through the annual review process, so that HR is compliant with record retention schedules and legal holds • Lead HR’s data privacy efforts in concert with the Ethics & Compliance Privacy Compliance Program Manager and perform regular assessments of access to personal and sensitive employee data, providing assurance that access is obtained to the lowest achievable level • Manage the evaluation, development, and implementation of additional non-compliance related projects, including strategic or process improvement initiatives, which have operating unit impact • Make strategic decisions regarding establishing and changing project direction as well as identify and manage resolution of major or complex issues Minimum Qualifications: • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience leading/managing HR programs.
