2. Senior Datacenter Engineer - Springfield, VA (with potential for telework)
NES Associates, a GDIT company is looking for a Senior Datacenter Engineer who will be responsible for supporting, implementing, and documenting network/datacenter solutions. Candidate will work with a team of engineers on projects to maintain, modify, and redesign complex architectures in an unclassified environment. Candidate will act as a senior technical POC for a range of tasks on the project. All work will be carried out for the Department of Defense; therefore, a candidate with a current active clearance would be highly preferred.
This position requires expert technical background in the IT networking industry, in particular, aspects like configuration, implementation and troubleshooting of large complex DOD enterprise networks. Candidate will be working with a team of engineers to sustain, configure, document, and deploy an enterprise network for a DoD agency in alignment with DoD’s migration to JIE (JRSS, MPLS, ICAN, Cloud).
Primary duties include:
· Leading projects involving multiple engineers of varying skill levels.
· Providing technical assessment of requirements and definition from conception through implementation.
· Training and mentoring other engineers as needed.
· Troubleshoot network, server and storage issues.
· Creating manuals, support documentation, and knowledge archives for all projects undertaken.
· Optimizing existing networks, servers and storage by adjusting parameters, recommending improvements, and evaluating new technologies as they relate to the customer network.
· Develop and sustain NMS tools and establish monitoring policies and signatures.
· Participate in a rotating weekly on-call schedule.
· Use ticketing system to create, update, and resolve tickets
· Ensure proper capacity planning in concert with network, systems and storage architectural designs and migrations.
Required Skills
· Expert hands-on working experience with as many of the following as possible: routers (Cisco preferred), Cisco Nexus switch platforms, F5 load balancers/application delivery controllers, Palo Alto Firewalls, compute and storage technologies including fabric interconnects, UCS, MDS switches, VNX arrays, and VMware deployments.
· Expert knowledge of TCP/IP and associated routing protocols such as (M)BGP, OSPF, etc
· Expert knowledge of MPLS protocols and services such as LDP/RSVP, L2 and L3 VPN technologies, etc
· Strong knowledge with Cisco/VMware based compute and storage technologies including: fabric interconnects, UCS B series, MDS switches, VNX arrays, and VMware deployments.
· Strong knowledge of storage area network (SAN) design and implementation including FC, FCoE, and iSCSI.
· Strong knowledge with VMware ESXi 6.5 and later, vSphere Distributed Switches, vCenter, Platform Services Controllers (PSC), etc.
· Strong knowledge of DISA STIG guidance and experience implementing DISA STIGs to secure DoD enclaves for the above technologies.
· Basic knowledge of Cloud technologies and architectures, including Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
· Competence with MS Visio and Powerpoint to update and maintain network design documentation, and develop design plans to be populated among various engineering teams and stakeholders.
· Knowledge of JIE concepts such as Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS), MPLS, and Installation Campus Area Network (ICAN) standards is preferred.
Required Experience
· Experience developing and interpreting detailed installation instructions and supporting documentation to effect network design deployments.
· Proven capability to lead engineering teams on complex deployments.
· Excellent ability for clear and concise oral and written communication; capability to interface at multiple levels and successfully present technical information
· Extensive experience with enterprise network design and sustainment, to include routing, switching, data center, and cloud technology areas.
· Experience working within the parameters detailed via DISA STIGs.
· Capacity to track, guide, and when necessary mentor multiple teams simultaneously.

AS PART OF THIS TEAM YOU WILL:
Be responsible for supporting the development and certification of IA compliant Windows and/or Linux systems. The work will be performed in accordance with the requirements of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) per NIST 800 series requirements. You will also test, maintain and support operating system software using Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) in order to lock down the operating systems. The work will be performed largely on Linux and Windows operating systems. REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years experience in IA/Cyber Security to include:
Secret Clearance
A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Information Technology
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related Cybersecurity and Information Assurance related subject matter. More About the Role:
While deployed, you will embed with warfighters to assist operational and tactical commanders, their staffs and subordinate units and apply irregular warfare analysis to enhance their effectiveness against threat networks. You will apply irregular warfare analytic expertise and make recommendations for future products, anticipate customer intelligence needs, and explore anomalies, new developments, and trends that could impact or threaten US operational capabilities or intelligence requirements. Most deployments are 180 days in length.
While providing reach back support, you will directly support embedded teammates; answer requests for support from other tactical units; and work closely with a wide variety of units, institutions, and partners. You will assist with pre-deployment training/preparation, conduct professional development within the CACI-WGI Irregular Warfare Analysis Team, and mentor new members of the team to ensure they are ready to deploy and succeed.
Among the topics you will analyze are insurgent political and military organization, military capabilities, and combat tactics, techniques, and procedures as well as recruitment, training, sustainment, population influence and control methodologies, material procurement, development, and proliferation, transregional logistics and financing.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
Minimum one-year experience in forward deployed locations supporting tactical operations.
Minimum two years of experience conducting analysis of irregular warfare problem sets to highlight insurgent or threat network organization, key nodes, and vulnerabilities.

RESPONSIBILTIES:
Researches unclassified and classified databases for use in written products. Monitors and analyzes strategic and operational intelligence information. IDS International is seeking an Assistant Military Exercise Planner to support the National Training Center (NTC) Special Operations Forces (SOF) program located at Ft. Irwin, CA. The Assistant Military Exercise Planner will assist to develop SOF scenarios and other products that tie to the conventional force (CF) scenario based on the SOF rotational unit’s training objectives. These products will prepare designated SOF units and their staff for combat.
Duties:
Prepare and develop products and plans which will facilitate CF - SOF interoperability, integration and interdependence (I3) during the Brigade Combat Team Decisive Action Training Exercise (DATE) Scenario and other specialized exercises as required.
In conjunction with conventional force planners, plan, coordinate, integrate, synchronize, and prepare grammatically and doctrinally correct Special Operations (SO) and exercise control products.
Products include, but are not limited to, JSOTF OPORDs, FRAGORDs, TASKORDs, Target Folders, and SO Intelligence Summaries.
During NTC rotations, planners will serve as an Operations/Intelligence representative in a replicated JSOTF HQ within the NTC Tactical Operations Center.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Synchronizing SOF planning, coordination, and execution of Joint Training Coordination Program (JTCP) prioritized Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) programs to facilitate and emulate SOF - conventional force integration, interdependence and interoperability.
Assist with regular reports and timely responses to requests for information to the SOF rotational unit, USASOC, NTC, and the combat training center detachment HQ.
Facilitate communication between the SOF rotational unit, the Army service component (USASOC), and the NTC.
Support the integration of essential USASOC SOF training requirements with NTC exercise initiatives and activities.
Assist with the development of SOF specific plans and scenarios for implementation into the NTC DATE scenario.
Assist with scripting SOF scenarios, SOF exercise injects using current, evolving doctrine and SOF best practices.

The Kenosha Water Utility (KWU) provides water and wastewater services to more than
100,000 people in the Kenosha area, including the City of Kenosha, the Villages of Bristol,
Pleasant Prairie, and Somers. Surface water from Lake Michigan has been our community's source
for drinking water since 1894. The Kenosha Water Utility also provides a monthly household
hazardous waste collection service for residents of the City of Kenosha. Kenosha is located along

JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of the US Special Operations Command Lessons Learned Program is to save lives, resources, and time through aggressive global collection, analysis, outreach, and dissemination of relevant U.S. Special Operations Forces observations, insights, and lessons to the Special Operations Forces (SOF) warfighter and Joint Community.

Prepare collection plans and collect data using direct methods of interviewing and observation. SUMMARY: The overall objective of this contract is to provide timely, accurate and efficient support to Human Intelligence (HUMINT) collection operations within all offices of the Director of Operations (DO). The tasks covered in this effort are for collection operations support, not administrative support.
WORK LOCATION: Primary locations: Quantico, VA and Ft. Meade, MD
Secondary locations: Los Angeles, CA
Temporary Duty Stations (TDY): CONUS and OCONUS
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Format, review, quality control, and publish/release Information Intelligence Reports (IIR), ensuring that all appropriate policies and guidance are adhered to, and that information meets defined reporting thresholds.
· Conduct post-publication IIR reviews and annual IIR reconciliation.
· Maintain IIR reporting metrics to assist in the collection management mission.
· Utilize available intelligence tools to assist in a qualitative review of platform/ collector performance.
· Present collection management trends, issues, and reporting highlights regularly.
· Task Intelligence Community Requirements (ICRs) via HUMINT Online Tasking and Reporting (HOTR) or other tasking and reporting system and perform HOTR troubleshooting.
· Advocate for and focus collection.
· Process, prioritize, coordinate, and task collection requirements, and maintain metrics of activity relative to requirements.
· Review past reporting and propose future collection capabilities on assigned topics.
· Produce or track collection emphasis messages (CEMs) as needed. CEM production and any intelligence reporting responding to the CEMs to be included in the Monthly Report.
· Provide input to the integrated collection strategy, identifying pillars to focus collection against hard targets from Strategic Intelligence Plan, National Intelligence Priority Framework, National Collection HUMINT Directives, according to platform Placement & Access (P&A).
· Use collection strategy to propose Operation Directives (OD).
· Support OD development, coordination, tasking, review and reorientation.
· Provide input to determine unit collection posture and propose collection posture statements and ODs for assigned units.
· Provide input to Integrated Collection Strategies, capability statements, and other products that support operational planning.
· Proposed documents shall have government approval before publishing.
· Serve as the collection management conduit to the field and consumers.
· Coordinate collection issues, priorities, requirements, topics, and concerns among HQ, customers and field elements.
· Participate in working groups, conferences, and meetings as required.
· Represent defense HUMINT in agency, defense, and national forums.
· Develop and maintain analytic contacts and a high degree of subject matter expertise for assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR) or target set.

Job Description:
The Intermediate Level Technical Analyst – Signature Reduction SME supports all aspects of SR activities involving the planning and execution of sensitive SOF operations
Supports USSOCOM J3X by: drafting and maintaining SR policy; reviewing SOF SR Program documents; reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and other required regulatory documents to ensure compliance with U.S. law and Department of Defense (DoD) polices and regulations
Drafts or assists component commands/units in planning and submitting SR plans, annexes, amendments, and all supporting staffing documentation to obtain approvals
Provides subject matter expertise during training events, conferences, working groups, and organizational meetings to support mission planning objectives and directed tasks
Operates all SR automation systems and assists with periodic command inspections of subordinate unit SR programs led by the USSOCOM Inspector General's Office (SOIG)
Prepares due diligence assessments and annual revues of operational SR Plans. Responds to, drafts, and advises senior leadership on all aspects of Serious Incident Reporting
Supports and manages the implementation of SR plans in accordance with SOCOM directives and policies
Advises senior leadership on issues affecting SR programs by presenting mission briefs, and formal staffing memorandums. Maintains all required records / documentation, responds to requests for input, and prepares research papers.
Conducts technical supportability reviews for submitted SR Plans, requirements, and amending/supporting documents
Utilizes liaison contacts and national intelligence databases / reporting systems to maintain situational awareness in countries where SOF is deployed or will deploy
Qualifications:
Three years as an action or staff officer involved in interagency coordination reporting between multiple US agencies (Joint Staff, OSD, DoS, or IC)
Must have at least three years of experience briefing and directly supporting General/Flag Officers and senior executives.
Must have a proven record project highly complex and technical programs within timelines and budgets.
Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, which is a mandatory skill to function as a fully qualified Technical Analyst at all assigned levels.
Must have at least three years of experience with the following:
Former SOF experience in USSOCOM, a TSOC, SOF component command (JSOC, USASOC, AFSOC, NAVSPECWARCOM, or MARSOC), Special Mission Unit, or other DoD units utilizing SR Programs.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Desired Qualifications:
3 or more years working with Department of State and/or the inter-agency
Advanced Degree is highly desired.
Program Management Professional certification is highly desired
Worked in J2 or J3
Experience working with the TSOC’s
