Description

Determines the type and sequence of work assigned on the basis of work priority and availability of inventory and supplies. Inspects work performed to ensure compliance with established procedures and time schedules. Coordinates with Government Quality Assurance Representatives and other Managers/Supervisors to ascertain compatibility of procedures among various organizations or branches engaged in logistics support and to ensure a close integration of operations. Ensures compliance with administrative and government regulations.



Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree with a major study in logistics engineering, property control/inventory, supply management, accounting or related field.
In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credit, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.
Ten (10) years of progressive work experience in a logistics operations support environment.
Four (4) years of supervisory experience.
Must be a US Citizen. Proof required.
Working knowledge of Powerpoint/EXCEL/ACCESS software, and SASSY/ATLASS, STRATIS integrated applications, and P&MCLS Program.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

8. Position: Special Forces Subject Matter Expert (Tampa FL)
Responsibilities

K2 Solutions is seeking Senior Operational Specialists to provide direct support to the Army, Marine and other US Joint Forces to serve as members of a multi-discipline team performing tasks directly related to the Global War on Terrorism, focused on countering improvised explosive devices.

These positions are best suited for broadly-gauged experts who have extensive experience in all areas and levels of counterinsurgency operations - from patrol to Division level.

Personnel in these positions perform missions in various remote locations, including high threat environments such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
Experience and Education:

Recent in-theater experience with a Special Operations unit is required. Multiple tours at various operational levels that includes a mix of direct combat, operational planning, training development and Ops-Intel fusion is preferred.

Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years experience in Special Operations and a minimum of two (2) years experience deployed to either Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom or Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Time deployed to either location as a member of the military (vice contractor) is preferred.

Successful applicants will have direct counterinsurgency operational experience in positions from team member through SF BN/Group (SOF) or Company through Division/MEF level (Conventional).

Applicants must demonstrate skill in performing multi-faceted projects with a diverse workforce in terms of age, gender and ethnicity.
