Role

Requirements

This position prepares and presents graphics driven weather forecasts while maintaining StormTracker 13 weather brand. Introduction. The Colorado National Guard SYC (State Youth Coordinator (Contractor)) is to assist the State Family Program office in providing support, information and specialized activities aimed at the care and welfare of our National Guard Youth both Air and Army Guard. Personal issues that the SYC may encounter will/may require counseling and referral to an area Chaplain or an on staff Military Family Life Consultant (MFLC); Legal matters may require referral to a military Judge Advocate (JAG) representative and abuse cases will need referral to the appropriate authorities. The SYC will need to be familiar with available resources, and or personal knowledge and life experiences as it pertains to children and general questions that relate to military. The SYC will become familiar with the youth of the deployed units so that care and information can be offered to the Youth before, during and after a deployment.

MAJOR DUTIES.
a. State subject matter expert on Child and Youth Services (CYS)
b. Advisor to state commanders (TAG, BDE, BN) and state Family Program staff on matters related to child and youth services.
c. Work collaboratively with Family Program personnel, State Family Program Director, Wing Family Program Director, FACs, and Yellow Ribbon Staff
d. Assist state in development of CYS program
e. Identify, train, and coordinate with CYS points of contact in each state
f. Facilitate and implement ARNG and ANG youth activities/services using local/state/national resources and partners, e.g., 4H, BGCA, NMFA, MCEC, schools, etc.
g. Maintain involvement with Army outreach initiatives, e.g., Operation: Military Kids (OMK), Operation: Child Care (OCC)
h. Maintain ARNG/ANG statistical data, reports and provide trend analysis as directed by the state and NGB
i. Assist in development and delivery of training
j. Facilitate and implement child care and supporting services using local/state/national resources, e.g., NACCRRA, 4H, BGCA as directed by NGB. Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities.
k. Serve as a member of ARNG/ANG working groups and other committees/taskforces as appropriate
l. Prepare monthly reports documenting work accomplished, problems encountered, significant results, and work planned
m. Create and maintain databases of contact information
n. Provide information/resources as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS.
a. Must demonstrate:

i. Familiarity with the issues of deployment.
ii. Ability to work effectively with children of all ages.
iii. Ability to plan and supervise a wide variety of child and youth related activities.
iv. Ability to plan, organize and execute local and state events.
v. Areas of expertise relating to the creation, implementation, and oversight of a State Program.
vi. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills.
vii. Ability to support and advocate for the state program (Travel around the state to support deployment/reunion activities and to promote the activities of the Youth Program).

Education.

23. Medics for Static and PSD Security Teams (Afghanistan)
14.6.1. The PSD Medic: Expatriate shall be one skilled in Tactical Combat Casualty Care and or Advanced Trauma skills. The Medic must demonstrate skills as they relate to hostile combatant environments or the demonstrable equivalent of such environments (for example a medic operating in gang/militia infested neighborhoods) to include but not limited to the ability to call for a medical
AIRP (USAID) Afghanistan Scope of Services - evacuation and the skill sets needed to treat the casualty for several hours until more definitive medical care can be provided. At least one course in live tissue training is preferred. He shall have held at a minimum the rank of corporal in an Infantry or Medical Unit in the US, Australian, UK, Canadian, South African or New Zealand military for a period of not less than two years. He shall have had previous experience as a PSD Team Medic within the private security sector in the Middle East or Central Asia for a period of not less than one year. He shall be either PSD or CQB qualified.
14.6.2. The medic in a PSD team will also be the Deputy Team Leader

14.5.1. The Intelligence Officer will be an Expatriate fluent in English and shall have been at a minimum a senior noncommissioned officer in an Infantry or Intelligence Corps unit in the US, Australian, UK, Canadian, South African or New Zealand military for a period of not less than two years. Logistics Analyst Supply Manager (Full Time): Seeking a candidate with Navy, Military Sealift Command (MSC) or Coast Guard logistics experience supporting maintenance programs and engineering systems. The successful candidate will provide coordination and management of other supply personnel, they should have significant and progressive shipboard logistics experience with strong analytical skills. Incumbent normally works under the guidance of senior engineers, analysts, and managers. Provides management, customers and sub-contractors with logistics technology and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment and systems. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications and related information to identify and document configuration and support requirements. Reviews engineering designs and analyzes equipment characteristics. 28. Business Title: Financial Manager/Controller (Business Manager)(Chantilly, VA)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia

Job Description: Manage and direct business activities related to government contracts awarded to provide a wide array of criminal justice sector development programs worldwide. Program countries include Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan, Liberia, Lebanon, Haiti, the West Bank, and Kosovo as well as other countries emerging from armed conflict.

The Financial Manager/Controller will manage risk, ensure resources are efficiently applied to achieve customer objectives, generate revenues, control costs, and establish conditions favorable for overall improvement in service delivery to Department of State and other customers and stakeholders.

The Financial Manager/Controller will support the Program Manager, government oversight authorities, executive management and others meet operational, strategic and business objectives by providing timely, reliable, auditable and authoritative reports on the status of programs and projects undertaken under government contracts.

The Financial Manager/Controller will develop a full range of processes, apply appropriate technology and implement detailed procedures to manage risks inherent in multiple projects undertaken in developing and underdeveloped countries.

The Financial Manager/Controller will lead an organization capable of continuous improvement of financial and accounting processes, analytical processes, tools and reporting, budgeting and forecasting, controls and performance, financial closing and invoice preparation, financial and management reporting and coordinating shared services.

Accountabilities / Responsibilities include:
• Leading a business management organization managing multiple engagements worldwide
• Leading JSI process and systems aspects of JSI start-up implementation, incorporating best practice and compliant processes
• Leading efforts to mobilize for a new engagement or transition from an incumbent service provider
• Complying with all applicable public law and implementing regulations government financial management of government contracts
• Installing appropriate processes and financial controls
• Providing timely accurate reports on the financial status of the contract(s) and country-level projects
• Tracking manpower and ODC costs and associate records consistent with regulatory requirements
• Interacting with government authorities, program and project managers, executive leadership, and functional experts to identify risks, issues or ‘gaps’ in performance, analyze roots causes, determine corrective action, develop corrective action or remediation plans, implement plans and track progress and make necessary adjustments until corrective action is accomplished.
• Developing employees, mentoring personnel, leading change and championing efforts to achieve equity in the workplace
• Develop initiatives to deliver increasing greater value to the government and host country

Qualifications
• 10 years of direct experience related to accounting and financial management, program management or other experience ideally related directly to management of government contracts preferably executed in OCONUS locations
• BS degree in Business Administration, Accounting or a field closely related to the accountabilities and responsibilities of the position
• Masters degree (e.g., MBA, MS Management) or a advanced professional credential (e.g., CPA)
• Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies and leading practices
• Experience in designing and improving business processes such as: monthly close, management and financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, consolidations, shared services and outsourcing
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software package functionality, implementation, support, controls and security; knowledge of Cost Point or similar applications is desirable
• Demonstrated track record of team leadership, client/stakeholder relationship management, and project management
• Progressive experience leading teams, mentoring staff, evaluating performance and providing performance feedback
